2 weeks, 2 sets of BFF's, 1 incredibly lucky family! New PTR Link is up on last page!

once loaded on to the boat Patch told us different stories about the lake and he was very entertaining! Then it was time for the EMP!

then it was time for wishes!

Bob was just blown away by the whole thing, and how something like this even existed! I was grateful to the disboards once again! I would have never known about this if I hadn't found these boards so long ago! The kids and I were also blown away. We had done the private cruise the year prior with Sophia, but this was just as cool!

After wishes was over patch started a game of Disney Trivia... Jack did NOT get the concept and had the whole boat LOL! Patch would ask a question and jack would raise his hand so high and go ooh ooh oooh I know I know... OK, Jack, whats the answer.. uhm..uhm..uhmm.. You know where this goes!

Finally he asked such an obvious question and jack still froze, but patch let me answer and gave Jack a prize! A sweet pirate gun!

Once we docked, I thanked Patch a million times! He really made the whole trip and cost worth it! It is CM's like him that make Disney a cut above the rest!

Yay, we were so happy!



Almost as soon as we got back, Jack lost his new gun in the water ... doh!

The cm's were great and helped him fish it out!

I didn't help.. I lol and took pics..and thought, only us!

Another fun thing about the cruise, at the end, PAN is there! I was most excited about this! Once again, we were last in line lol!

This pan was amazing and we had him as pan earlier in the trip! Love when that happens!

Despite it being an "off" day, we were all beat by now, and headed back to the resort... but stopped to take pics of course!

When we got back, Jack got on his PJ's and was almost instantly asleep.. with a little friend in his hand.. AWE!

C3PO is his biff!

We all went to bed with huge smiles that night, and I was content with the awesome mom that I am

Ok after I told u I was getting rained on, the skies opened and it *poured*! Like, couldn't see at all and needed the hazard flashers on so others could see me kind of rain. Yuck!

Great update, Jenn. Sorry about the "fighting" with you and Bob and the rain. But it looks like dinner was great (we've yet to eat there) and that the pirate cruise was a huge hit. I really wish they had those things when our kids were small.

I love the review of your pirate thing!!! I can't wait for Brodie to get a lil bit older. Maybe in like 4 of 5 years if it's still going & Jack still digs pirates we will have to do it together.

I really hope we can make some time on your Dismoon to meet up & enjoy Dis. And if you need some alone time, don't hesitate to let me know! I'll gladly walk around the parks with Jack, Kayla & baby Brodie

I'm from the glenside area but I'm getting ready to move near King of Prussia to be a little closer to my job.

I always hear such great things about the pirate cruise.... Maybe I'll book one in the future!

Today we were up bright and early! We were doing DAK today and it had EMK. We got to DAK and headed over to tuskerhouse for our breakfast ADR. I was super excited to have bob try it here, we love it here!

While I checked us in, Jack and Bob made there way to the safari to get FP's. While there Bob had an issue with his card and the CM had to give him speacial FP.

They came back after a while and it was time for our DR. Idk why, or if it just my luck, but TH always seems like complete chaos!

With that said, the food was delicious as usual and the character interaction was fabulous!

All in all a great breakfast..although service here always seems to be lacking :/ We will do it again for sure!

After breakfast we headed straight to the safari... I could take this ride or leave it.. I know, I know..bad diser, but its not a must do for me!

The animals were out and about and full of life today! So while I don't normally care for this ride, it is fun if you catch them first thing in the morning!

Oh Girl, I lurve the Safari! (Or the so-fairy as Conner calls it). I just wish the drivers would quit the script and shoot from the hip. Some are better than others, and some sound just pain bored, while others are awesome & tell lame jokes! At least the Big Red or Baby Red or whatever story line is somewhat gone.

I think Tusker House may have to be our next character meal!

With full bellies and a Safari under our belt, we decided to head to the exploration trail!

Bob and the kids loved this, and I found it quite fun! The gorillas were awesome!

Naked Mole Rats.. I think..

Egyptian Turtles?? Idk, but they could use a bath!

After we left, we later found out that when a male gorilla stands like this following picture, it means he feels threatened! YIKES, glad he was on opposite side of us lol

Once done of the exploration trail we did Rafikis planet watch!

We watched the show on this guy for a bit

Then we ran into someone shorter than Bob

I remember being totally jazzed that Jiminy was there! Like a little too jazzed, ha!

After our awesome (to me) meet and greet we got to watch a green wing dove get worked on in the animal hospital!

After getting our fill of injured animals and species feces we decided to hot up some rides!

Headed to KRR and got FP's. This ride is fun, but the line is awful and ride is only worth it when you have a FP..IMO anyway!

In the mean time we went on EE and it was loads of fun as usual!

Once done here it was time to use our FP for KRR! Great ride when you can get right on

The plan was to do FOTLK after, but everyone else voted for ITTBAB

Of course after that it was now too late to see FOTLK :/ All was not lost though. We figured we'd take this opportunity to meet some characters and go potty!

Apparently she is the only one I found picture worthy lol

The kids also decided to get their last stations done for their book thingy

We were going to do FOTLK again, but we were all SOOOOOOO HOT and decided it would be a good time to head back to POFQ to cool down and rest!

The walk back to our van honestly felt like the worst day of my life! It was so hot and the black top was just spitting heat up at us!

Once back at POFQ we rested up and cooled down! Did I mention how hot this entire trip was??? Dreadfully hot!

With that said, tonight was a special night! It was DATE NIGHT!!! Tonight we had ADR's at Jiko, and the kiddies were going the Neverland Club over at the Poly!

I was a bit guilty about doing this.. although, idk why looking back! Nearly 2 weeks had been all about them, it IS Ok for parents to enjoy themselves alone too!

The kids were actually super excited about going here and got to fill out menus for what they wanted to eat.. big selection, and they like that they were able to help choose! Kids get a main entree, 2 sides, drink and a snack!

the whole set up was quite charming and they were very nice! We weren't allowed in the room with the kids, and they honestly didn't want us! We also used the 15% off coupon that you get in the Mickey Mail! I was excited to finally use something from that lol!

With teary eyed kisses (from me) and goodbyes we were on our way to AKL to dine at the highly recommended and raved about JIKO!

When we arrived at Jiko, we were seated promptly! Our server was Alvin!

While on dates, Bob loves to take pics of me lol

Much to my dismay the menu I saw online was different than what was available :/

Bob ordered the dips and I ordered the boboti rolls. We had to ask several times for bread.

I did not care for either app, and I did not like the dinner. We ordered the pork and steak, i didn't even get a pic! The food was very Indian like which I can not eat! Most Indian foods give me migraines and this was all very spiced :/ Total bust for me. Bob did enjoy it as he loves Indian, but was not impressed after how much I talked it up ..doh!

Also, go figure, while on date night , we were sat in between 2 tables of SCREAMING kids It didn't help that our entire trip of heat, fights, and full days of exhaustion seemed to be hitting us at that very moment .. DOH!

The saving grace was dessert.

I ordered the coconut bread pudding and Bob ordered the trio of chocolate!

Mine was out of this world, but I could only take a couple bites. My barely eaten dinner had done a number on me and I wasn't feeling great .. DOH!

Our original plan was to go to MK for EP but dinner took forever and we wouldn't make it in time :/ I was beyond bummed!

Tonight DHS had EMH, so we decided to go there. It was a MAD house!

We walked to TSMM and that wasn't gonna happen, so we went to One Mans Dream. Always a favorite of mine. We then did Muppets and star tours.

The night was kinda a bust ride was, but it felt nice to be in my favorite place alone with my favorite person

We did a bit of shopping and got some terrible PP pics lol

By some, I meant one.... lol

After shopping we decided to leave DHS and go back to the resort for a bit, before getting the kids......

We got to the neverland club right at closing time... oops! BUT, since we were so late, I was able to get pics!

Awe... my babies were exhausted!

It was SO mice in here and the kids said they had such a good time!

Although date night was sort of a bust, we still had a good time and it was nice to do Disney as an adult! Next time I wouldn't wait until the end of the trip to do it. We were so tired from 2 weeks of fun and it was just too much after a long , hot day at DAK!

Also, we highly recommend the sitters at Disney! Well worth the money!

Next up- we're splitting up....
