Happy Saturday all!

It started out overcast and looking like rain this morning, but now it's sunny and hot! We're catching up on much needed yard work. The mower belt broke and DH actually fixed it......don't know why that surprises me when he's in construction. I guess if you can build buildings, you can fix mowers. It all seems so mysterious to me......I have no mechancial inclination whatsoever.

Stace - 112 degrees when you got to the ballpark?! Yikes! And I know - it's weird that our Disney store has mostly clothes now. They used to have all kinds of nifty little Disney trinkets, toys.......not any more.

Weekend plans - yard work today then going to a friend's church tonight for their "Popcorn in the Pews". It's a family movie night they have every 2 weeks throughout the summer. Had "Finding Nemo" 2 weeks ago and tonight is "Atlantis". It's fun for the kids - they have a moon bounce outside first (youngest DS won't be doing that tonight with the broken collarbone), then the movie inside on a big screen with popcorn, snow cones, etc. Only 25 cents for anything - my kind of night!

Another wonderful Saturday in the ER.....

At least DW and DD got to spend some time at the pool - as it only rained early in the day...... Actually pretty nice outside when I got to spend a few minutes on the ambulance dock....

I met a bunch of strangers in chat last night - didn't get there until late - and none of the 10 day DISers were around.....

Good Saturday Evening to everyone! I've become more of a "lurker" than a poster. I just love reading about everyone's life. We had an impromptu party on our "veranda" Thursday night. Everyone enjoyed the rock fountain that DH and DS finished last weekend. The cosmos were flowing/ Buffett on the stereo and everyone had a great time. DS went on another dive today - gave him a credit for last week's when he didn't have such a great time. Nice surprise for Mom. Our weather has been superb so DD and I are heading to the beach tomorrow.
My aunt (who is going on the cruise with us) will celebrate her 80th b'day on Wednesday. I hope I'm able to have her great health and vigor when I reach that age. She keeps up with us - no problem at all. She talks about the cruise daily and is sure to mention it to anyone that will listen. She has no idea of the cost, as it is a gift from us. Just hope she never learns - I think it would ruin it for her.
Oh well - better get to those lovely dinner dishes.

Busy day here. KT had a friend over for a sleepover last night so this morning I had to deal with two girls who had seen about enough of each other. Both tend to be the bossy types, so it was getting ugly. Time to take her home! Then we headed over to the ribbon cutting ceremony for our new bike trail. The trail head is now in London and you can take it all the way to the Ohio River!! Eventually it will run from the Ohio River to Lake Erie! It's part of the Rails to Trails project. After that ohiomickey met us at the trail head and we went 9 miles!! Nick and I on bikes, ohiomickey and KT on rollerblades. Then a quick change at home and we were off for dinner, shopping and a movie (at Easton--looked for you, but didn't see you!) Saw Shrek 2. Pretty funny movie. Now it's off to bed. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

OK, Cindy, we won't tell your aunt! What a great niece you are!

Sounds like everyone was busy today. Hmm, I was pretty non-productive. Did watch a few more episodes of Gilmore Girls season 1, though. Just love that show.

We had a very showy thunderstorm here tonight. Not a lot of rain, but lots of drama. DH was walking around the house chanting for it to stop. I said, why, we really need this rain! Turns out he has a remodeling job going with a hole in someone's roof, covered with plastic sheeting for the weekend.

Does anyone have plans for the 4th? We'll be getting ready to leave for Vegas!

Good morning Well I guess it is morning. It is 12:30 am here and we just got in from the race. Another great day!

Slow start this morning after the late night. Got to the track about 10 am and then hung by the car and tailgated until about 4pm. The race was fantastic and we had fireworks after again.

Weather has been cool, but beatiful.

Tomorrow we'll leave once we are awake and head on home. Laundry and other fun weekend things await. ;I'll probably sign in again later ths morning.

Good evening!!! VERY busy day!!! Sounds like everyone is busy, too, and having fun. (Except maybe, for our hard-working doc!)
Jordan is probably going to be ready to be back here tomorrow...she won't like coming back to the heat, but she & her friend have probably had enough of eachother too!

I did some more of my invoices this am, then talked for way too long to my mom & brother. Ran out the door to meet my friend and go to the mall. I realized that I couldn't remember the last time I was there. Wait...it's coming back to me....I took all the kids and it was miserable! It was so nice to just wander. Seems like I've spent the whole summer at ball games & work.
I got Jordan some PJ's ($7.99) at the Disney Store, and a Hawaiian Pooh and Minnie plush for $5.99 each....full-size! They are sooo cute. Nothing else, though. Saving my $$ for the trips coming up.
Ran home, cleaned up, went to dinner, then came back here and we watched "Cheaper by the Dozen". It was cute.
Megan and Pete came & got the puppy at about 9:00. I can sleep in tomorrow!!

Our town has fireworks on the 3rd and the 4th. Will probably skip the 4th so that I can finish my packing if it isn't done.

8 DAYS , 12 HOURS.........LADIES DIS MEET IN LAS VEGAS!!!! Alert the media!

One more day checked off the calendar......

Happy Sunday morning all! Mary, glad to hear you and Mark had fun at the race. Doc, I was in chat til about 10:20 or so, and GaRry was there for a little bit. It was a nice group of people last night. Mostly newbies instead of regulars, but there were all nice to chat with. We had some odd ducks the week before though.

Stacey, when I asked about jewelry at the Disney stores a couple of years ago, they told me that none of them sell jewelry. There is some available in the catalog, but if you want jewelry, you have to go to WDW or a local merchant who carries it (Penneys and Wal Mart : ) carry it here.

Plans for the 4th? Well, DS heads off to a week of boy scout camp today, then my Mom is flying in tomorrow and staying through the 7th. Think kind thoughts for me. My mom can be a bit difficult to get a long with. And she's just decided that she's coming up to be with us in WDW before the cruise, since she hasn't seen my in-laws in several year !! I haven't broken that one to my hubbie yet! Anyway, she wants to see the WW 2 memorial, and other DC sights. I'll probably take off Friday and drive her and DD in to town for that. On the 4th, we'll probably just watch one of our local fireworks displays. They do them over the rivers here, so it's pretty to watch. We can see the best one from our base, so we get to avoid the traffic. Of course, DC does the BEST fireworks, but you couldn't pay me enough to deal with the crowds there!

Better close. Time to rouse the family so that we can drop off DS before we make it to church. 25 weeks doesn't sound so bad!

Good morning all! I'm awake, but Mark is still asleep. Once he gets up and around we'll hit the road for home with a stop for groceries (at a Wisconsin store we really like). It has been a fun weekend, but it really threw off my internal clock

Wish I could join all the DIS ladies in Vegas. Sounds like a fun time!

Hi all!
So far, I haven't done much of anything today. I guess if God rested, so can I.
Actually, I really should finish those invoices. I shouldn't even think about Disney jewelry until I get those out.

The heat is finally getting to me. I feel so sluggish. Oh well.

Anyway...no big plans for today. DD will be back home eventually, then the noise level will rise.

Tomorrow is our game day with the D-Backs. Wish they'd win one for a change.

Paul, you inspired me...guess I'll go throw some laundry in. I could ask DH to do it.......doubtful. He only does it if I'm out of town. And he doesn't separate!

We're home and the laundry is running. Got home in time for the start of the Nascar race - sweet!

Now I just have to sort through the mail and pay some bills.

Whew! We had a beautiful weekend. Ended up going to the beach with some friends. Got there at 10 and had to force ourselves to leave at 5. Our local cruise ship was in view most of the day - just leaves from our port and then anchors in international waters for gambling. Just made me miss the Magic even more!
Hope everyone had a great weekend. From what I've read, it sounds like it.

Jordan got home about two hours ago and went straight to bed. At least the girls didn't fight, DD had to call her friend as soon as she got home. Did they not talk enough the last 3 days? I just don't know where she gets this chatty-ness!
But she is asleep already. Betting they didn't do much of that!

Hope everyone had a good weekend, refreshed and ready to work tomorrow! Just keep thinking that it's just one less Monday till cruise time!

Cindy....I'm so jealous.....I would kill to live by the beach....even within a few hours!

Let's set it up! We were just there and kept saying we ought to come back just to shop around. Seems like everytime we go there we are on a mission and we can't browse.

Nope. Not at all. They get along together well! This girl we had kept putting KT up to asking for things and then acting like it was all KT's idea and she had NOOOOTHING to do with it. Part of the conflict could have been that they had spent nearly every day last week together in VBS and then several afternoons of playing and activities. I know I was MORE than ready to detox from her!
