And our final meet will be:

Drink Around the Monorail
Wednesday 17th December 2003

This tour will start at the Contemporary and then onto the the Polynesian and finally the Grand Floridian. At each resort we will head to the appropriate lounge bar and also spend time viewing each resorts "holiday" decorations.

Some of us are now eating at 1900 Park Fare it costs $24 per adult and $11 for children (these prices are subject to change by Disney), I can't add anymore to the PS but we're eating at 20.10 if others want to join in.

Park Admission will not be required.

It would be great to see some of our American DIS friends at any or all of the three meets we have planned.

One question, Sam. What time and where will y'all be meeting? Meaning in the GF lobby or the monorail platform or ?

Sure wish I could be there but <i>I</i> am not lucky enough to have a whole month at WDW You lucky thing.

The tour at this moment in time is starting in the Lobby by the Xmas Tree at the Grand Floridian - timings will be posted at the beginning of next week when we have a better idea of numbers for those who want to eat.

Shirley - what sort of time would you like to eat -maybe we could eat after the tour if need be as a suggestion?

Sam - since we'll be coming from one of the Universal parks that day, I was going to fit in with you rather than the other way around

I don't think we'd be back to WDW before 8.00pm and with son in tow he'll probably want to eat first.

Whoops...sorry, Sam. The Wishes Fireworks is at 7:00 P.M. and not 6:00 P.M. (spectromagic is at 6:00 P.M.) The Polynesian beach is another good place to watch the Wishes Fireworks.



Hello, Sam.

I just thought of something that might enhance your Monorail Tour. Since we are meeting at the Contemporary Resort at 5:30 P.M., WDW has added their Wishes Fireworks for 6:00 P.M. that night.

I wonder if you would like to watch Wishes, too.

I wonder if the California Grille would let us go out on their large, outdoor balcony to watch the Wishes Fireworks.

There is also another twin balcony behind the California Grille balcony on the other side of the tower, but I don't know if that one is accessable or if the view is any good.

Maybe the front lawn of the Contemporary Resort with their huge outdoor christmas tree might be a place to watch it, but I don't really know for sure.

Of course, this is just a thought.

If you can't get out onto the roof at the California Grill, we stood on the outdoor fire escape to watch fireworks when we stayed at the Contemporary a couple of years ago.
