Just got back from WALMART! Yes, I had all the colors on the floor, dropping them to see the different lights My DH had to walk away and come back! When he came back I asked him to choose

I ended up getting 2 pair, blue + orange. I liked the green too!

I never would have known they lit up unless I read the posts on the board!

My DH is a saint. He knew as soon as he read all the posts about the light up thingie flops I would want to go check them out!

Put on fertilizer, weed killer, insect killer, bleached and cleaned the gutters and woodwork and tadaaa, core aerated the front and side yard. Billy slept in until 1pm. I'm mad at him. I did , however, let it happen. Kristen kind of helped.
You getting ready at this point? I spoke with a travel agent patient of ours and they said "Carey" limo service.. Ever heard of them?
I guess I will need to go to the WalMart and check out the footy lighty floppy thingys.

Kids, Kids, Kids--Sounds like mine at that age.
Carey Limo--Nope. We have always driven to the airport, except for one time. Stayed at the Holliday Inn next to it the night before and used their lot.

You know, I think , for the most part, it is done. I don't usually go that far down, but I came up on SR 62 toward New Albany and it appears done. I live have the house on the east side of town.
I've been contemplating getting a Kentucky Kingdom pass from the Kroger down there as it's on sale for $44. Season pass.
By chance have you heard of a kennel in lebanon that is pretty special? I can't remember the name. Supposed to be pretty good.

Sparky , our bassett hound, will become depressed. He stayed at Noahs animal hospital and was not in good shape when we got him. I am sure it was depression. Lost weight, little interaction, lethargic. Took him a while to perk back up. I thought that place might offer more interaction for him to be distracted.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

OK water conducts heat away from the body 20 times faster than air. So our 98.6 degree bodies in a 75-78 degree F water can chill down pretty quickly over time. A shorty wet suit, short sleeves and short legs will help keep the core of the body warm. I am a ninny and wear a full 5/4/3 suit, 5mm over the core and upper thighs, 4mm over lower legs and 3mm over the arms. So if one is going to have continual exposure to water for say over 30-45 min a wet suit makes one warmer. A wet suit is also good sun protection. Personal comfort is very personal, I have been on trips where some folks wear no exposure protection, I wear a full 5/4/3, and the locals wear a full 7mm suit.

The shorty wet suits at Sam’s , Costco, etc… are a good value, I ware one out about every year due to chlorine exposure in the pool.

Tonight I decided to figure out how active our board had been since I joined in. My first post on this thread was on 1-13-05 post 2656 on page 178 we are now at post 7875 on page 525.

I also went back and read the first 50 pages of the thread. It was fun to read all your posts when you were all getting to know one another - Jeff, are you really a monorail pilot? If so, how cool.

I'm very disappointed about the "blinky flippy floppy thingies" - we were in Niagara Falls USA yesterday (had no problems at the border, Scott) and didn't see the flip fops...might have to make a return trip to the US...I doubt Walmart here will have them..but will check.

I can't wait for this cruise....I can't wait to meet everyone...Scott my Mom can't wait to meet you...she likes your sense of humour and is always laughing when I read her your posts!!!!!

I do have a question...if we don't have the Repo shirts on embarkation day how will we know one another in the terminal or on the ship before the sailaway party?

Georgie, your husband is just way too nice! Are these like the rubber between the toes type flip flops? I will have to check them out tomorrow at Walmart.

Whew! I go away for 4 days, and spend like 2 hours catching up on all your posts. You all have had so much fun!

Peter thanks for the link for the new countdown timer! Congratulations to all that got your stateroom assignments. Regarding upgrades; my one and only was 1 week before sailing, I had booked the cruise 18 months in advance, had to change all my docs with black marker. I was upgraded from CAT 7 to CAT 5!
