Amy - thanks for the reminder! We also booked Boardwalk and are waitlisted BCV.

Did everyone cruising on points do their insurance through the DVC company? That's our only option right?

No problem, Julie!! Hopefully we'll both get BCV, but I figure that BWV is just as good for the one night!

We haven't done insurance yet. We booked 1 adult/1 child with points and 1 adult/1 child with cash, so I don't know what to do.

Mike and I are flying in friday before the cruise. We are going to stay at BW or Yaht and Beach. (Not using points) Then a night after the cruise too.

Last year we bought insurance from Trip a sure. Flight,hotel and cruise. You just have to guess at the price of the cruise.

Olaf last year we needed a car for the weekend before the cruise and the weekend after. We found in checking rates that it was cheaper to rent for the whole 10 days & pay for parking at the port than it was to rent for each seperate weekend. If you are dropping the car off the day of the cruise, catching the shuttle to the Port is very simple and usually pretty quick.

We are also staying on site at WDW before and after the cruise. Not sure where we are staying at this time - I will look into it later next week.

Gail, you are such a procrastinator. What's the matter with doing it this week. Something like a littel trip to WDW getting in the way?

We have no idea what we are doing pre-cruise or post-cruise. I will think about that in another week.

It looks like all four of us are traveling to WDW tomorrow!!!!

Actually, I'm prolonging the agony of finding out how many or should I say how few points I have left If only John would agree to buying more points - then we might not have this problem of always running out of points

Well, just a couple more things to go and we're all set. Everyone else is packed and I did pack for the kids, so doesn't that count for something?

I will be packed by 7:30 tomorrow when the limo shows up.

Yay Cindy and Gary!! I was so hoping he'd get to come! Can't wait to see all FOUR of you on Sunday!

I just called MS and got a studio at OKW for the Saturday before. It's the only onsite DVC that we haven't stayed at, so I thought this would be a good time to try it out. I'm going to call next week and try to get a room for after the cruise at BCV or BWV.
