Going :offtopic: for a sec...

Not food, but I had to share! I know how much we DISers love the monorail and the spanish line they use! Check out the shirt I got in Epcot!

The only place I saw it was a stand right outside the park, right next to the monorail entrance.

Bellesmom - Oh, I'm so sad you don't have ADRs! Please call immediately. People booked them 5 months ago for your time period.
You will have to be flexible with your times, dates, and places.

That said, if you don't get something you want, make sure you call when you are down there. Sometimes there are last minute cancelations.

But please don't depend on it.

There really is no such thing as walk ups anymore, and they definately don't keep any back.

IF you need something when you are there, don't wait until you are hungry. Call dining that morning, or go to the restaurant a couple of hours before you want to eat.

But please, please, please call now!!! :wizard: Here's a bunch of pixie dust to get you some ADRs!!!

Thank you everyone for your concern, I'm working with an expert I've found right here on the DIS to help me look at some options!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I'm sure we'll be able to find some good places that are still left, it just may not be the best of times!!!

Thanks again!!!! Have great trips everyone!!!

They have the monorail tee shirts in all the monorail hotels too...we were there last weekend and saw it at the Poly, GF and when I commented on it the CM at the GF said the CR has it too!..I love to check out the gift shops!

Great Pictures and awesome review! We can't wait to go next month!!!

Dumb question though, our agent didn't say anything about us needing reservations, but looking around it seems like some say they are necessary. Do you think we can try to walk up to the poidums and ask the waiter if we can eat?

tHey have to keep some tables open for walking-up people, right???

Ouch. I think I would have some words with that agent. What is their commission for if they don't give you really important advice? To encourage you, we have had very good luck with Kona which is our favorite restaurant when just walking up to the podium. We have also several times been able to get a reservation at Chef Mickey's when already there by calling early in the week and checking for cancellations. I have also had one time of being able to dine at the Grand FL Cafe without a reservation. good luck!!

OK first off I know that SAI gets A LOT of hate reviews, but I beg the differ - The service was great, atmosphere WOW and the food was actually pretty good. We didnt go in expecting Tex-Mex because you cant when you go to eat at SAI. Infact you cant expect unauthentic food from Epcot. Epcot only has authentic food. DH asked about the beef in our tacos, and according to the waitress, the beef they use in their tacos is the same beef you would find in Mexico. The beef doesnt taste like your normal ground beef you get here in the US in grocery stores. Its shredded spiced beef, and thats what made the tacos so good.

I would recommend SAI to everyone. Just dont go in expecting the same stuff you get at Taco Bell or other mexican places here in the US. Cuz if you do, you will be disapointed. Also for all those who complain the tables are to close together - I didnt think they were. Their no more closer together then all the other CS and TS places in Disney. And as for the lighting goes, its just that way. I know many people complain about the lighting in SAI. Its supposed to simulate night time. I found the lighting be very nice and romantic. Sorta like a soft candle light glow. We will be going back to SAI. Probably not next trip as we wanna try other countries, but we will be back!

Wow, I couldn't disagree more. SAI is the most unauthentic food in all of the WS.

I am from Mexico, My family has lived there, we are planning on returning to live soon AND we are from REAL Mexico, not a tourist town.

My husband and I thought the meal was no better than a taco bell. As far as the 'mexican cows' that's just crazy.

I thought that this arguement was over. Must it start again? Can't we just enjoy the reviews.
