I'm glad you both are safe. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of WDW. Sure wish we could come down for a visit.

Yep - we'll recover. Those government dollars will at least keep coming in to help in the future also. !!!
Once I get the house liveable again, it won't be too awfully bad. I don't even have a bed to sleep in now. I hate staying with my sister. She has five labador retrievers and they never go out. I should say nothing else. !!!!! THIS TIME SHALL PASS and better things are to come.
Thank goodness I had points left and they sure have come in handy for 9 days at OKW -
Looking at the whole picture, we still have a lot - just a few rips and breaks to fix to make it better again.
Going to MK today and browse around. Spent all day yesterday at EPCOT with my neice and nephew - BTW he is an actor and shooting a movie right now with Marcia Gay Harden -
he was in Bad Boys II also -
there is another movie out right now that is #2 on the charts - can't think of the name of it right now - and he is in that one also.
He is also a double for that guy in Miami Vice - can't think of the actor's name. GEEZ, I HAVE A LAPSE OF MEMORY REALLY GOOD THIS MORNING.
Maybe my mind will come back later........... when I remember, I'll post the name of the movies

My nephew is the double for Don Johnson (in all his movies)
The movies he recently made is Bad Boys II and Transporter II (FBI agent)
He is now making KANSAS - filming in Hollywood, FL - and due to come out in January, 2006

Come on down and see us... our little cool-down is over and it's supposed to be 85* tomorrow. I've sure enjoyed opening the windows and airing out the house after a long summer, but winter will come soon enough! Eat some 'winter' food for us, ok?

well, i was doing OK until I woke up at 3 am and turned on computer to get sleepy again. Opened Peter's BOO and it was very quite at OKW in the dark until I opened the BOO. Harry jumped completely out of bed and yelled "what the hell" - and he never = never curses. I couldn't turn the volume down quickly enough - oh well, got over that. YES, BAD - BAD PETER - I'LL NEVER TALK TO HIM AGAIN. NEVER........................
We leave for Ft. Lauderdale on Thursday morning. I hate to go back. Have no house to live in yet. Have arranged for a pool guy to get my neighbor's roof out of the pool, empty it and diamond bright it and get it working again.
Harry's new Spa is hopefully not damaged with debris and part of the roof in it. (only one week old) I could have just gone out on I-95 and thrown 7K out the window - it would have been gone faster.................
My brand new screeen enclosure is gone and have to maybe get that replaced - another 4K on that. I am totally sick.
Have insurance man coming out to look at damage on Friday for the inside and see about new carpet,[painting and replacing kitchen cabinets and some dining room furniture that got ruined. The water damage is due to our washing machine hose that burst while Harry came to see me in the hospital after surgery and he went home and walked into over a foot of water inside the whole house. WHAT A MESS. But the ins. co. people were out in less than an hour to extract all water out - they were fast and good but totally tore the house completely up.
the main thing I need now is for about 4 strong men to come in and package everything up in the POD until the work is done. And then everything needs to be put back inside the house. I think the ins. is going to just give me $'s for it 'cause I'm going to use my own contractors for all the work.
And all I can do is sit and watch and direct, since I can't walk at all now. What a helpless feeling to be in.
But this time shall pass and all will be OK when finished. No Christmas or Thanksgiving this year. Maybe someone will invite us over!!!!!!!!!!!
OK -= now my heart is pumping again after BOO - Harry probably won't talk to me all day now.
Going to DVC Member Homecoming at 4 pm at OkW today. Then supper at Cape May - driving home tomorrow morning to turn in the car rental.
I understand Ft. Lauderdale is still 50% w/o electric. My house doesn't have it yet either. Everything is not supposed to be back up and running until approximately Nov. 27th.

I am leaving tomorrow morning about 7 am going back home and probably won't sign back on until I get my electric on at home. Don't know when that will be - still about 350 thousand people w/o electric and we are one of them.

OK I know it is early, but just no time before we leave for our WDW trip on Turkey day so, we were putting up one of our Christmas trees, and we have one dedicated to our travels. Went to put up the nice ornament we got from our Canal Cruise, and discovered that it is plastic. Silly me what should I expect with Mazatlan spelled Masatlan. LOL
Cold and snowy here, SCUBA Class this afternoon, next weekend we take them to Open Water.
