160 extra Disney Rewards Points by asking...

still havent heard back.....although I sent it to the rewards department, perhaps that is the problem!?!?!?

I need to know where to send it too. I sent mine email to the rewards dept. and I received an email that they were forwarding it to the correct dept but haven't heard anything?

is everyone using their chase "email"?

Oh carp! I sent my inquiry yesterday morning to the rewards dept and haven't heard anything. Maybe I should've sent it as a general inquiry.

I'm dying to know!!!!!!

I sent mine to......Other/Inquiry not listed. I just looked it up.
I heard back within 4 hours, and my 100 in rewards was posted. :thumbsup2

I would think if it was sent to the wrong dept. that they would forward it for you to the right department.

I sent mine to rewards, and heard back almost right away that it was being forwarded to the right person, approx 24 hours later I got the real response (and got my extra points).

Where do you go to get the $2oo reward? I was about to apply...glad I saw this thread first!

I inquired and was credited $150 Disney Dollars. My mom inquired and was told to go ahead and sign up with the $200 Disney Dollar offer and then choose if whe wants to keep both cards.

She wrote back to say there is no website to take them up on that offer and if they wanted to point her in the right direction she would gladly do that.

Just waiting on a reply.

I sent mine yesterday morning under the "Other/Inquiry Not Listed" and they emailed saying they would forward it to the right department. But I have not heard back from them or seen a credit to my account.

Does no one but me smell something rotten in this? I can see how this may bite everyone in the wrong place later. Maybe fewer rewards? Who knows I just found myself reading this and I am a disney visa card holder and no I haven't contacted them. I don't think its right for me to turn around and ask for whatever current offer they have when I signed up the offer was what it was. I don't go to people who I purchased from before and ask them to credit me for something I've had and now see at a better offer. Why is this different? I just don't see why this is any different then when someone gets a room for less on auction site or an upgrade at the last minute. They don't give this to everyone just a few. I can understand if you got the card at the same time as the offer was made but to make requests months/years later shame shame. I say your killing the pixie people there won't be any dust if we are always so greedy as a society.

I understand where you are coming from. Its alot like PIN discounts. They don't have to give them everyone. And they don't have to explain why they don't give them to everyone or compensate others after the fact because they only offer it to a few. But they also want to keep customers happy and would have to understand if unfair reward offers was reasoning for people to stop utilizing them for credit services.

I think that are so many different signing up bonus promotions, they should streamline it into one so they wouldn't run into this problem. You can either get a $15 gift card, $40 gift card, or $50 statement credit depending on where you sign up. IMO the 200 reward point option does not seem appropriate to offer when others are only getting $15 especially if there is not a valid reason for some receiving the 200 points offer and other are not.

Still waiting.....
I wonder if I should re-send it but this time as a general inquiry and not a rewards inquiry??

They might be investigating why they are getting bombarded with all these, GIMME those extra points and that its not fair that so and so got yada yada yada and all I got was a dead mouse:rotfl2::confused3:rolleyes1

I think we got a 50.00 credit when we signed up....we've had it since 2007. Then last year we got hit with a decrease in our spending limit...they cut it in half. So now it's not even worth taking to Disney and would never cover our vacation for the 6 month interest free deal....but then it didn't cover our full vacation even before they cut our limit in half LOL

Just had to chime in here. I am a Disney Visa card holder, and I read this post about a week or so ago. I then emailed customer service. Went through the true speech of how I am a long time card holder and why can't i be rewarded...blah blah. I just felt it was my right to at least ask. Well, lo and behold a rep replies, apologizes for the promotion not being available to all customers and says she will deposit 200 Disney dollars in my account as a courtesy.,

I felt like I won the lottery! And I really believe there is nothing wrong with asking. Just asking. Why not? If they said tough noogies to me, well, so be it. But it never hurts to send a polite email. Really. It's not like I have my hand out to my friends or family begging. It's a huge corporation designed to take our money. We have the right to ask for something in return. No harm.
