I am trying to get some ironing done but I just don't feel like standing that long.
lbgraves said:April, I posted before but it didn't show up. How about requesting a Congratulations GM & GP cake for the first night to be delievered to your parents or ILs? Also, DISers could bring over small gift bags with baby blankets, wipes, rattles, bottles...see how long it takes them to figure it out?

Holy cow...we do not turn anyone away!!!! I am serious. Not just where I teach...all of the schools in our area! We love love love band kids! I have never heard of a kid getting turned away before college! Maybe from jazz band or something because they only need a certain amount of each instrument. I am seriously in shock from your comment!ruley3 said:SO does anyone have kids in band?? We are just getting started and I am wondering how deep it gets.... My DS is wanting to play the Tenor Sax and there are tryouts and only one kid gets tenor and 5 get alto and that is all for the entire class! He REALLY wants it and I told him to practice practice practice....
