Hi everyone!

Finally getting a chance to check in.

Please count on us for the wine party. We will be bringing a couple of bottles from a local Virginia winery.

We are staying the night pre cruise at the Airport Embassy Suites. Post cruise we will be at the Contemporary for 3 nights. We changed from the Poly about a month ago when we were lucky enough to snag a room on the 14th floor. It will be a great place to relax after the cruise. We may also try to get over to Epcot for the CP on the 28th, only because of Gary Sinese. Not sure what else we will try to fit in. Diana, any luck getting a fireworks cruise? I know you mentioned it at one time.

Well I am off to the gym!

Take care.

Perhaps the large outdoor area might be better as this list is growing by the minute.

Especially when I may being bringing the Limberger Cheese.

Gus

:faint: :crazy2: Limberger cheese!!! Now wait just a doggone minute!! LOL!

Taking Jordan to dance, then having dinner. I will be back after 8:00 MST. I guess AZ is now on Mountain time...too hard to figure out, since we don't change our clocks!!

HA! An accidental T.O.P.!!! COOL!!

We need Cindy and Boyd on that list, too....Stingfancb, at least two people.

And you know...this isn't just for adults....we can have the kids with us too, if we want to, or need to.......

Hi everyone.

Mary-I am so sorry that this became such a project!!!!!!!!! When I started the early dining list way back when it was set up for three tables. All Debbie wanted was the room numbers and it was set as a go once the number of people were set at each table. I even requested the 3 tables in a row along the windows. I am guessing that since the group got larger that Debbie wanted to handle it differently. I know you have so much to take care of for this cruise and you are working full time. I had it all set up with the original list. I would never had asked you if I knew this was going to be a problem. I am truly sorry for that.

I hope someone takes this over so you all can sit together. My suggestion would be to go back to the original list so you do not loose those tables and anyone who was added on after that would take over the new list. I think that is how Diana has it set up that there are two people handling the late dining?.

I know I am not part of this anymore but I worked hard setting the whole thing up for you all and it would be a shame if you all could not sit together. I truly wish I was still going with you all. Thinking of you all and hope it all works out. Again, Mary-I m so sorry. Take care all-Love Gail

:wave2:

One day, in line at the cafeteria, Bob says to Stanley, "My elbow hurts like everything. I guess I better see a doctor."

"Listen, you don't have to spend that kind of money," Stan replies.

There's a diagnostic computer down at WalMart. Just give it a urine sample and the computer'll tell you what's wrong and what to do about it. It takes ten seconds and costs ten dollars...a lot cheaper than a doctor."

So Bob deposits a urine sample in a small jar and takes it to WalMart.

He deposits ten dollars, and the computer lights up and asks for the urine sample. He pours the sample into the slot and waits. Ten seconds later, the computer ejects a printout:

"You have tennis elbow. Soak your arm in warm water and avoid heavy activity. It will improve in two weeks."

That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Jack began wondering if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a urine sample from his dog, urine samples from his wife and daughter, and some water out of his favorite fishing hole, just for good measure.

Bob hurries back to WalMart, eager to check the results. He deposits ten dollars, pours in his concoction, and waits. In ten seconds the computer prints the following:
1. Your tap water is too hard. Get a water softener.
2. Your dog has ringworm. Bathe him with anti-fungal shampoo.
3. Your daughter has a cocaine habit. Get her into rehab...
4. Your wife is pregnant. Twins. They aren't yours. Get a lawyer.
5. If you don't stop fishing, your elbow will never get better.

And, as always, thank you for shopping at Walmart!

Husband Mart

A store that sells husbands has just opened in Dallas, TX where a woman may choose a husband from among many men. The store is comprised of 6 floors, and the men increase in positive attributes as the shopper ascends the flights. There is however, a catch. As you open the door to any floor you may choose a man from that floor, but if you go up a floor, you cannot go back down except to exit the building.

So a woman goes to the shopping center to find a husband.

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs.

The woman reads the sign and says to herself, "Well, that's better than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what's further up?" So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs and love kids.

The woman remarks to herself, "That's great, but I wonder what's further up?"

And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking.

"Hmmm, better" she says. "But I wonder what's upstairs?" So up she goes.

The fourth floor sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework.

"Wow!" exclaims the woman, "very tempting. BUT, there must be more further up!"

And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak.

"Oh, mercy me! But just think... What must be awaiting me further on?" So up to the sixth floor she goes.

The sixth floor sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 3,456,789,012,996 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping Husband Mart and have a nice day.

Yup. I have. I've talked at great length with the trainer (who is awesome and, like I said, wouldn't recommend it unless every other avenue has been exhausted.) I've emailed the breeder, but haven't heard back.

Have you tried the Citronella collar? Our trainer told us "don't waste your money on them." The static collar doesn't electrocute them, by any stretch, just a static shock like from a carpet rub. If I thought in any way it was HURTING her, I wouldn't use it. Many websites talk about them as safe, humane training tools. In fact, I personally, think having an untrained, unruly dog is less humane than a dog who can intreract with the family and follow the rules.

I found this website particularly helpful to alleviate my fears about doing something cruel:

http://www.safepets.com/debunkingmyths.html

I wasn't trying to say you were hurting your dog. I sometimes forget that others have bigger dogs. A shock from a carpet rub REALLY hurts my dog. He yips when it happens, so that's what I was basing it on. It probably isn't cruel for larger dogs (like I said before, I forget about the size difference sometimes).

I haven't tried the citronella collar, but I have a co-worker who has and we've worked for a person who owns a Doggy Daycare center and that's what she uses to train the dogs she trains. My co-worker said it worked for his dog.

I wasn't trying to insult you, just trying to help. I probably should have kept my mouth shut about something I have no direct experience with. Sorry.

Stacey - Thanks for thinking of Boyd and me. Hopefully, our vow renewal will be on that day. Of course we still haven't heard - anyway,; if possible, you know we'll be there.
By the way - tried on my VR dress today, and it fits even better than before:rolleyes1
Cindy

Mary, please don't stress about the early seating! With all you do I wouldn't expect you to take on another chore. This one sounds like a major pain.

Hey, this is your vacation!!! Even if we don't all sit together, we are still on the same ship :-)

Take care cruisers.

Found another DIS and 10 day newbie over on the main board.... jtrain73....

Invited them to join us....

Guess we'll have to see...
