I'm deleting my post, we have changed our plans. I really want to do a DCL one day, but Carnival announced they are going to homeport their new ship - the Magic - in Galveston. It is just too close/convenient to pass up trying. So we are switching cruises.

I have added your thread to the cruise meets list :thumbsup2

We are looking into this cruise, anybody want to go!!:cool1:

Hello,

We are only days from booking out Christmas 2011 WDW holiday and Cruise on the Dream. :santa: I am sooooooooo excited. I am a Disney and Christmas Nut so this cruise is going to have me on cloud9:

I should introduce my family, Me 34 :santa:, DH 32:dancer: DD 5 :cheer2: DS 3:cool2: we also have a cute cat :tinker:

We live in Sydney Australia, my husband and I are both Police Officers and I also have my own Cupcake Party Business. We love to travel and we love celerbrating all the holidays christmas and halloween are our favourite. Halloween is not a traditional holiday in Australia but I am converting my friends and family. :scared1:

I love scrapbooking, sewing and cake decorating. I plan on making custom themed clothes for my family to wear at WDW and on our Cruise. I can't wait to start making gifts and treats for all of the lovely people that we are going to meet in this group.

I am hope more people sign in soon and join me in the 365 day count down to our cruise. I plan to make this next 12 months lots of fun.

Have a great day & happy planning
Jen :santa:

We are going on the Dream February 13 - 17th, 2011 and getting married on castaway cay! While on-board we will book for this christmas cruise. We are super excited about both cruises. I also am a Christmas fanatic. I am a nurse so it is hard to get off for the holidays, but I will for this cruise. You job is like mine...always open!

Hi all - just booked this cruise as a B2B with the 12/18 date. We were originally booked for the Spring Break week, but December is looking much better for us than March.

We'll be a family of: me (40), DH Scott (41), DD (14), and grandma Pauline, who will be celebrating her 70th birthday on the ship.

This is our second Disney cruise...the first was this last March, 7 night Western on the Magic. We loved it so much we rebooked another date onboard.

So looking forward to spending the holiday with Mickey!

Laura :santa:

My Mom announced that she was taking the family on the Christmas Cruise 2011 as part of our Christmas present for this year. She gave us the same awesome present 8 years ago on the Wonder. There will be seven of us sailing ages 21 years and up....We are in balcony rooms, category 6. My Mom is the BEST:banana:

My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary on the Feb. 27 Dream Cruise. Two Dream Cruises in one year will be AMAZING!!!

My husband and I love to travel and scuba dive. We spend a lot of vacation time out west hiking, fishing, and four-wheeling. I work for local government in Emergency Management and my husband is a Forester.

Hi Everyone! I am so glad to have found this thread! We have booked our cruise to escape the same ole same ole family obligations and drama that bore us year after year! I am Karen, my husband is Robert, we are from Burlington, NC. We have booked a separate cabin 6 decks away for our sons who are (Sean) 24 and (Patrick) 17, to keep then occupied and keep them out of our hair, we are bringing Seans fiance and Patricks girlfriend. We have chosen not to tell them about the trip, but we are dropping clues to keep them guessing. The first clue was "South, Sun, Water" Trying to think of other clues without giving it away. I read about the fish extenders and that makes me laugh, so that might be the next clue. :rotfl: This is our first Disney cruise and I am concerned that the teenagers will be bored. Look forward to reading more posts as we get closer to Christmas! :santa:

Sounds like you're having as much fun preparing as it will be to go. If your sons are as computer friendly as young people are now days, they'll search for "fish extenders". See you there.
