I love Snickers and Reeses - both of which my DH is allergic to.![]()
becka said:I was just mortified and angry and getting progressively more worried about our trip where every meal we have to eat out! We have been eating out with the kids since DS was about 3 weeks old and we have NEVER had to leave a restaurant for the kids behavior. A few times we have taken the kids out at the end of the meal and one of us stays behind to take care of the check but nothing like this. Unfortunately DDs behavior continues to get worse in this area and I am really afraid we have made a mistake with this cruise. I just dont want to fight with her all the time and I am afraid we will be. I know you guys say you can entertain her and that may work for a while but there are times (more than I care to imagine) where she just has it in her head that she does not want to sit still and no amount of entertainment will work.
I was actually considering just seeing if we could leave Allie with my parents for the week but I just dont think I could do that. This is a family vacation and I dont want to leave a big part of our family out. I know she will enjoy a lot of things so I think the guilt would kill me. Of course dealing with her may as well .![]()

After reading your original post I figured it was this type of situation. Unfortunatly there really isn't a whole lot her teacher can do. I seriously hope the admin. is trying to find a different placement for this child. Again, these things unfortunately take time due to red tape and paper work.lbgraves said:What I have been told is that the title one phylosophy is that if you take that child out of the classroom they will lose instructional time and their scores will drop (IOW EOG tests). Why don't they see that if they leave that child down they will have the scores of the other 22 kids in the class drop because they are afraid of what the psycho will do, the teacher loses instructional time for everyone, and noone is going to get their work done???I am really feeling that I am going to have DD moved. DS's teacher said that she wouldn't want her child in the same class with "that boy" when I mentioned she was afraid to go to school.

becka said:You guys are all being so nice to me.I really hope that she will be fine. I am sure we will be able to handle her. She really did well last year but that was before she could walk or talk.
My big hope is that she gets along with Haley because she does love to watch other kids her age.

I don't think I will be able to stick around to the next milestone. I have to get some work done and then I have a training session to attend at 10:00.![]()

Our strike was in 2001 and we had to make up all the missed days--spring break and most of the Monday holidays had to be used to make up the days. That was the year I was PTO president and unfortunately I had to be very careful to have no opinion or it might be construed to be a PTO stance. We had to remain neutral.
You got that right on the money!!!ds2Mom said:This is Disney....not the QM2. You have the support of DIS behind you 100%.
The Adams Family said:I have no choice, i live in wisconsin. I have been buying stuff for the last 2 months. i just wish i knew what size i will be wearing by cruise time. i may have to shop in florida. i am hoping to have another 40 pounds off by the time we leave, which would then make it 150 lost since june.

lbgraves said:So...DD & the kids in her class have been instructed to run out into the hall way when the "bad kid" does something to threaten them. So far his favorite thing to do is pick up a chair and hold it above his head then throw it. I really don't want her in the same class with him but that would require me to take her away from her teachers & friends to go in another class & that would be stressful for both of us. She stopped crying in the mornings a couple weeks ago. I really do not want her to go thru that again. This is the same kid who threatened her & another girl that he was going to bring a knife to school & cut them.![]()
