Now, I've been watching for Alvaro all morning to see if Matt gets to talk to him, but when I left for work he still hadn't been on. Alvaro....where are you? And how dare NBC show another cruise line going through the canal and not show us from May going through on Disney. HOW DARE THEY!!!!

I could only watch 2 segments before I had to go to work. Then... on the Daily Buzz - the morning show on the WB was at MGM studios this morning too! They had on the group Mulch, Sweat and Shears which one of the members has subbed with Off Kilter and also produced their last 2 albums.

Good morning everyone!

I have not been able to post for a REALLY long time! I have been lurking, so I am caught up though!


I hope everyone down in Florida is doing better. I left two days before Wilma went through- although we were originally projected to be there during the storm. It was really interesting to see different the news coverage was locally verses nationally. I had family memebers calling being concerned that the world was ending in Orlando- while were enjoying beautiful (but very hot) weather.

Work has been REALLY busy! I am hoping that everything calms down. I have had to bring home work projects consistently since July.....I think I am down now. So, I will enjoy being able to seperate work and home.


WE are one of the luck families that lives in close proximity to one of the theaters that are showing Chicken Little in 3D!!! I have to say, I LOVED it! I was a little apprehensive after the reviews- but I really liked it! The 3D was AMAZING!!! Even better than the 3D of Polar Express.



Lately I have been listening to the many Disney podcasts. Wouldn't it be fun if our group did a cruising podcast? I keep on hearing that many of the podcasts talking about doing a potential cruise podcast- but none of them have actually been on the cruise!


I also recently found out that one of my sisters might be moving to Orlando....she doesn't know if she is excited or not- as the housing prices have really jumped there in the past years.

Robb and Noah are going to WDW in December from the 2 to the 5th. Noah kept on talking about wanting to go to the Christmas party, so he could have hot chocolate and sugar cookies and airfare was cheap so they are going- now we are trying to find a hotel room there. It doesn't seem that there are any rooms at Disney for those dates! (I don't have my work schedule yet for those dates)

I was watching for you in Burlington a couple weeks ago! Keith and I went back to take care of Etta for a few days. We ended up going to visit Keith's bil who had his knee replaced at Burlington. I knew it would be a real longshot, but I kept looking!!

Etta finally broke down and bought one of those nice 4 wheeled walkers, and now she doesn't slow down....she keeps telling us, "I should have done this years ago!!"

I wonder if the rooms are booked because of mousefest? I heard that it's a big deal and there are a LOT of people coming, but I don't know any more than that. Please tell them that we'd love to see them while they're here. We'd put them up here, but we've got kids in town that week.

Have you seen the new 'Work and the Glory' movie yet? It's really really good!

Anyone from our group besides Scott and Lynn coming down for mousefest, please give us a call. We'd love to see you!

No, I did not paint his face. I had it done at MGM for $15.00- which I figured was much easier. I had brought him a black sweat shirt to wear, but it was too HOT. I don't think I wore any make up that whole week because I was certain it would run down my face due to sweating. He wanted to wear a cape but I didn't think it would work with the rides, so we left that home.

I have not seen the second movie, it is not playing around here.

I would like all of us to get together in January, if that is okay?

Hey Celeste, that is Mousefest and also right at the beginning of Pop Warner Football/Cheerleaders.

Again I subject myself to all of the Pop Warner kids while I am at WDW! I am sure that Noah will love the party.

We will be there Dec 1-9. I know that Scott and Lynn... or at least Scott offered a little meet and greet sometime on Saturday December 3.

I am having a hard time getting ready for this trip. Been so busy with work that I have not even thought about it.

But it is only a few weeks away!!!

Having had to just book rooms myself, I can tell you that as of this weekend the problem was getting a room for Saturday, December 3. There weren't any available on property at all. I have Allstar Music on the 2nd, the Swan on the 3rd and Pop Century on the 4th and 5th. I should just rent a car and live in that.

Will check our calander and see what might work out for that day. Then name a place and time to stop by and say Hi. That is the day of the Mega Mouse meet at the Swan and Dolphin from 1:00 to 3:30. We have to be there earlier for a pre Great Race briefing. Deb would that be a day Off Kilter would be performing. Maybe get together by their stage for one of their performances?


Catherine, get a van they are much more comfortable for living down by the river.

Lynn, Just reminded me that she thought we (she) mentioned something about a meeting loacation at MVMCP on 12/4. Maybe a fireworks viewing thingie, or we are open for ideas.

Okay...Mom and I experienced our first tornado yesterday . Apparently we had a category 1 tornado hit our city. I was at home when the tornado hit but luckily we suffered no damage (thank goodness) but a local elementary school's roof blew off and there is so much damage to buildings with many trees down and many damaged roofs. I know how scared we were with this storm that I can't even begin to imagine what Leslie & Joe and Kay & Harry went through in Ft. Lauderdale with Hurricane Wilma.

I was at home when the tornado hit but luckily we suffered no damage (thank goodness) but a local elementary school's roof blew off and there is so much damage to buildings with many trees down and many damaged roofs. I know how scared we were with this storm that I can't even begin to imagine what Leslie & Joe and Kay & Harry went through in Ft. Lauderdale with Hurricane Wilma.

So very glad you were not hurt or any damage to your property. You are right, no one can imagine what happens until you go through something like that. We were able to come back home yesterday - was away for 3 weeks.

I have been lucky enough to start to get my home back liveable before the insurance comes through or even wait for the adjuster to come out. Many people don't have that option. I am very grateful for being where I am today. Even tho all of my household furnishings and clothes are sitting in my front yard in a POD. (had to go to Target to buy some clothes to wear in the interim) Hopefully it will be put back in the house by next Thursday. Having the inside painted now and tile and carpet goes in on Monday.

Was told by the doctor today that I could start trying to walk about the 3rd week of December. What a way to get out of doing all the work myself.

I forgot about the Mega mouse meet..... Off Kilter does not play on Friday or Saturdays. I may head over to the Mega Mouse meet. I have a few friends that will be there.

Yes aren't they just fun We have had high winds the last few days. My neighbors love us... we have the only tree for many yards
and allll of our leaves are on thier lawns

OK OK OK I got it… on 12/3 at 3:00 we can meet at the Swan Dolphin boat dock. From there we will cruise to Epcot and stroll to the new Ice Station cool place, whatever the new name is. So kinda a cruise remembrance thing.

Then to continue with our cruise theme.

Then we can plan a time to do a group meet at Pirates of the Caribbean on the evening of 12/4 at MVMCP. Time to be determined.

How are those agenda items ?????
