Good Sunday Morning Holiday Cruisers!!

Stacey I also have a daughter that could be up for lease or loan. She even drives so it is an added benefit for those with multiple events to taxi to. any takers?

We could rent out the DDs princess: and pay for our excursions, yes? ::yes::

Time to start the laundry. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Vicki

OK something I meant to write yesterday.

To all of those of you who have been successful on your diets - congratuations! I'm very proud of you.

To all of those who weren't as successful - don't worry you have LOTS of company in me. I was successful when I started last year, but stresses at work made me fall off the wagon and I'm back to my original weight. No skinny minnie here :D

So my plan for the cruise is stay active, take the stairs a lot, and enjoy! Hopefully I won't gain too much and I can work on losing that weight before our next cruise :D

Good Moring Cruisers!!!

Mary - I will call Shirley about the Christmas trees regarding a group rate on Monday. I will also get the details on the tree decorated and un decorated and will post it on this board.

I'm not decorating at home - no one is here to see them. We live in Downtown Boston - for those of you familar with Boston we live in the North End - right around the corner from Paul Revere's house! And unfortunely most people don't decorate any more so I will blend in this year. Usually my DS insists that we decorate but seeing he is flying in from Southern California (college) he won't be here before Christmas I am off the hook!

And Angela, Thank you I am glad to hear of another DH out there that loves to comment before or should I say complain as we do the work and planning - then they are Happy with the results

Have a Great Sunday everyone!!

Good Morning everyone. Happy Sunday. Thinking about you all and hope you all have a wonderful day.
LeiLani was wonderful taking over the brunch for me. I think I set the time for 10:30. LeiLani will have that information now.
Mary was wonderful and took on the early seating dining for me. Along with all her other projects. If you have any questions about early dining she is the lady to contact.
We went to the Museum of Natural History in NYC yesterday with DD. It was wonderful. They had two special exibits on Frogs from all over the world and a Butterfly Exibit. It was awesome. They also had a special Bug movie in the Imax but we did not have enough time. We were there for almost 4 hours until it closed. We than went to Ellen's Stardust Diner where the waiters and Waitresses sing. It was so much fun. It is on Broadway. DD was ready for bed after that.

We are paid on full for 1/4/05 4 night Magic. If DH gets caught up on the job I will go with the children and bring someone along with me. I think he will be able to swing those few days. I have no idea what to do with the children in Nassau. We have been twice and to Atlantis. The children have not been-actually DD was when she was sick just for an hour! DS can not go on the slides at Atlantis he is to young and not yet 48 inches. There is not much to do there. I was obsessiong on getting a Balcony for $300.00 more or staying with cat. 8 room 7504(connecting room-I heard you can hear more through the connecting doors?). We stayed with the Cat. 8 but I still think about getting that balcony eventhough it is 4 nights. I want to treat myself since I can not cruise with you all. It will not make up for how I feel not cruising with you all but at least I would have a balcony. Any suggestions from my dear friends on Nassau would be appreciated. Thanks.
Have a great day eveyone. TTYS-Gail

IT'S RAINING! IT'S RAINING! IT'S REALLY REALLY RAINING!! :rotfl: :jumping1: :cool1: :cool1:

I know it seem a small thing, but we haven't had it in sooo long. YEAH!!!! My DH (Yes husband) is just shaking his head at me. He thinks I'm a dork. But it's raining.

We are going out to the mall to see luggage today and then football and chili. I am going to root through my Christmas stuff to see what is good for travel. The doors are metal correct?

Have a good one all. I'm off to splash in puttles with my girls. :teeth: :teeth:

Cheers -D

Congrats on the rain, Denise. Having lived many years in CA, I understand that excitement. However, after many years in OR, we now say, "Yep it's raining again.":sunny:

Angie,
That's where I'm trying to get my family to. It's in the plans eventually. We have a few more years here though. Have family from both sides in Oregon, and I am not solar powered. I like the sun, just don't need it all the time. :earsgirl:
TTFN. Cheers- D

Well, DD finally found the teen thread and is posting, but she is using my login. How can I get her her own? Do I need to be on her addy to register?

Has anyone gotten their docs yet? I paid off over a week ago and am patiently waiting. I added a room and don't know the # yet since it was a gty.

I've been paid for about a month now - and still no docs - Maybe because I went through Costco Travel?

IT'S RAINING! IT'S RAINING! IT'S REALLY REALLY RAINING!!

Denise - how far north of you is it raining? My son is in Long Beach - too early to call him, but, if he wakes up to rain he will be a Very Happy Boy! He loves the rain and misses that most about the east coast.

Well, off to shopping, just had to check in on the boards.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!!!

Hey, I'll take a daughter -- my DS needs it!

Sue, sent you email.

I went through DU and paid a month ago and no docs here, either. Maybe DCL still doesn't have everything set for the cruise?

Mary, thanks for the diet comfort. With everything that's been happening in my marriage this past year, I didn't just not lose the weight I had to lose, I gained more...chocolate is my friend...Now that things are way better in the marriage dept., I'm too used to eating bad and liking it...sigh.

Nobody gets documents until about three weeks before the cruise, no matter how you paid. Unless it's changed in the last two years.

Disneylover4, you have to clear your cookies. I'm sorry, that's all I know. My DH has given directions on how to do this a couple of times, but just try finding it in this thread! Maybe someone who knows more will post.

Stacey, Jordan's mid-school has homecoming? Alicia's mid-school has a couple of dances a year, for a couple of hours after school. She thinks they're a waste and doesn't even go anymore. Fine with me! She's going to the roller rink today for a party, I think there are boys there.

Gail, is there a thread for the January cruise you're going on? I don't know much about the Bahamas, but there might be a lot of information there. Maybe you could get a brunch going too!

This will be our second year of not decorating for Christmas. When we get them all out next year they will seem new!

Diana - I don't think its changed. I would say 2-4 weeks out is the normal time frame for documents.

To prepare everyone for when they do come. Remember to fill out all the forms including the Bahama form. Many people forget this one, but with going to Castaway Cay (which is in the Bahamas) it is necessary.

I think we have a few weeks until we all start doing the document dance. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

What's that old song "It never rains in California, it pours" or something like that.

What will really set you apart from the run of the mill dork, is when you watch the Weather Channel constantly....:hyper:

Top!!!!!!!

It pays to post when the other pirate: in the house is out!

:D

Great, the kids need some variety other there.
You need to register DD and then go back to the main DIS page, log out and then clear the cookies on your browser. Tools> Internet Options > Clear Cookies > click OK. Then back to the main page and log in with DD user name and password.

Just make sure you do the same when you want to post, or you'll end up doing it under her name....

Hi everyone!!

Cool, windy fall day here. We live on a wooded lot and the colors of the leaves are absolutely beautiful.

I guess I will be doing enough decorating at home for all of you. I put up all our Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving and leave them up till New Years!

My son went to homecoming a few weeks ago. Much different from girls. He got in the shower 15 minutes before he had to leave. I have two years till my daughter can go to homecoming.

Can't wait to hear what Shirley has to say about the trees.

Just a note: Besides my DH, chocolate is my best friend!!!

Judy

Hi Diana. I found the thread but thank you anyway. It is a small thread but there are a lot of nice people there also. A brunch?? That is a good idea. I will look into it. How was your trip to WDW. How is DD?? When you get a chance drop me an e mail and say hello and I look forward to hearing about your trip.

Have a nice day everyone-Gail

:sunny: Good Afternoon!!

Diana...Jordan went to the High School's Homecoming dance...she has friends that are 9th graders. The middle school's dance is next week, I think...and both of my kids are going. THAT will be weird, having my "baby boy" going to a dance!

I refuse to put up Christmas decorations here.....no way.
We're not going to be here. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
But I am going to over-decorate the room....does that count?

Gail....get the balcony already!!! Thanks for the brunch time...I wrote it down so I won't forget. (Like that will help)

I'm doing little stuff today...making our tip envelopes and thank you cards....stuff like that. Just fun stuff!

TTFN,
Stacey
