The photo gallery has been updated with a great picture of Patty DW4US and her family. Check it out!

BTW - never did go into work today. We had a lot of running around to do and even did a little Christmas shopping. So I figured I would take care of all the lists etc. I'm going in tomorrow instead.


Also just an FYI - I've stopped keeping track of who is on what excursion. Sorry - too many lists to keep track of

Just an observation:

With all the effort and energy spent by all the group members doing all the little things that are not required. I have REALLY GREAT feeling that this the (may I say) First 10 day of Holiday Magic Cruise is really going to be superb!!

With buttons, T-shirts, wine tastings, get togethers, excursions and dinner groupings, I'm quite impressed with the "family" togetherness of the group. And all this effort, discussion and fun that is being shared now and being planned will make our experience on of even greater pleasure!


Can't wait to share the "MAGIC" with all of you.

Good Afternoon!

I'm doing laundry, and shopping online. What else do I do on a Saturday??

I'm sitting reading about all of our non-successful diets. I didn't even try.....just talked about it alot...guess I used to believe in the power of positive thinking!
And, as I sit here, I have the jar of peanut butter and a spoon! Protein??

I have so much stuff piled in my furnace room that I am bringing on the cruise....I just hope no one needs to get in that room!
I don't even want to think about how to pack it all.
Seriously....how many bags are we allowed?

Kevin - I think you have it right. When I started the newsletters it was so that we could all get to know each other. Well that has certainly happened. I've met people I consider friends and we haven't even cruised yet. I think we are in for an incredible 10 days. It is a Magical time of year, on the most MAGICal of ships, and definately with the most MAGICAL group of cruisers!

People in chat even notice it when we have 3 or more 12/18 cruisers in the same chat! We do have a great group!

Since I'm new to the board I think I missed the discussion on a DIS Meet --- is it on the cruise???

Mary -- Thanks so much for all your doing --- I think it's going to be a great cruise!

I finally got some shore excusions made --- DH (Mike) is golfing at St. Thomas, St. Lucia and Antigua --- the girl that made the reservations seemed surprised he was golfing so much -- she must not know many golfers!

The girls and I are going to do the St. John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour --- I know it leaves at 7:40, but we'll be up anyway so might as well get started. I choose this one because it has beach time and I have one DD that doesn't want to snorkel but does want to sit on the beach. Anyone else going on that one?

I can't believe in only 9 weeks we'll be sailing away!!!!!

HI Patty - we are planning on having a DIS meet on the ship at 3pm on sailaway day. Deck 10, midship above the goofy pool, the side overlooking the port. That gives us about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to meet and chat before the drill. Then everyone that wants to can get back together for sailaway. We've tried to do the meet at the sailaway party and it is so noisy and so much going on that you don't get to meet people. 3pm works much better.
