BTW quick DD update while I am online.

She did really well with the drops until this morning when she finally figured out that when we come to her with the dropper it is never a good thing. Her eyes looked much clearer this morning just a real little bit of crusty stuff in the corner after sleeping for 12 hours so I figured she was OK. The daycare called just before her 9:00 dose and told me that her eye was a little weepier than they would like but they would clean up her eye, give her the drops and see how she did. They said they would call back if they noticed anything and so far no phone call so hopefully whatever it was cleared up quickly.

Now I just have to worry about the rest of us!

My DD got it, and we fixed her all up, then I got it while on vacation in Jackson Hole. Because I only have one working eye, and of course got pink eye in that eye and later the other, we went immediatly to the Jackson Hole Hospital. I could not wear contacts, so we went to a movie and put the drops in. My eye did not feel better, it kept getting yuckier. When we got out of the movie. My one good eye was blood red. Not kidding, filled with blood. To make a long story short, the opthomologist at home discovered I was allergic to the pink eye medication and the blood vessles in my eye had burst. Super fun! I looked like on of those evil snakes with red eyes for 3 weeks.

ETA: they are coming in concert to the Ford Ampitheatre in Tampa 11/22 - a WED for crying out loud! Why can't they do these things on a Friday or Saturday night?

So let me be sure I understand this correctly. We are to risk being put off the ship in the next exotic Caribbean port-of-call for jumping on DR tables during pirate night?

Hmmmm.........

No brig on the Magic. Check.

Travel interruption insurance purchased. Check.

We're in! pirate:

Before I leave, counted the number of computer terminals in our local Library branch. There are 40 terminals in/around the main area and 10 in the kids' area. Could be why there's no time limit and never a wait.

Did I say yet today: I love our Library!

Bye all! Congrats early to the pirate: nabbing 39,000! :thumbsup2

That could not have been fun. Y'ouch! I guess there is no way of knowing if you are allergic to it until you have to use it. My eyes just hurt thinking about it!

Okay , I will give you some what of the short version

My Mom went in for Back surgery Friday, she is fine but I have been running back and forth to check on her when Dad has been at work , Because of that my plane building has been delayed so I am behind on that . DS 14 became ineligible for football with only 2 games left cause he getting an F in Band ...Holy s#it Band ??? I couldnt believe it ..It appears that when he was supposed to be performing at the Varsity game he decided not to perform but just watch the game with his friends and he got caught ...Dumb a** ..anyway since the band director saw him he loses 65% of his grade in band ,,,which he had an A now its an F ...He is the starting receiver for the freshman team and Coach wants him on Varsity next year , they were undefeated till last week couldnt play and they lost big time ..DS feels like crap cause he let his team down , so he has been bummed ...other then that ...its okay ...Im stressed cause being a coach myself I know what it feels like when you have a player you need out there ...and hopefully this wont effect his aspirations to play for USC after High School ...Okay , you gotten more out of me in this post then over the last 6 months ....lol

Todd - hope your mom is doing ok.

I can't believe that about DS....65% of your grade for ONE missed performance? That's nuts! I would be livid. And for the teacher, I don't believe that is any way to teach a child a lesson.

I guess I am lost.

Well, no perfume lady at the gym today. But I happened to watch the View and the She Sheppard was on. They showed the McSteamy shower scene again. And elaborated a bit more on the divorce, not much else. But in the previews it shows McSteamy saying to Addison, "he doesn't know the whole story does he?" What could that have been? Did I miss something?
Addison never told McDreamy that she and McSteamy were living together after McDreamy left.

Before our doctor percribed the drops she asked if DD was allergic to sulfur drugs(the eye drops have sulfur). My Mom did have a reaction to a sulfur antibiotic and had to go to the hospital once, but DD is not allergic (yet known)

:grouphug: wow - living with a football coach...all I can say is - I understand!!! My boy are too little for their lack of attention to football to impact school and grades...but I can see how that happens.

hope your mom is doing well.

Because Marching Band is an extra credit or elective or whatever you want to call it if you miss a performance it could change the grade , but keep in mind this was an unexcused absence ...Basically ditching ....and in the hand book proir to them join parents and gaurdians have to sign it clearly states in there what missing 1 performance can do if it is unexcused ....
