good morning all

well we finally booked our hotel for friday. we are staying at ron johns. it actually works out better for us since we have 14 people going in our group. we only needed 2 rooms instead of 4 at the other hotels.

did any read that we might get to see the shuttle launch on the 8th or maybe even the 9th. as of right now the launch is schedule for the 7th of dec at night but nasa stated that because of it being a night launch it could easily end up being delayed

OK then everyone has weekend homework....I will be the teacher everyone hates ! Come up with the most complex mathematical expression that will produce the result answer of 9. Bonus points awarded for those who use Calculus.

Our modem keeps cutting on & off. DD & I were up all night and now I am popping pepto. DH took DS to soccer. DD had a fever before they left so she had to miss out on the team picture. I am trying to get some ironing done but I just don't feel like standing that long.

Lisa, I hope you and DD start feeling better soon. Try to get some rest, the housework can wait a day or two.

April, I posted before but it didn't show up. How about requesting a Congratulations GM & GP cake for the first night to be delievered to your parents or ILs? Also, DISers could bring over small gift bags with baby blankets, wipes, rattles, bottles...see how long it takes them to figure it out?

This is a great idea! And again, congratulations April. It will be so memorable to be able to announce this on the cruise.

Sorry I missed chat!!! We went to dinner and a movie with my BIL and SIL. We saw the guardian. I go to movies for the sheer enertainment value. I don't need to have some greater meaning. That being said, I loved it! I really enjoyed myself. I did think of you guys, but needed to spend some time with DH. You know that week we all had last week at work, and Karen's this week. He had it this week...

April, congratulations! I am actually really jealous, so good for you!

Going to the game and then DD's Ice skating marathon lesson today...

It says Knoebels 26th Annual Columbia Montour Visitors' Bureau Covered Bridge Festival is on Oct 6th, raft fair only, then Oct 7 & 8Th, craft fair and rides open.
Sounds doable for the 7th!

October 7th is most certainly doable for us as well!!!!

I am playing catch-up. I did pretty well at the yard sale. I made 226 dollars! I sold every single piece of baked good type item. I made 61 on baked goods! This morning a man came and said...I want it all. I asked if he was serious...He said...no I'm Tom, but I do want all of your baked goods! I all but went running for a big box!!!

The money is all gone...We had a coal delivery today...$320!!!!

They have covered bridges in the park. There are lots of crafts and that type of hoopla.

ok so here is some news that has put me in SEVERE SHOCK!!!
Remember I have DS 11 and DS 2 and now according to a little stick with a FAINT line that there will be another so today I smiled cried smiled cried ..... My dh said to not cry and I said I gave away all my baby stuff and WE NEED a BIGGER HOUSE!!! But hey it was only one test and I have another that I will take on SUNDAY....I am not sure how I feel... Last time we planned this time

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! A faint line...will turn into a dark line by Sunday. You can always buy more baby stuff...this is exciting!!! God wanted you to have this little babe...that is why you are seeing a little line. You are blessed .

SO does anyone have kids in band?? We are just getting started and I am wondering how deep it gets.... My DS is wanting to play the Tenor Sax and there are tryouts and only one kid gets tenor and 5 get alto and that is all for the entire class! He REALLY wants it and I told him to practice practice practice....

Holy cow...we do not turn anyone away!!!! I am serious. Not just where I teach...all of the schools in our area! We love love love band kids! I have never heard of a kid getting turned away before college! Maybe from jazz band or something because they only need a certain amount of each instrument. I am seriously in shock from your comment!
