I'll miss out on dinner at Port Canaveral; our flights don't land in Orlando until dinnertime. Once you wait for luggage and get to the port, I figure we'll just be grabbing something quick late.
Of course, I'm still trying to solve the transportation question... there are 11 of us arriving on 3 different flights, scheduled to land within an hour of each other on Friday night. Lots of luggage, too, of course. And after the cruise, 2 are going to the airport (but have a later afternoon flight), and 9 are spending time at Universal and flying home Sunday.

We're in the same boat.....er ship.......whatever.

I just did a bad thing.

Disney Direct is having a daily deal on their costumes some $17.99, I ordered Samantha the Pocahontas, Mulan and Jasmine costumes, shoes and accessories. Got to use the Familyfun code for 20% off that and had to get to $75 for free shipping......

This whole thing doesn't make sense. One of DS's friends got a 2 day suspension in Kindergarten for joking around with his friend saying "man, I'm going to kill you for that." He had no malice when he said it & got punished. A boy in DS's Kindergarten class brought a toy gun to school & was suspended. OY! Hearing that middle & high school students get away with serious threats really makes me upset!

It's very upsetting. I just don't understand why they're not taking more action in this day and age when there is so much school violence.

IWell, I need some help on this matter. I had my first dress fitting on Saturday, it was great, however, I found out the my slip (big poofy thing going under dress, not sure what it is really called) can not be put into a bag or squished. We are flying down and I will be bringing my dress on the plane, however, how the heck am I going to get this thing down there???????? I was thinking of shipping it but Jennifer, the wedding coordinator said you can't ship it to thier offices and said to bring it on the plane. The ladys at the dress place said that if it gets squished that the measurments for the hemming will be off.....any ideas or suggestions?????

If it's made out a mesh netting, it's a Crinoline. You might be able to have it professionally packed (dress and all) at a good dry cleaners. This is what most people do to their dresses after the wedding. One word of warning, peek inside the box to be sure its YOUR dress in there.

Then take it on the plane.

I can't believe the wedding coordinator was no help! I thought for sure they had a plan for moving elaborate dresses around the country. Do find out if someone is available to adjust the hem if necessary on the ship. I have heard they can adjust a Tux if necessary and the same service may be available for you.

Or, get the dress shop people on your side and find a hem/crinoline/underskirt that can be packed. I know you have picked the exact right dress on the outside but find someone with some imagination to help you find the underskirt that is right for the dress and the travel. There are choices available. Don't let a seamstress make your decision for you.
