2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006 Part 3

Karen (OM) - sad to hear you won't be joining us but totally understand. Mark will miss having dinner with his smoothie son and the rest of the family. Good news is we still have the do-over cruise - right? Anyone who wants to join us we're looking at a 7 day Eastern in early June 2008.

HUH? I'm sending Nick. Just KT and I aren't going!! You have an extra bed in your stateroom, right?

Yes, as far as I know, we have the do-over. Waiting with bated breath to see when exactly and where it goes. But whatever, I'm sailing with Mary!

Morning all

Very strange day around here. I have 3 daycare kids out on vacation, 1 is leaving before noon and 1 is leaving around 3. So, by late afternoon, it will be just me & Walker.

We're heading off to the little farm by us this morning --- because we haven't been there enough lately. Walker loves the little chickens and catching them is a thrill in itself. Once all the kids are gone, I'm hoping the weather is nice enough to take Walker over to the pool. Not the little pool by my house, the bigger pool with the diving board, drop slide and 16' of water. My little fish enjoys everything the bigger kids enjoy --- I truly believe he thinks he's 10 and not 6.

Walker has a little friend down the block with a big swimming pool in his yard. The little boy doesn't go in it much as he's afraid. We were just down there last night and the Mom said she's hoping that Walker might inspire his little friend to become more of a water hound. Walker definately has no fears.

Weather is beautiful where Cameron's camping today. I hope he has a fun last day at camp and we're looking forward to him coming home tomorrow late afternoon. If he gets home early enough, we'll head straight to his baseball playoff game. I'm sure after a week of camping he'll be more than ready to play a big game. He'll probably sleep all next week to make up for lost time!

Busy day here: Today's my day for carpooling the girls to soccer camp and pick them up in the afternoon. I'm sure they will want to stop and get ice cream on the way home.
Sometime during the day, we need to meet John's parents at Costco and then take some of the things we don't have room in our car, so they can take it to the cabin for us. Going on vacation is is the only time I miss having my van - can't really pack too much in the trunk of a Grand Prix! I'm guessing it would be a good thing to finish the laundry and get the 3 of us packed to go for the week since we are leaving in the morning.

I'll check in tonight before I leave - oh, who am I kidding, I'm sure I will be checking in through out the day while I'm washing clothes and packing

Wow, it's quiet around here today. I guess everyone is leaving for the weekend. Not us, we're staying around here. We have a birthday party tomorrow for Cassie. Sunday we're just going to church and spending time at home doing "stuff" around the house. Monday we're going to Chris's mom's house in Lakeland (about 45 min away) and then on the 4th we're just going to a local party.

All I know is nasty weather was heading their way so they packed up a night early. They'll be home between 8:30 & 10:30.

Must have been a lot of cancellations today because our waitlist came through too!!

We are now staying at BWV Friday and Saturday before the cruise instead of SSR!! And we'll be at BCV Thurs and Friday after, which is exactly what I wanted!
