Wow! Only 28 weeks to go. I can't wait but since it's only 6 weeks until I'm back "home" at BCV I'm really excited for that!

Don't forget to watch the Expedition Everest special on the Travel Channel tonight at 8pm.

Now don't go thinking I'm saying LG is bad either. It may just be some setting that can be changed to get a shorter wash. That's always been their one difference; they wind up having some feature that may seem like a problem, but is just misunderstood. The Goldstars were like that too, nice functional equipment but some odd features.

I know you're just bashing my LG! :lmao: You are probably right about the timing and why my wash is always around 55 minutes. I do have it set on High soil. With 2 kids under 3, all our clothes are quite soiled at the end of the day! :lmao: I haven't tried to change the soil level and I bet that will change the timing. I have about 4 loads to do today because I didn't do any yesterday. I'll try a different soil level and report back! But I do know my loads dry in about 20 minutes, so what you are saying is totally right on!

I do have to say I do love the compartment for all the different soaps and stuff. And I love even more that after I put in the bleach, softener and detergent it washes the whole thing out for me!

Thanks! I'll have to set my DVR. I haven't watched the West Wing in a while, but it looks like tonight is the episode where Leo dies.

Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 28 weeks!

Woo Hoo ! We are another week closer to cruising!
party:

I LOVE when you post this every week! :woohoo:

We are thinking about other options before and after the cruise. Instead of just the Disney parks we are thinking Typhoon and/or Blizzard. Is the weather okay for water parks in late October?

We were thinking about Universal/IOA or Seaworld. Would 3 days be too many for Seaworld? DD will be too short for the Big Coasters @ all the parks by 2". Would you wait until your child was tall enough for all the rides? She really likes coasters and I think would be dissapointed if she could not do Hulk @ IOA. Any thoughts? Would it be better to stay on Universal Property if you are doing their parks? If we don't go this year there are many more years ahead. Just wanting some feedback from others.

Hey!

If you are planning on doing US/IOA, definately stay on property! The FOTL access is incredible! DD and I did Mummy 5 times in a row with no wait! Kept running into the same people in the other line up!LOL

Have fun whatever you guys plan!

It was the cliffhanger to the last episode Diana. One of the campaining people go into his apartment and the last thing you hear is her shouting LEO!! and calling the ss people in.

We just got back from a wonderful afternoon with Cindy, Gary, Cameron & Walker! We got together so I could pass on Cheryl & Amy's circle journals from SSMC05. Gary did a great job at the grill and we had very nice lunch of burgers, hot dogs and chicken. We even got to help Walker out with his egg drop project by bringing some styrofoam from our washer/dryer risers.

All in all a fun day with great people!

Glad that you all had such a GREAT day!!! Too bad that we weren't there to partake in the activities!!! Some day!!!

Anyone going to be in DVC chat tonight??? I'll probably be there for a little while to see if anyone comes to chat.

Amy - I plan on being in chat!

BTW - forgot to add. After visiting Cindy's house I wish I was a little girl. I would love it there! Her daycare room is a child's dream and I swear outside she has every Little Tikes toy there is! Her daycare kids are very lucky!

I'll be there for sure Amy - it's one of my favorite Chat nights!

I was in chat for all of 5 minutes. First it was really slow....but then it got all locked up and I got kicked out. Then I couldn't get back in. I didn't feel like messing with it any more. Sorry guys!!

Don't feel bad, I only lasted a few more minutes than you did. It was just WAY too slow for me!

And I know what all you guys are thinking---doesn't Diana have diabetes??? Why is she talking about all this candy she eats?? Stupid pancreas. :lmao:

Diana - Doesn't it drive you nuts when somebody jumps all over you for eating something you "shouldn't"? :furious: Grrr... Walk a mile in my shoes. (Tevas for me, instead of Crocs. :sunny: )

I'm sorry that I missed the candy discussion. I'm a minority - I love Cadbury eggs!!! And malted milk balls. Yum! :lovestruc

Stupid pancreas! Wonderful insulin pump!

No chat for me last night. I was busy cleaning up the mess Mary made of all the daycare toys. Just kidding.

We had a nice, relaxing afternoon -- even if my 6 year old was not on the best behavior. After Mark & Mary left, we went outside to sit by the fire that Walker insisted we light for Mark & Mary before they left. We we sat outside -- enjoying our nicer days. Walker & I read some books and then we all came inside to watch the Expedition Everest special. Being it continues tonight, I know I"ll never see the end of it. It was kind of interesting.

Glad I didn't attempt chat -- I hate when it's slow and doesn't work.

It's going to be a long day but hopefully a short week. Neither one of my kids slept well. Walker started with a bad cough and Cameron just couldn't sleep -- normally he sleeps like a rock. I'm sure getting both of them up for school this morning is going to be like pulling teeth.

Have a good day, everyone! Looks like it's going to be another nice one around here. :sunny: We're predicted with a high about 70! :Pinkbounc

Good morning all!

Cindy you promised you wouldn't talk about the mess I made with all the toys :lmao:

I had a feeling you wouldn't be in chat because you were spending time with the family. I took you away from Walker too long.

I think the weekend was catching up with me last night. As soon as I logged out of chat I went to bed. We taped the Expedition Everest show and I watched part of it before heading off to bed.

I did manage to watch the West Wing and can't wait for next week's episode.

Mary, you didn't take me away from Walker too long. It's just that Walker doesn't like to share him Mommy. Even though he's 6, he's still immature when it comes to Mommy & Walker time. I thought he had grown out of a lot of that -- but he threw me for a loop earlier this week when he started to cry and say he didn't want me to go to a meeting I had to go to Tuesday night. Sometimes I wonder if it has to do with growth spurts or learning new things.

As rough and tough as Walker can be at time, he still has a lot of growing in that way.

Don't take it personally, it's not you. It would be the same with anyone. Maybe a part of it is that he shares me all day long with the daycare kids -- but he's done that all of his life. And, he knows that your not a daycare kid.

After all, the daycare kids clean up after themselves! ;) :lmao: :lmao:

I will say that Gary enjoying watching the race with Mark all afternoon. Gary didn't even have to hide in the bedroom to see it -- in between doing many other things. Although he did get sidetracked a little bit when you asked him about cutting the styrofoam for the Humpty Dumpty Egg.

Which, by the way, the test egg survived it's fall from the top of our monkey bars. :thumbsup2

Croc fans - I keep forgetting to post that I saw a big display of Crocs when I went into the local Hallmark store last week - wow there was a lot of different colors - the clerk there and I started talking about them. Must have been a slow day in the card store.

Long weekend for me - but at least the weather is finally warming up.

I did manage to get a decent price for a plane ressie for my May trip to WDW - decided to fly for a change - we'll see how this goes. Planes do tend to make me somewhat nervous but it will be a quick trip this time but at least I'll finally get my fix - a few days at SSR and then over to OKW for a few. Can't wait!

Hi all - quiet here today!

Mary - congrats on booking your flights for your May trip. I know you will have a great time at WDW.

Cindy - any word from school on the Humpty Dumpty test?

Diana & Karen - I got the "you shouldn't be eating that" talk Saturday night when I ate a small piece of birthday cake. Stupid pancreas!
