I am back - MK was crazy - worse than last year - no idea why.

ok on another topic - t shirts - I would like to be in charge of tshirt production!

once we get an idea of what we would like:
I plan to use the internet and local companies for pricing. I will only charge what our costs are and shipping.
If you want to avoid shipping I live in Orlando and am willing to meet you at WDW to deliver shirts. I will not sell to ebay or advertise I am selling tshirts other than on this thread.

Well going to sign off. We are driving to Philly early in the morning. DS is playing college hockey tomorrow and we are going to spend the night down there. I can't remember if I could use my laptop the last time we stayed in Philly and if I can't then I may not be back here until Monday. I'm sure you guys will give me plenty to read when I get back!

I talked to Mark today while in chat. I nay have to send our information to Cindy when I get back too. I don't know if we're already on the list or not.

Yeah, Cheryl!! Way to go with the t-shirt offer. Whatever everyone decides will be fine with me. The design is probably the toughest part. Several have mentioned cafepress and zazzle. That might make things a bit easier.

I'll start off with one (from my side of the badge). Several years ago I was working traffic and was having generally a lousy day. As anyone who works this career will tell you, an officer CANNOT let his emotions intrude upon how he/she does their job. (Yea right, and we all know an elephant can fly, hmmm). Anyway, working traffic and having a lousy day, needless to say I was a tad grumpy. I clocked a car on RADAR doing well over the posted limit and proceeded to pull over the driver. I approached, asked for license, registration and proof of insurance in stereotypical manner and once provided with the documents proceeded on the standard you were speeding lecture. The driver was very sheepish and apologetic, however with my mood the way it was the idea of a warning never entered my mind. That it until I returned to the patrol car and was examining the driver’s paperwork, for some reason they had and slipped the orange “Get Out of Jail Free” card from Monopoly in there. Giving the devil his due, when I stopped laughing and finally finished the radio traffic I gave the warning. Anyone who has the “cajones” or whatever to pull that can get the break. Of course I DO NOT recommend this action, as you know some of my brothers and sister is blue & brown have had their sense of humor surgically removed. Stay between the yellow and the white lines and drive safely.

Only 35 pages??? That's nothing. We can do 35 pages in an hour when we're on a roll.

Just thought I'd intro myself as I've not posted here before. My name is Ilene and I live south of Boston with my DH of 25 yrs and 2 adult children. Also two terrific schnoodles pups. We are "seasoned" disneyites and I have been a member of Disneydollarless since near it's inception. I've been on these boards awhile too but not very active. I'm am thrilled to be able to join the rest of you on this new member cruise. I had so wanted to do it this year but it was DD first week at college and I knew I needed to be nearby if she needed me, and it turned out she did so I'm glad I didn't chance it. Cheryl - I think that it's great that you're going to take on the t-shirt project. I really think that it might be a better thing to go through cafepress or zazzle to get our design onto t-shirts. Then, no one has to deal with delivering tshirts, not getting payment for tshirts ordered, etc. Once we have a design, you can upload it to one of those companies, then, everyone can order what they want and have it shipped directly to them. And, if we decide to use cafepress, I do have a friend that works for them, so I might be able to get some more info about it. PM me if you need any help.

Also, another idea for the tshirts that we did on one of the cruisetoberfest cruises. Someone created a logo, then just emailed the image to everyone. Then, each person just printed the logo onto transfer paper and made the t-shirts themselves at home. Not as professional of a look, but another option.

Yes I'm yelling because this is our 1st DVC cruise as members.

We were on the Wonder back in 2000.
I Can't wait to get acquainted with everyone else who are going too.
We just got back from SSR last week for Thanksgiving.

oh and to Kerlynne when we were on the Wonder in 2000 we had room 2116 and it was awesome. Great location I might add.

Cheryl thanks for doing the shirts. I say do what is easiest for you. Maybe we can have one official shirt and then if someone wants to make another logo that we can put on ourselves and have many shirts.

I think I am going to bed and get caught up on the last few episodes of ER that we taped. I'll be asleep in no time.
