Happy Monday!

Back to work for me, and back to my diet as well. I really fell off the wagon the last month or so and gained some weight back. So back on plan for me and I've got to get the old body moving too!

Ohiominnie & Ohiomickey - yes I would love to have a photo of you for the gallery!

Stacey - I got your e-mail a while back on the text change I need to make for you. Hopefully will get to it this week.

I'll also be working on the newsletter in the next couple of days and should have it out by the weekend. If anyone has anything to send me for it please do it today or tomorrow. Stacey has given me some great packing ideas.

Minnie, we're so glad you stayed with us. Dh was complaining about the cost last week. I told him that our part of the cruise is already paid for, and that quieted him down some (thank heavens for that tax refund!)

It's a beautiful day in Southern MD today. Temps topping out about 80 degrees, and very little humidity, which is VERY rare for us! I told my mom that we're going to do some sightseeing today when she gets off the plane, so she is going to pack her walking shoes in carryon. You don't get weather like this very often, plus it will save me another 120 miles on the van, since I'm already going to be up there to pick her up.

btw, just want to say a big "thank you" to whoever posted about the Disney store sales. I had a CD that I needed to return so yesterday seemed like a great day to do it..... $52 later, I'm not so sure....Of course, had there NOT been a sale, I would have spent WELL over $100!

I bought one of those Mickey print tropical dresses. I'll need to get back down to my low weight to fit into it, but that's good motivation! Got one for dd that fits now and I've told her she is NOT allowed to grow at all between now and December! That's the problem with clearance sales, never seem to have the sizes I need!

Sorry, Minnie.....I may have had a hand in that sale thing.

Lisa.....good thinking on taking your mom today. I'm not sure I'd have been quick enough to think of that. But my mom would probably complain she was too tired after her flight to do anything! And it's only a 2 hr flight for her. She called yesterday, mostly to vent about my brother, and then to tell me her plans for her visit in September. I didn't know she was coming in September. Oh goodie!

7 DAYS.............LADIES DIS MEET IN LAS VEGAS!!!!!!!
We're getting into the home stretch. Then my travels resume.
Back from Vegas for a week, and off to mom's for 10 days. Back a week, then to WDW to try to keep up with gaRry and Barb. Back from there for a couple of weeks, and Jay & I go to Las Vegas. Back from there for a few weeks, and mom comes....she'll want to go to Las Vegas.
At least I can say that I stayed home for the entire month of June.

Have I ever mentioned that I'd rather travel than stay home??
Maybe we should just buy a motor home. Bad idea. Then THEY would all be travelling with me.

Who has claimed 7000??? Lynda, was that you?

We'll hit gaRry's 10,000 easy!

Minnie, tell ohiomickey that he'll be forever shamed if we get the picture of us girls in Vegas to Mary before he gets your pictures sent!! And, yes girls, we ARE taking a picture.

Speaking of girls.....gaRry....if DW & DD don't go to WDW, you boys will really be outnumbered!!! Are you sure you're ready for that? Tell Vicki that I really want to meet her!!

Diana - I know. I remember on the Member Cruise that there were a couple of people who posted they were coming, but never got back to us about the meet etc. Never saw them on the cruise then they came back and posted that they had a great time but wished they could have met some DIS'ers

I've really enjoyed getting to meet eveyone through this thread and can't wait to meet in person.

Do you think if i went away they would come out from lurking?

Just checking in really fast before we go to the Diamondbacks game. I'm hoping my very presence will make them win one!
(I have a very high opinion of myself! LOL)

Mary, if I told my mom I was going to Hershey, she'd want to come along! Paul impressed her so much, now she doesn't think my internet friends are all axe-murderers!

If anyone gets the game on TV, you'll have to look for me....we're right behind home plate (a little to the right) on field level. I could jump up and down and wave.....but they'd probably throw me out for distracting the pitcher!

I have been reading some of the WDW trip reports (getting ready for the big event) and I'm a little curious about the things some people do.....they plan everything down to the last second (not that I'm not a big planner...I had laminated cards last time) but....they run from park to park, on and off the monorail, ferries, busses, back to the hotel, then run somewhere else....and then they can't figure out why their kids are crabby and not enjoying Mom & Dad's vacation of a lifetime!? They even drag babies around like this. What's up with that??? Why not just do one park a day?
Off my soapbox. It just bugs me.

Happy Monday all. I am finally back in Salt Lake and I am missing that Disney Store

Talk about withdrawals! Dang, I should have bought more stuff on that second trip. Now I really have a reason to go back to visit my parents in Boise. I usually only make one trip a year, but...........................

My mom and dad will think it's for them!!!!! Good daughter, good daughter

Okay, so now I am buried at work. A huge storm is coming through the valley right now with the whole thunder/lightning thing. I am sure the dog is hiding in some back corner (dark) and having a fit that I am not there. Oh well.

Anyway, I think my parents might be moving into a smaller home, they are putting in an offer. If that's the case, I am going to have to go back to Boise here in the next month or so to help them simplify their life. Nothing like going from 3500 sq. ft. to 1500!
Sounds like another Disney run to me!!

I am getting more and more excited for this cruise. Can't wait to give the grandkids all their new clothes and swimsuits for the cruise.
