We are leaving this weekend for our vacation and we are super excited. I hate to ask this if its already been discussed, but if we ask for a hard boiled egg for breakfast, would they consider this a snack? Just that I would hate to use a quick service credit for my breakfast, when this is all I really like to eat. Anyone know??:confused3

You might be able to find hard boiled eggs in a "grab & go" area of a counter service restaurant - I remember seeing them at least one place. Couldn't say if it was a snack, though - it never hurts to ask!

Hi! Just wanted to add some quick notes - I'll reply again later if I think of more.

French Toast Loaf was NOT a snack at Main Street Bakery
Milkshakes are no longer on the menu at Pinocchio Village Haus
Strawberry Swirl is no longer on the menu at Enchanted Cove

That doesn't make any sense. I read a TR about a month ago & saw a picture of the receipt showing they used a snack credit to purchase the FTL.Did they try & run it thru or just say no?

Fries are NOT a snack at Flame Tree.

Also, you can't get Carrot Cake at BW bakery as a snack.

Another strange one as I purchased french fries myself at FT in April 2X. Unless the price has changed at BW bakery, I'm clueless why it has been removed.

I told the CM that I knew for SURE that others had received the french toast loaf as a snack credit. She said it was NOT a snack credit and that she worked A LOT with the dining plan and that it had changed a long time ago. She wasn't terribly nice about it, either! Well, I just left the french toast loaf at her register and enjoyed hmillerbarilla's apple charlotte instead - which was delicious! :goodvibes (I didn't ask to have her try it on the register - I simply wanted OUT of there and away from her sour attitude.)

The fries at FT were not marked with the DDP snack sign so we did ask about it - she said no way included in any shape or form with the DDP, only OOP.

Hmillerbarilla left the carrot cake at the counter at BW Bakery, too. It just wouldn't taste as good if you paid OOP! (Considering we had over 100+ snack credits to use, we weren't about to pay OOP.)

Mmm 100 snack creditspopcorn::

Anyway...yes I noticed too that the french fries are not marked with the DP symbol but I asked anyway and it deducted a snack credit on the receipt. Unfortunately, my receipts are in the attic at the moment or I could have posted the pic.

Hopefully, what you encounted were some CM's having a "bad day".

I tried to get the French Toast loaf as a snack credit one morning. The girl behind the counter said yes even though it did not have the DP symbol. I get to the check out and the lady there said "absolutely no it was not counted as a snack credit." I go back to the counter to replace it and it was taking forever and she called me back saying she would rerun it through as something else but for future notice it was not allowed.

I was confused too because I read on here it was allowed.

I wasn't able to use a snack credit at Flame Tree Barbeque for onion rings - though it's on the confirmed list :confused3

That should definitely be a snack credit. The DP symbol is right next to it on the menu board.

Just stumbled on this thread - it's awesome!!

Thanks so much for putting it together...

on our last trip we got a strawberry smoothie at MK bakery, the symbol was by it which is why i ordered it. at check out the cm says 'that is not on the DDp' and i turned around and said it is on the sign. then she was like oh ok.

That's what I was wondering as well.

Maybe wait until next month to see what happens?

maybe.... all CMs that we encountered acted like we were crazy though. Hopefully it is because of free dining and they will be back to being snacks.

Things at the BW bakery did have snack signs and the carrot cake, tiramisu and chocolate cake DID NOT have the snack sign by them in the case.

at Flame Tree only the corn muffin had the sign.

Well now that Disney is pretty much giving away free dining until the end of the year I'm afaid these items will not return in 2009. They may be slowly cutting back on items hoping we won't notice;)

I know! Ugh. What a poor introduction to WDW my parents will get this November. :sad2:

Sled Dog Expeditions (also located near Ski Patrol Training Camp)

Menu
Rootbeer Float, Dreamsicle, Waffle Cone, Drinks

I had the Dreamsicle 2 weeks ago. It's an ice cream float made with Orange Soda/pop. It was really good. :)

We also had Flan at the Boardwalk Bakery, which I didn't notice on the list.
