Well, it's very quiet around here!!! We're getting packed up tonight to head to WDW a little early. Chris got tomorrow off, since he worked so much this past weekend. So, we decided to head to WDW for the first part of tomorrow. Then, we're back to Lakeland for our college homecoming dinner & fireworks tomorrow night. Then, after lunch and a visit to my sorority house, we'll head back to WDW for the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday.

The way I figure is that if I purchase the insurance nothing will happen :Pinkbounc but if I don't then we might be at risk.

Thanks for the info Cinderelly. I've been known to play the "buy insurance to insure nothing happens" game too.

party: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY party:

I am traveling to Memphis and wont be online all weekend. Wishing everyone a great weekend.

Okay, I think Ian is ready for this cruise. He found David's cup collection and the "Junkanoo" 1/2 yard from our first cruise.

I will definitely be planning to drive down for the cruise so if my friends in Michigan need stuff to come home I will have plenty of room in the car since most of my trip is solo this time.

Well, that may come in handy! And you're in Westland, right? Very handy, indeed! :teeth:

I know that I missed everybody(?) that's headed "Home", but I really hope that you all had a safe trip, and that you'll have lots of fun! :mickeyjum
(And YAY! for Cindy and Gary!!! :yay: )

We have definitely decided not to do the Med. It was not any easy decision, however. I have always wanted to see Pompeii, and Curt is fascinated by the Count of Monte Cristo - the 10 night would have been perfect for us. Alas, the price is not perfect for us. <sigh> :sad2:

Plus, it looks as if we'll be cancelling the Double Dip that we have booked for September. Two cruises within a month of one another seems awfully extravagant for us. And I'll have at least one class with a lab next semester. Miss a lecture - no big thing. Miss a lab - not so good. Since I'll already be missing one lab for SSMC06, I probably shouldn't press my luck.

So... We'll have to have twice as much fun on SSMC06 to make-up for our "lost" cruise! And I'm counting on all of you to help make that possible! Don't let me down, friends! party:

We've never bothered with trip insurance. With my Diabetes, the pre-existing clauses make it seem not worthwhile. I imagine one day our vacationing luck will turn for the worst, and we'll be wishing we had it. Stupid pancreas.

Can anybody use a free child's admission to Shaggy Dog? I realize that everybody got one in their Lady and the Tramp, but some of you have more than one child, so I was hoping that someone may be able to give it a good home... :dog:

Just pm me if you're interested. :)

Not a problem! I'm sure that we can accomodate that request.

Ok, I'm up this early because we are off to WDW. See everyone later!!!

Thanks for the birthday greetings.

Amy - have fun at WDW. Be sure and take a picture or two at the mini-meet.

Karen - insurance helps with things like weather that can effect the cruise as well. We don't get it for our WDW trips but do for the cruises. If something happens out of your control at least you get some help. Especially since the cruise is still in hurricane season.

Something to think about.

If you are looking for a cruise that will be full of fun I think SSMC06 is the right choice. With such a great group of DISers and all the fun that DVC has planned for us I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I think you and I should get "Stupid pancreas" shirts made up! :lmao: I never heard anyone else even make reference to their pancreas before. I'm always saying that with people going HUH? Pancreas?? You have problems with sugar? There's something wrong with your pancreas too? :confused3 :headache:
