For anyone concerned about Tropical Depression Number 4 (sounds like a mixed drink). There is a whole new thread on this entitled "When are we in the clear?" At least one metereologist has posted to that thread indicating that the Tropical Depression is expected to head to to the East of Bermuda. He or she also gives some reasons about why the Tropical Depression probably will not intensify rapidly.

My wife is concerned that there won't be any playmates for her 51 year old DH. He normally plays well with others, and she's just wondering if anyone is bringing someone who will talk sports, have an occasional grog of rum and run around the deck going "Arggggggggg" a lot? pirate:

Well, if you can stand a younger playmate, Dave was 47 on Saturday, loves sports and I dare you to stop him from all the arggging. Why do I feel like I am setting him up on a date??? :rotfl2:

You are "sports bilingual" if you can talk both Big 10 and SEC football. And, I still cannot figure out why Auburn insists on having more than 1 mascot. They have a Tiger walk before the football game and then run around yelling Go War Eagles. I think those fans are VERY confused.

Tom and I ALWAYS do Palo on the first night! We did skip Christmas Eve, as well...it was Christmas Eve. Anyway...we love it up there on the first night as it is predominantly crew and cast members! Things are more relaxed and the service tends to be in abundance. We have done other nights early on in our DCL history...but we have found that this is our favorite! We usually skip the show though...but the really good ones are later in the week. Do you have early or late seating?? You can always go down before or after, introduce yourselves...everybody understands an evening at Palo's!!!

Ok, you have convinced me. Our reservations are for 730, if you overlap, stop by the table and say hi!

With respect to the Palo reservations, I can try to make the reservations for you if DCL will let me. I had to call the Radisson today to get us on the 10 am shuttle to appease by DD's yearning to try to be one of the first on the ship. Therefore, we should have plenty of time to go try to make the reservations. PM me the dates and times you might want to go in order of priority.

Sorry to take so long, distracted by reality... Our plans changed and we will now be racing you to the front of the line. (don't worry, we will let your daughters cut in front of us!) See you at 10 in the terminal!!

BTW, the reason that fans of other teams do not mention Michigan by name is because mere mortals are prohibited from saying the names of gods else those mortals be stricken dead.

HEY HEY HEY, we Buckeyes don't use that word because our mothers taught us to not swear!!! Besides we are Gator fans as well...this means no one is going to want to play with us doesn't it?? :cheer2:
EDIT:
Okay I posted this twice because my system crashed and thought it failed to go through but I was wrong, I am sorry, but I still not a Michigan fan

You will need to let Rachael in front of you. She is small but scrappy when she wants something. :rotfl: For some reason, she gets in her head that she needs to be the first at everyting. Like today, they got a new sound system at the ice rink. The highlight of her day was NOT that she did really good at her lesson and NOT that she did really good at her power and agility class. The highlight of her day was that she was the first person to use the sound system. Its the simple things in life that keep her happy.

I give one of my employees (an Auburn grad) that same lecture all the time. Funny tho, I've been to every football stadium in the SEC with the exception OF Auburn. (The football Gods smile on my hapless UK Wildcats and don't force us to go there very often....)

Anyone interested in a cabin category tour? We did this on our last cruise - it was kind of fun. We could get volunteers for each category to open their cabin to a tour and let others see what that category of cabin looks like. For example -we're in connecting secret portal rooms. Anyone want to see those rooms? Maybe to know for future cruise room options?

We could schedule it for a sea day. Any thoughts?

Jeff

We would love to see the other cabins. Holly's in particular. We wanted a Navigator...but it was just too many points.

Everyone is welcome to decend to the wrong side of the "castle" and see what life is like with an inside, deck two if they so chose. It really does work for us because all we ever do is sleep there. :dance3:

Sadly at my age, I still have this problem, but I have learned try to be satisfied with second. :rotfl:

Dave just walked in the room, and without any back ground was reading over my shoulder. You should have seen he look on his face. :rotfl2: After I rolled back to to the top he was all excited. (After all I had already warned him I wasn't going to listen to sports, politics or argh pirate: all week-he 'll take two out of three anytime) :rotfl:

There is a picture of us from a prior cruise on Montro's site.

WooHoo! And you're on deck two with us!

OK, for the sake of sports talk.. here's my favorites...
College team - Kentucky
Pro football - Titans
Baseball - CARDINALS bay-bee!!!
Teams I love to hate - Tennessee, Duke
Teams i just hate - Louisville
The anti-Christ - Rick Pitino

(I'd be scared to get the politics part going.....)

Who are you calling mere!!

OK---I feel like I'm trying to read Greek these last couple of pages of sports posts. :confused3 Sports talk goes RIGHT over my head. What does SEC mean anyway? No, that wasn't a joke! I really don't know! :rotfl2: I know, all you sports fans out there are rolling your eyes and laughing out loud.

Got a ton of Mickey paint chips today. Alien green for nametags and lots of other colors for.......I'm not sure yet. Making a cool door sign is out of the question because I have NO idea how to do that, so I'll probably be stuck just having a ton of Mickey head magnets plastered all over our door. Cheesy, I don't have a creative bone in my body. :sad2:

We would love to participate in this as we will be rebooking for my brothers and would like to get an idea as to what each category is. We are booked in a navigators verandah on deck 7 sign us up!

Has everyone gotten their cruise docs? We still haven't received ours and now I'm close to panic mode! I'll be calling our TA, again.

Nope, we don't have ours either. But since I did them online, I'm not worried about it. We're in the computer. It just would have been nice to have something to hold in my hand, but hey, I haven't printed out my docs that I filled out online, so that will work for me! :cool1:

for me..
College team - Utah
Pro team - Nine-ers
Profesional Baseball - Boring waste of time
Teams I love to hate... I won't go there because it will ruffle all your feathers...We'll just say "BS"C I mean BCS.
Soccer - Real Salt Lake and DC United.

Soccer, by the way will be the number one sport in a few short years. Ya all better get up with the times.

OK - I've said my peace and I'll say no more. Talking sports is just about as bad as talking politics.
