What’s for Dinner Tonight?

I’m prepping a slow cooker beef stew for the crockpot today. I need to spend the day in the garden getting lots of chores done, so it will be nice to have dinner pretty much ready around 5pm.
We’ll put it over some wide egg noodles and enjoy a bowl with a glass of Pinot noir.

Cheers to a happy Sunday, all!

It is a beautiful day! We decided to hit another shack. Today we tried Skippers in Niantic. Everything was really good. I had lobster bisque and a scallop roll. DH had New England clam chowder and a lobster roll. BFF had lobster bisque and whole belly clams. Her husband had calamari and fish and chips.

This caught my eye too. Can't wait to hear what you think of it.
It was very good but I wasn't able to prepare it as quickly as they projected. I made three packets. I cooked them in the oven for 20 minutes instead of the suggested 15 and it still wasn't cooked so I had to put it back in for 5 more minutes. Bottom line, very tasty but just a bit of a pain.

Sunday night we "celebrated" DH's and SIL's birthdays. DH is the 15th, on-in-law is the 17th, but last night was the most convenient time to all get together. DD to DH to an "old time movie" then all 5 of us had Thai takeout at our house.

Tonight... either BLTs or some sort of nachos or something with the leftover burrito filling from last week. We'll see how the spirit moves me, later this afternoon!
