Robin thanks for the "music". I needed that this morning.

I left chat around 10pm and was the last to leave the room. I went to bed shortly after. My back is killing me! I don't know if this is related to the pneumonia or not but I can hardly walk. I took some motrin and if it's still bothering me on Tuesday, I'll go back to the doctor. This has not been a good year (health-wise) for my family!

Seven weeks from today we will be at the airport waiting to board a plane to MCO! I can't wait for this trip. I'm getting very excited!

Ouchy! Boy I hope your feeling better soon.
Maybe the back is connected to the pnemonia if you are doing a lot of coughing maybe you pulled a muscle.

Good morning everyone!! I'm getting a late start this morning and it feels very odd. I stayed up late working on a project for my scrapbook trip next week, so I ended up sleeping in. Sleeping in isn't normally in my vocabulary, since the girls are usually up at 7am. But, since they are at grandma's house, it was quiet, quiet, quiet this morning. Chris should be home with Madison later today, though. Emily is going to stay through Monday.

I'll just continue to work on projects for next week all weekend, along with some house stuff once Chris gets home.

I can't believe that it's only 7 weeks to go!!! So much to do before now and then, so I'm sure that the time is just going to fly. Which is good of course, since we've been waiting for this for a year now, since it was announced on SSMC05.

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Glad you got a little extra R&R.
I wish I could say the same. Knock on wood Nick was never and early riser but the crazy furballs have this thing about wanting b-fast at 5am!!
They make a heck of a racket too if you don't get up and feed them. :cat:

Morning all! :wave2:

We're off and running for our busy weekend. :car:

Your post telling about your plans this weekend made me tired just reading about never mind doing it. :crazy2:
Hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Cindy & Mary....have fun this weekend! I want to hear about Lt. Dan and the band. I was soooo hoping that Gary Sinise would be at WDW when we're there in Dec. for the Candlelight Processional, but no luck. I've been a Gary Sinise fan since I saw him on TV in "The Stand."

Mary - we had the pleasure of seeing him do CP after our December 04 cruise. He was great. I've also had the pleasure of being at Wrigley Field when he did the 7th inning stretch.

I have an off-topic question. Will there be a formal night on the cruise (like with regular cruises) or just casual, semi-formal? I need to know so that I pack the right clothes and still have room for all the goodies, costumes for MNSSHP etc.

Jacqui

Jacqui - the Wonder cruises usually have what they call a dress-up night but not a true formal night where you would see gowns and tuxes. I don't think our cruise would be any different.

I think BBQ ribs on Monday will be the order of the day!

Steve (and Tina) we're seeing Gary Sinise in Schaumburg Saturday night. Want to join us? Of course trying to find each other could be a chore. Just look for the booth where Cindy is selling DCL lotion at $2 a packet.

Mary,

Thanks for the offer, but we are headed up to the boat for the long weekend. I would have loved to go! Oh well next time. But I have an invite for anyone else...Sunday afternoon, Winthrop Harbor Marina(i'll give directions for anyone who wants to come), bonfire, BBQ, drinks, lots of fun! Anyone interested let me know, we are leaving around 630pm Saturday! If not have a great weekend!

Curt, not real sure on the rules, but I have points that I borrowed in from 07 and havent used yet, I'd be willing to help you out. I'm not sure if they can be transferred? :confused3

Thanks for the offer Curt, but then I'd have to get a MP3 player.

Maybe after the cruise when Christmas rolls around. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

Winthrop Harbor Marina --- this world gets smaller and smaller with almost every post. We spent many days up there on my sister & brother-in-laws boat.

Tina, what kind of boat do you have?

Well, no new explorer for us! Trade in on our truck was not what we wanted. We even went fair to poor from the kelly blue book and the dealer was still under by at least $1000. We are pretty cut and dry people so we walked. No big deal! When the right thing comes along we will get it. I would think the car dealers are hungrier to get their 2006 SUV's sold than we are to buy one.

Borrowed points can't be transferred.

We are back from visit #1 for our Septemberfest weekend events. The kids rode the rides, played some games and we had lunch. It made me appreciate Disney all the more. For what it cost us, we could have bought 1 day passes for Cameron & Walker and accomplished a whole lot more. ::yes:: The kids had fun and brought home tons of trinkets that will most likely end up in next weeks trash -- along with 3 new goldfish for the fish tank. :fish: :fish: :fish: I will say that one game the kids played, I didn't even realize it until later that the lady working the event didn't give me my $16 change. By the time I went back, she had gone on break. Bad for me, I assumed she had lunch money but when I hunted her down afterwards, she did give me my change. :thumbsup2

It's already busy over there and we took our blanket and laid it out in prep for our evening with Mark & Mary. Everyone I ran into said that Gary Sinisi is a big draw event so it's going to be crowded tonight.

We are going boating tomorrow with my sister and her family. Supposed to be in the 90's so it should be a good day for it! Then a BBQ at Mom's house. We will drink our sorrows away!;) :car:

I hope you got close enough to take some PICS :teeth:

Tom said the same thing to me about it being a muscle spasm! I haven't been too bad with coughing during the day but once I lay down at night (even with the two meds to control the cough) I can't stop ad it wakes me out of a sound sleep. Tom also said he has the cure - a DVC cruise and vacation! I'm glad I have a refillable prescription (at least until 2042 for BCV and 2054 for SSR) . :rotfl2:

One year ago at this date and time Mark and I were on our way from TN to WDW on our way to SSMC05! The car was packed with not only our stuff but Cindy's Mrs. Lips box and we were excited to be heading to the cruise!

Now in just 7 weeks we'll be making that same trip! Actually 7 weeks from today we should be waking up at BWV.

The DIS meet will be 7 weeks from today!

I reminded Tom of this earlier today. At first he said he wishes we were there now. It's chilly and raw here today. It sure would be nice to live in a warmer climate year-round!

Roxann - don't be surprised if you get some phone calls from the different dealerships you went to. They need to make their quota for the month of August and they have until September 4 to do so. If they don't get a lot of people in the showroom between today and tomorrow they will be calling people back so that they make their numbers.
