Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 42 weeks!

:jumping1: Happy New Year!! :jumping1:

My house is trashed! :faint: That will teach me to invite kids to a New Years Party. I can't see the floor in my family room or basement. We had a great time though. Out of the 12 kids we had, only 2 made it til midnight. Both of mine were passed out by 10, which explains this terrible headache I have this morning! :drinking1 :headache:

That is the sweetest thing I've heard so far this year....... We cruise THIS Year!!!!

Quiet day on the thread. Everyone must either be celebrating the new year or sleeping off last nights celebration. :rotfl2:

We had a quiet morning sleeping in since we went to Mass last night. Then this afternoon went out to Woodridge and had a nice dinner with Mark's aunt and uncle. First time we've ever gotten to spend time with just them and it was nice. We went to White Fence Farm for chicken...yummmmmmm! Cindy have you ever been there. Really good food and it neat place with lots of antiques etc.

Mark goes back to work tomorrow but I have one more day off.

I agree Mary, it has been quiet. I've spent most of this afternoon cleaning up my office/scrapbook room. It's still a disaster, but I'm making small victories. I'm hoping that if I spend a couple hours each day this week, then maybe I can get it all clean. Then, I can get some scrapbooking done.

Emily goes back to school tomorrow. But, Chris has the day off tomorrow. I'm definitely hoping to get some more stuff done in the office. Chris needs to get our bar sink fixed, so that when the installers come on Tuesday, it's all ready to go.

I had a blast though. To get into Epcot that day were were in line for the International gateway and were Standing just before the bridge from the Yacht Club to the Dolphin & Swan. They had CM walking up and down the line telling people that if you did not already have a ticket and were an on property guest the park was closed, and this was at like 9:30 in the morning.

We were on line with you. I remember walking out of the Boardwalk at 8:30am and looking across the lagoon. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the line all the way past the dock. By the time the boat got us across, the line was to the end of the Yacht Club. We didn't get into EPCOT until 10:30.

OK, I have a funny story about Y2K NYE. We decided at the last minute that we wanted to go to WDW for the celebration. In the morning, we got in the car and started driving over. As we're driving, we see a sign that says Magic Kingdom closed. We call on the cell phone and find out that the only park open is MGM. So, we drive there and they are parking us at the Blizzard Beach parking lot. We get on the bus to go over and the bus driver reminds everyone that they already need to have their tickets, because they are not selling tickets anymore. Well, at the time, we only had FL resident seasonal passes, so we were in our black-out dates. So, we take the bus back to our car to figure out what to do.

We find a CM that tells us to drive over to Coronado Springs and buy our 1-day ticket from Guest Relations. So, we go over there and the GR person says that he can sell us the ticket, but the parks are closed for the day. We say fine, because we're going to try anyway. We drive back to Blizzard Beach, park and ride the bus to MGM. We didn't have ANY problems getting in with our 1-day tickets.

We had a great time! It was crowded, but at least we were doing something for Y2K. The only downside was that drive home.

I'm going to try to be there. I'm still cleaning my scrap room, but I'll try to chat at the same time!
