Hi Virgil,
Welcome to the left coast. I do hope you are having a productive visit. Still planning on visiting Napa?
Hey it might not rain up there. I'm way south. Can't get much closer to Mexico than San Diego.
Cheers, -Dpirate:

It's a total of 18 people, enough for another section. Perhaps one of you would like to take this on? You would need to be booked through DCL or have a very helpful TA. Let me know.

Dancind, are you saying this group listed above need to get a section for us? Can you PM me with details if that is the case? Thanks

Diana, I have a bunch of additional names. I'll take it on, let's PM and coordinate?

Here's my list so far:

My DGS just popped in and told me that he does not think this Dis board is "the 12 Step program for Disney that we had in mind." He thinks this is taking me in the opposite direction on my addiction. LOL (bad computer, can't do the smiles!)

I think Lisa mentioned being late seating in chat tonight?

Denise, we'll be checking into the MCO Hyatt at about the same time -- our flight arrives at 11:05PM... :)

Uh, the fun of traveling from the left coast...

Delta changed our schedule without telling us...they wanted us to fly from SEA to Salt Lake City, then Dallas, then Orlando. I called them and was not very nice -- this is the 2nd time they changed our flights, and last time they basically told me it was my fault because I made the reservations too early...So I hit the roof tonight. They now have us going through Salt Lake only...We'll see how many more times we have to go through this in the next 9 weeks...

NO! :sunny:

And Virgil, if you have a rain cloud hanging over you, would you please stop here on your way back???

I went to the games, but didn't have to play. Jordan and I left for a while and ran to Mervyn's. It's sooo close, I couldn't resist.

I did get back in time to see Jay hit a home run with two men on.:bounce: He was VERY out of breath by the time he hit home plate!
We won both games....unusual for us!

It's going to start cooling off finally....next couple days in the high 80's, then down to the low 80's....:hyper:
It's almost midnight, and still 73!

Okie dokie....off to bed....

SUPER SATURDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE HOLIDAY CRUISERS!

Good night!

Denise: I may have been ready to throw out my stinky DH, but at least I didn't rob the cradle :D !!! Had to laugh at this! I know Charlotte has a DS about 6, so maybe they can get together.

We are on late seating, but DH isn't a joiner, so we're not going to try to sit with the group. Of course, if you all are having too much fun, I just might have to sneak over to visit while you're eating dessert or something!

Thanks to all who've expressed concern. We are still going on the cruise. It's really something we've looked forward to, and the in-laws don't want us to cancel just because they can't go. We're banking the credit for their Southwest flights, and we'll probably fly them out to see us in the early spring (once Dad's stable, and maybe when our new house is finished).

The man who lives across the street from my in-laws is now in the hospital, probably with fatal heart problems. I tell you, it never rains, it pours. DH was very close to this man growing up. Their DS was his best friend, and the man taught my DH all he knows about the outdoors. I was in and out of chat so much last night because we were on the phone with them at the hospital. DH is trying to decide if he should go back for the funeral or not.

Okay, I'm off to figure out how the in-laws cancellation affects our BWV rooms. Then to Girl Scout training. I'll check in later this weekend.

We are in the single digits (weeks wise) :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Time is flying by!

Lisa - so glad to hear that you and your family are still cruising even though your in-laws aren't.

I've got to go to work today to catch up on way too much. My goal for tomorrow (while I'm doing fun things like laurdry) is to ge the lists up for buttons, the navigator, and tag.

Well off to read the boards, then we'll go shopping and then into work.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning All!

I am thinging of bringing a Christmas Tree, has anyone else done this before?

In the past when we have stayed in the parks I have had Disney put one up in our room, for a fee of course. do you think that the ship does this also?

Is there any information out there on the Formal nights yet? Like when they are and how many there are? I know it was probably already listed on this thread somewhere............ but I missed it.

Wow, 9 weeks.................... Can't wait!!

Today is our one year anniversay. No, not wedding (19 years), and not signing up for the cruise, but of starting the South Beach Diet. A combined 55 pounds gone forever (me - 35, Sharon - 20)

Last year at this time we were facing the Christmas cruise and were not pleased. Thinking about the extra weight we wanted to put on during the cruise and already concerned about tight pants

We started the SBD and by the cruise lost a total 35 pounds. Felt great during the cruise and eat ourselves silly. I gain 10 and Sharon gained 7. Gone in three weeks.

Since than we have been on two other cruises and we have been able to keep our weight just where we want it. Going to low fat, good carb, non-processed food has been a great decision for us. And we eat well.

So to celebrate we are going to Wine & Food. Going to eat and drink to celebrate (we will be good next week to lose the celebration weight).

By the way, on the cruise SBD is out the window. We are eating it all and enjoying it.

PS: Good luck to all those trying. Hope this gives you some encouragement. Remember, it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

I can't believe we are at the 9 week mark. Time to go into "Hyper-Planning Speed".

Disneylover4 & Allears: I brought an old suitcase filled with X-Mas decorations and a tree a few years ago. I brought lights, a fancy tree skirt and table runners, our favorite family ornaments (just the small ones), battery operated lighted window sculptures, a small tree(@ 24") , suction cups for the sliders out to the balcony and a couple of good quality power strips. I put my tree ontop of one one those decorator tables (the ones that come apart) and an X-Mas scene on the Steamtruck bureau and lights in the windows. It only took me about an hour to decorate and I left a box with the tree and anything else I didn't fell lug lugging back for trash. DH just rolls his eyes (he does that alot with me) but even he admitted it looked very festive.

Diana & MrsMork: I booked with DU but if there is anything else I can do inthe way of contributing to the planning I would be happy to.

MrsMork: loved the 12 step post- TOO FUNNY!

Lisa: so sorry that your in-laws won't be joining. What a disappointment.

scuba diver: congrats on your one year anniversary. I am still trying to lose that 10-20 pounds before the cruise. I have been on so many diets that I do a combo of them all. You learn little things that work for you from each. I was very successful on LA Weight Loss (35#) but gained @ 15 back and am trying to get rid of it slowly before the cruise. Been working on it for about 4 weeks and am down about 7#. :yo-yo:

Well off to get ready for DD birthday party. We are doing the RFC in Burlington and than a sleepover for 12 Girls:crazy: :bounce:  :bounce:  :bounce:

Hopefully I'll survive to post tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone!!!

I don't think I'll bring that much stuff!:teeth: But since we will be away from the traditional family gathering, I thought maybe a small tree and small gifts would make up for it.

I also wonder if we'll have a special dinner Christmas Eve and will it be a formal night? MIL,MOM,DD, and I are taking a shopping trip in 2 weeks to get formals for the cruise. We will want something festive for that night if so.

Morning Holiday Cruisers.

I like the idea of the Christmas tree but I don't think DH will carry it on for me. I might bring one of the little table top versiions. But we have two rooms so that would mean twice the decorations. Will have to see how much room is left after packing clothes and such.

Lisa glad you are still coming with us.

Stacey - do you have us in the evening group for dinner? I am really confused as to who is doing what with the ressies. Or were you doing the Palo ressie? Please let me know if I need to send you any info (or do you know as much as you need to about gaRry & I ?

Hope everyone has a great day

Happy sweetest day to one and all:hug: :lovestruc
