OK OK, Im here Holly, LOL lay that guilt on me!! Just finished 4 12s in a row and im beat and its not leaving me any time to shop!!!! Did get some new suitcases, after seeing the 20 million black suitcases to riflle through in customs I figured any color besides black would be good ! We will also be driving and could get you 2 if needed.LOL Bethany took her book of pics to
school yesterday from last year and was showing off Tyler. I think shes going to like younger men  BTW< were in 6012 and 6014, right down the hall :cheer2:

Glad you're still here Heather! :teeth: I didn't ask you guys for a ride because I'm positive there won't be room! FIVE adults, 2 kids, plus at least 7 suitcases? You'd have to use Lionel's duct tape idea! :rotfl2:

I was showing Tyler some of the 4-year old kids he'll get to play with in the kids' club and he said, "Great, but what about my girlfriend Bethany?" :rotfl: I assured him we'd still do stuff with you guys, but that they wouldn't be able to be in the same club anyway because of her age. BUT...THIS TIME I plan on him being in the club LOTS and mom gets some adult time to lay on deck with a book. :cool1: And I reminded him that he'll see her every night at dinner too! :thumbsup2

Please, can someone confirm for my feeble brain what time we're trying to meet up in the promande lounge on Saturday? Is it 2 or 2:30? I meant to note it in my calendar and never did...

Also, here's a dumb question, but for the mickey paint chip name tags, do you bring a roll of tape to stick them to your tshirt with or is there a better way??

I think someone asked about pirate clothes for DH- I made mine a red/white stripped sort of ragged vest to wear over a plain white t and he'll have a bandana and call it done. You could always just get a cool POTC tshirt (they're all over the disney stores and probably elsewhere as well) and let him call that a pirate outfit. Add an eyepatch maybe? pirate:

I guess that's all from me (for now!)

2:30, Promenade Lounge, Saturday.

Double sided tape. Don't need to bring a roll, just put it on the back of the tag, and when you're ready to put it on your shirt, take the other paper backing off the tape. That reminded me I still need to get our Mickey paint chips. We're off to Home Depot today! :goodvibes

Well you would be the 6th adult but we could do it somewhow. The 7 suitcases for all of us, nah those are just mine LOL We may end up taking 2 cars anyway but I heard parking went up there. Went to talk to bethies teacher about missing school for 4 days and she said "NO problem Ill have her work together as long as you take me!"
They wont be in the same club but we can watch them get down on the dance floor again. Bethany has been practicing her "dance" moves
This time im grabbing you up for pub night !!! You missed it last year ! :cool1:

Oh, I know! A fellow co-worker brought in a video of pub night and I was CRACKING up! It's just like you described it....TOO FUNNY! I definitely plan on seeing that!

I told Tyler Bethany was practicing dancing and he says, "Mom, I already KNOW how to dance from last time" and gave me the eye roll! Well, excuse me!

My wife is concerned that there won't be any playmates for her 51 year old DH. He normally plays well with others, and she's just wondering if anyone is bringing someone who will talk sports, have an occasional grog of rum and run around the deck going "Arggggggggg" a lot? pirate:

have a few questions of the DCL veterans.

Someone (maybe it was Courtney) said they were bringing their two way radios. Do those work well? Will they work in the various ports? We have only used ours at local festivals. Since we now both have cell phones, it was easier to just call but with no service….

I forgot about the Palo reservations till it was almost too late on the 90th day. The only thing I could get was dinner the first night at 730. I really hate this…I want to meet our table mates. Will I still be able to make the early show and Palo? I want to get nice table mates and if we aren’t there the first night we will be assigned to the wackos everyone else complains about on the cruise board? We won’t get to the ship until 2 - do you think I can get different Palo reservations that late? The only thing I really want to try is the soufflé. Can I just order that from the Palo bar??

We are having a cake brought the second night (formal) night to celebrate Dave’s birthday and the third night to honor our 20th anniversary. Have I crammed all the wrong things on all the wrong days :confused3

Robin and Dave

Robin...

Tom and I ALWAYS do Palo on the first night! We did skip Christmas Eve, as well...it was Christmas Eve. Anyway...we love it up there on the first night as it is predominantly crew and cast members! Things are more relaxed and the service tends to be in abundance. We have done other nights early on in our DCL history...but we have found that this is our favorite! We usually skip the show though...but the really good ones are later in the week. Do you have early or late seating?? You can always go down before or after, introduce yourselves...everybody understands an evening at Palo's!!!

Good luck.
By the way...what happened yesterday...I am still trying to catch up on posts! WOW!

Do we have to talk Kentucky? Atleast they are in the SEC. With a little rum in me I might even like them. But I doubt it. Go Dawgs

We could always talk about the #1 ranked team in the nation, but then we would be talking about the BIG TEN. (or eleven but we had been sipping rum while we were counting)

GO BUCKS!!

How many points is an obnoxious number of points?

Who is leaving early to visit WDW prior to the cruise? We are out of here in four days!!

And what's up with this budding tropical storm Debby?? Everyone throw pixie dust at it, or rum...am I rambling???

I always did like that basketball program at UK. But being a Buckeye makes it difficult to pull for any team that says "Go Blue". (You know that team from up North) We really don't mention them by name.

Yeah, I'm actually missing the first game of football season, as we go to Louisville. Guess I can watch it on the ship as ESPN has it.

I still haven't informed my wife that we just happen to be flying back into Lexington after the cruise, and just happen to land on a football Saturday!

Best thing about UK basketball these days is Ashley Judd. Ever see that poster she did for the UK Hockey team? Hubba-hubba!!! :cheer2:

(Second best thing is that that bas...er.... really nice fellow Rick Pitino is at Louisville....)

Speaking of the BIG 10 (11) thanks for reminding me to check the NU game schedule. Fortunately we don't play while we're at sea- b/c as usual we can't count on being televised, esp. on plain old ABC or ESPN. We've been known to get College Game day to satisfy our cravings. Seems easier with two little ones than going to a sports bar :)

Never too late for pictures...

Wow :boat: time is really flying! Between trying to get our 3 days at WDW before the cruise planned out and everything else, I think I never sent in a photo! Monstro, can you PM me your email?

What's this about a tropical storm somewhere? go away! go away! pixiedust:

So what's the plan for the cruise meet on Saturday? Will everyone be
sporting their HD paint chips?! Are folks supposed to bring anything special?

Consider it done.

Anyone interested in a cabin category tour? We did this on our last cruise - it was kind of fun. We could get volunteers for each category to open their cabin to a tour and let others see what that category of cabin looks like. For example -we're in connecting secret portal rooms. Anyone want to see those rooms? Maybe to know for future cruise room options?

We could schedule it for a sea day. Any thoughts?

I got away one day to go to a mediation and everyone gets nuts with the postings.

BTW, the reason that fans of other teams do not mention Michigan by name is because mere mortals are prohibited from saying the names of gods else those mortals be stricken dead.

ABSOLUTELY! I'm considering a secret porthole for my next Dis cruise, whenever that may be, but I'm extremely claustrophobic, so it would help to see exactly what it's like. I've seen the pictures of it, but that's just not the same as being inside to see if there's enough outside light coming in.

We only have a Navigator's verandah this time, which I HATE. I tried to get one of the 4 obstructed verandah's, which I had last time and LOVED, but they were all taken when I booked last September. So my TA gave me the room next door. Not thinking clearly, I didn't realize it's a Navigator's verandah until THIS MONTH. I will be checking for upgrades at the port if the price is reasonable. The Navigator's verandah on the Wonder is tolerable because it's a large oval, but on the Magic it's a smaller circle opening, so I'm sure I won't like it. Bummer. BUT it's better than not being on the ship at all, so you won't hear me griping much.

I haven't heard about the tropical storm yet. But I was just commenting to a friend that there has been such little activity in that regard, that it would be just my luck for something to come up around cruise time. Thank goodness for trip insurance!

BRIAN: Now look who's rambling! Hmmm....maybe we broke into the rum a tad early?! Kidding! No hard stuff for me, but I'm thinking a beer sounds like a good idea right about now! Off to the fridge I go! :Pinkbounc

Hey hey hey, Buckeyes don't say that word because our mothers taught us not to swear!
