Roxann sounds like a neat trip, glad you guys had fun. Congrats to your dd!

True to form - whatever weather Cindy and Mary have in Chicago, we get it right after them. The winds are really strong and it has rained off and on all day, sometimes misty, sometimes a downpour. At least it has been calmer than it was in Missouri & Illinois last night. Mid 60's today and I heard we're suppose to get snow tomorrow :confused3

Diana I hope your power stays on with this next batch of wind storms!

Congratulations to:

Matt-the-Brainiac! :teacher:

Roxann's spectacularly-sparring DD! :yay:

Jeff-the-(now)-warm! :sunny: Please wave to my Detroit Tigers for me!

Yep - very strange weather this winter! It supposedly hit 72 here today, with snow predicted for tomorrow (as my fellow Michiganders have already reported). And it is stupid windy outside right now! It's making branches scrape across the windows in a rather creepy way... :scared:

Good morning everyone! Looks to be a calmer day weather wise. Hope it stays that way. Gail if you are getting our Monday weather today look for lots and lots of wind!

and cold. :cold:

This is so strange. We started yesterday with about 60 degrees and then the wind kicked up and blew all the cold air back in. It's suppose to be windy again today with a high in the 20's. :cold: No wonder people are sick around here.

I hope the Florida weather stays in a warm, dry patttern for the next couple of weeks. :woohoo:

So far, so good, Cindy! We did have a "bit" of a cool down. Now, instead of 80, we're in the mid-upper 70s. I'll keep you updated on our beautiful spring weather.

I told Chris last night that I think that we're done with winter down here. We'll probably get one more little cold spell, but that's it!

Well, if you prediction is right, I hope that cold spells holds off until April. :teeth:

I just tried to do the 10 day and it's not quite far enough away to give me the 10 day forecase I'm interested in.

Crossing fingers and toes!! pixiedust:

If you go to accuweather.com you can get a 15 day forecast. ;)

Mary and Cindy - both of you are right - it's windy and cold here! I was enjoying the 60's we were having even though it was raining.

Keep us posted Amy with the great weather we will have once we get down there :sunny:

They could rent/buy the reservation from someone who may be cancelling.

The points for Cruises in general are more than what you would pay in cash.
This cruise is a little higher but in the past Disney has given us guests and gifts and just made the member cruise worth the points.

Cheryl
Jeff,I'm so happy for you! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Hope the move goes smoothly.

It's not that cold here....but VERY windy!

I meant to post pictures of this earlier, but I'm just getting around to it. Two weekends ago, we took the girls to this Kids Expo. There were lots of different companies that had booths and classrooms set up to try their products. There were puppet shows, magic shows, Meet and Greet with characters (not Disney), anyways, one of the classrooms was done by the Home Depot and it was so cool. When you went in, they gave each kid an orange apron like the real ones at the HD and put their name on it. Then there were about 10 different wooden craft kits you could choose. There were tables set up with hammers, screwdrivers, sandpaper.....all the tools you'd need to finish the project. So....this weekend Emma finally got around to painting hers, and I did Julias (who will not be getting a hammer anytime in the near future!) Here's what we picked out, they were unfinished wood, we painted them with kids paints, so the paint jobs aren't spectacular, but I wanted to save their clothes and my kitchen.

Emma's--She wanted it pink. It's a CD rack.

Julia's--I got to pick the colors out for her. Bookends!

The best part about it---it was all totally free! :cool1:

Diana ,the CD rack and bookends look really cute. Free is great too! Hope the girls use them well!

Thanks everyone for wishing me well on my CT scan. I won't find out until next week. My doctors out of town.

OMG! Adorable!!!

I love the cd rack and book ends. Very cute!!!!

Diana, very cute!!!

Our local Home Depot would do classes like that on Saturday mornings. We went years ago with Scouts and the boys made a treasure box. I wonder if they still offer those classes. Walker would love to make something -- he's always working on some type of project. His latest effort has been a chisel, hammer and a landscaping brick. He's seeling how long it's going to take him to make it all into dust. :teeth: It keeps him busy and there are so many other things he could be doing that would cause me more of a headache. And, it's relatively safe provided he doesn't smash his fingers.

I noticed this morning running out to the garage that I have a bunch of daffodils that are up above the ground about 2". Spring is coming!!! :woohoo: :flower1:

Cindy - we saw the same thing over the weekend. The dafodils and tulips are starting to pop up. Yeah - bring on the warm weather!

Thanks, Robin.

Looks like it's going to be highs in the upper 60's to the low 80's while we are there. Best news......no rain in the predictions!! :sunny:
