I agree, very quiet around here today. I spent today running errands. I had 2 coupons for different craft stores, so of course, I had to use them. One for Michael's and one for Crafts-n-Stuff. I had lunch with Chris at Chili's (I love their salads). And, then a nap for Madison and pick Emily up from school. Then, we headed to 2 different Publix stores to find the pre-rolled and pre-cut Easter cookies for Emily's preschool class. They are having their Easter party on Thursday and I'm in charge of bringing plain cookies for the kids to decorate.

Did you find them? I was at Walmart earlier and they had them there. :rolleyes1

It is very quiet. I've had a busy day and I'm exhausted. I'm hosting an Easter Egg Hunt at my house. (Once again, PLEASE tell me to stop volunteering for this stuff!!!) So after I got home from the gym, I spent most of the day outside picking up the dogs "presents" so the kids don't mistake those for eggs. :scared: And I had to get all the outside chairs out there and cleaned up. Now I have to clean the house too!

Thankfully, YES, I did find them at the 2nd Publix. I was cringing inside, but I was thinking that my next stop was going to be the Super Walmart for those stinkin' cookies.

You are crazy for volunteering for an Easter Egg hunt. What were you thinking????? Just teasin', just think I'm sure the girls are going to have a BLAST, along with all the other kids.

Diana & Karen - I got the "you shouldn't be eating that" talk Saturday night when I ate a small piece of birthday cake. Stupid pancreas!

Mary - I didn't know that you were Diabetic, as well. Now we'll have to get three "Stupid Pancreas" shirts! Instead of the Diabetic Duo, we can be the Tasty Treat Trio! :rotfl:

We missed the Expedition Everest show on the Travel Channel last night! I forgot all about the stupid thing. I've searched to see when it's on again, but no-go. I won't forget about the one on the Discovery Channel, though!

Darn Darn Darn! :furious:

I did errands today too! Went Grocery shopping, 2 loads of laundry, dishes, and picked up the finished class auction project for my DD's 3rd grade class. I took it to school so all the kids could see it!

I went to Kohl's (1st time/Grand Opening). Anyway, I got a $10 gift card in the mail and used it towards DD's Easter Basket. So, far I have spent $5 on her Easter Basket from the Dollar store and everything from Kohl's was free. I will pick up Disney Dollars, a new chapter book and the new Bratz DVD (coming out tomorrow). The basket will be complete!

Yep was diagnosed as type II last June. I guess Gail was helping me out when she ate my creme brulee. :) When I was first diagnosed I got it under control pretty fast with diet and exercise, but then kind of fell off the wagon. So my numbers are a bit higher than they should be and I need to get back to walking each morning and watching what I eat. My control is one 2.5mg pill a day of Glyburide.

Cindy - any word from school on the Humpty Dumpty test?

:rockband: Drum roll please!! :rockband:

12 out of 13 eggs survived the drop. The teacher said she thought it was because of the distance they had to travel (or lack of) that helped their effort. She said the packaging was amazing! Walker said he was the only one who used styrofoam -- a lot used bubblewrap and 1 boy even used diapers!

The one that broke was wrapped in foil. Of course, that's who I felt sorry for when I heard -- the one boy who's egg broke.

OMG You kill me! :lmao:

I'll have to check the DVR to make sure it recorded, but if it's not going to be shown again, I can burn it to DVD for anyone who wants a copy. :thumbsup2 It'll cost you though.....candy, cookies, chocolate..... :lmao:

Yeah for Walker and his egg! Did he celebrate by breaking it on his forehead like yesterday. :lmao: I'd feel sorry for the little boy who owned the egg that broke.

WOW, that's amazing. We did that experiment in high school physics but we dropped it off a 4 story roof. I have no clue how many eggs were dropped, but I remember none survived. :lmao: We had teams come up with ideas and all I remember was my team had some sort of parachute with a basket with the egg in it type contraption. The chute didn't open quickly enough and splat.....scrambled. :lmao:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Congrats to Walker!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

That's awesome that almost all of the eggs didn't break. We never did that experiment, but I think that it would be fun to try.

I haven't seen the EE show yet, but I did record it. I'm waiting for my mom to come over and watch it with me. But, I did see that guy with the earring on something else. He is bizarre, that's for sure!!

Hey everyone!

I am back from my work trip. I see you were busy, I had alot of pages of posts to read and catch up on. Now that I'm done with them all, I decided to let ya all know that I made it back in one piece, but I'm tired, so I'm going to make this short and sweet!
