Stacy,
Tell them to look for the short mid-50ish woman with the DVC bag and "I'm going to Disney" grin :wave2:

Consider it done. I already forewarned my dad to be on the lookout for you at the airport!

I had two kids under 2, if 5am was the only time I could get some alone time on the cruise, I was going to jump on it! :rotfl2:

And Stacy, I had fun with you that morning pulling into CC, but that was still after my conversation with your Dad! :rotfl:

Nice dig! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Bathroom? This is New York. Find a quiet corner and go :rotfl:

I've never been tempted to go to Times Square. I hate crowds. I still remember EPCOT on NYE Y2K. While I'm glad I can say I was there for the experience, I hated the crowds. You couldn't move.

I would love to doe Times Square sometime but I too wonder about the whole batroom thing.
I was at Epcot for Y2K also!!! It was a mob scene!! It took 2 hours to get back to our hotel room after the midnight fireworks!

I never did Time Square but I did spent a New Years Eve at the Waldorf back when Guy Lombardo did the New Years Eve. It was the last one Guy Lombardo did (maybe 1975??). We traveled with our parents, who were originally booked to attend the party. I'm not sure how it came to be that my brother and I joined my folks that night. I'm sure it was a case of my Mom wasn't comfortable leaving us in the hotel room alone and my Dad had to pave the way for us go get in -- as I remember hearing that minors were not suppose to attend. But we did.....and had fun. I know my family back home were surprised to see me dancing on TV. Never did get a shot of my Mom or Dad who they were expecting to see.

It was definately a once in a lifetime experience. :cool1:

Stacy - we were situated outside Italy. When it was all over, the kids had to use the bathroom. So we went into L'Originale Alfredo di Roma to use their bathrooms. The lines were incredible. By the time we got out, most of the crowd had dissapated, so it was easy to take a slow walk out.

I'm not exactly sure. I know you stayed later than you usually do. And, when one person decided it was time to go, about 7 left at the same time. It seemed like the right time to do so myself. I want to say it was about 11 or so.

It was fun! It makes the cruise more real. :cool1:

If you haven't been to chat yet, try it on a Friday or a Sunday night. A lot of us are over there and seem to take over chat and end up moving to our own little room. It's a great way to get to know each other in a more conversation atmosphere! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I think that I may have been one of the first ones to leave. I was getting SO tired!!!

Wow - you guys were chatty last night. I think it was about 10:10 when I left. which is 2 hours after chat started. I usually do bail about 1/2 hour or 45 minutes in but it was so fun last night I just stayed as long as I could.

We were at Morocco for the fireworks and walked back to the Boardwalk to get to our car and drive back to the All Star hotels. They wouldn't let you go out to the traffic light across from MGM. They made all traffice drive around the circle and come out onto the main road by the Dolphin & Swan. Talk about gridlock.
I think the people at Epcot Hotels had a better view of the Midnight fireworks then some of the people that were in Epcot due to were they shot them off from.

I had a blast though. To get into Epcot that day were were in line for the International gateway and were Standing just before the bridge from the Yacht Club to the Dolphin & Swan. They had CM walking up and down the line telling people that if you did not already have a ticket and were an on property guest the park was closed, and this was at like 9:30 in the morning.

I also though it was cool that people were dressed from everything to shorts and t-shirts all the way up to Gowns and Tuxedos.

I made it till 11:30 EST before I called it quits. If work hadn't bin so long and boring I might have been a little more awake.
I have a nice 3 day weekend YEA!!! (the life of a state worker!)
We took the tree down earlier today so my living room is back to normal. I wanted to kill one of my cats though. When I picked up our Tinkerball tree skirt that we got last year I saw were he had clawed and digged at it a little. I was a little peturbed but I counted to 10 and moved on while Jeff kept saying well we have cats now and what did I expect.
The cats are spoiled and have tons of toys leave my stuff alone! :cat:

Did I miss anything good when you guys went to Room 3? Sorry, I couldn't join you but Host Duty kept me in the Main Room. I wish I could be in 2 rooms at once.

Karen -we usually just go to another room when we feel we are overtaking the regular chat. We don't mean to desert you, more we just don't want everyone else to feel left out when the chatter turns to the member cruise. So you didn't miss out on anyting big just some fun. Is there a set time you are supposed to be in chat (say for an hour) to host? Maybe next time we run long you can pop on over to the other room. Just a thought.
