ok confusion time...now would you drive with DN and then count on DH to get DD's packed and meet you in FL or would you all just go to GA (and would their schools be ok with all those missed days. (i know my dd's school wouldn't.)

Yes it is her DH. I would be going with either just me, or more than likely, me and DD3. Remember last time I left her with him when I left earlier she cut off the hair at the top of her head! DH and the other 2 would fly down Friday after school. That's my plan whether I go with my niece early or not, although DH still insists I should fly down.

I'm trying to move excursion ressies around. I had to book the package to get the 11am time slot for the rays. For whatever reason it has only been available at this time with the package. I did get DH a ressie for 11am just for the rays, but I will have to keep DD and I as the package. I guess I can change it onboard since we have the timeslot. I just don't think we'll have time for snorkling or bike riding that day and that would be a waste.

I drove DD to school and went to work. (heigh ho heigh ho! ).
DD was standing beside me with her bookbag over her shoulder waiting for me to get off the board so we could go.

Me too!!! I told the nurse at the hospital that I didn't like it because it was going to hurt. She said "Honey, do you realize you are here to have a baby today? This should be the least of your worries!"

ROFLMAO!!!

The thought of childbirth use to make me turn green. I had to get over that pretty quickly once we found out that we were pregnant.

Ouch! You sound like my sister!! But try watching them have a hard time getting a needle into your baby! I thought DH was going to punch the one male nurse when he stuck DD12 about 6 times before giving up!

I was 6 months pregnant when DS was 18 months and in the hospital for dehydration. That was so difficult. They finally took him to another room to have an IV put in and wouldn't let me in the room. I stood outside the door of his room & cried while listening to him screaming. IDK how long it was but when DH got there & saw me he asked where DS was & realized that it was him crying. I couldn't take it anymore & I went right into the room. The poor thing looked like he had track marks up and down one arm. They were taking a break. Of course his veins kept blowing you idiot! He has been here with dehydration since 12:30 and you are just trying to give him an IV at 4 pm. He had been sleeping until they started poking at him. I stood by his head and stroked his forehead reciting One Fish Two Fish and got him to calm down. I heard the nurses talking and realized that they were going to try the other arm. I told them to stop & put it in his foot but they didn't want to imobilize him. OY!!!!!!! They put it in his foot. Then I heard one telling the other what to do. I stopped her & told her sorry but my baby wasn't going to be her guini pig anymore and she wasn't to touch him again with a needle. It went in the foot quickly & he went back to sleep. The lab tech showed up an hour later and couldn't get blood from his arm. She kept pulling the needle in and out. I told her that she had enough blood. I was LIVID when the doctor came in 30 minutes later and after telling him what had happened said that they only needed to prick his finger. That hospital got a nasty letter from me when we got him home!

Dina was in bed with DH and I the other morning and I had brought up the cruise. As we were talking, Dina started to say "remember that boy...." I quickly distracted her from the subject!!

Now DS is incognito! I didn't expect him to be in such a scandlous relationship at such a young age!

My New Nephew was born today!!!!

His name is Slate. He was born at 2:05 AM. He weighs 8 pounds and is 20 inches long! He is a real cutie! Mom barely made it to the hospital!!!! She never got her IV and the baby was born without breaking down the bed....just like her second! My brother was frantic driving there...but thank the Lord everything turned out just fine.

Congrats! So glad everything turned out okay.

I do chicken and BBQ sauce a lot, comes out delicious.

I've never heard it called WallyWorld either. I thought they made a park or something somewhere and named it after the Vacation one also.

Its 6:15am on the first day us lowly 75-day ressie makers can book, and I already don't see any availability for Palo brunches or the Fury Catamaran trip in Cozumel. Is that normal??

Yes, it's really hard to get Palo and popular excursions at the 75 day mark. You can still get Palo by going and getting the ressies as soon as you board. They hold back something like 50% of those ressies. As far as the Fury Catamaran I'm not sure if they hold back any ressies on those but you can always ask Guest Services. Maybe they can put you on a list if anyone cancels?

I had an IV with both kids. DS was induced but DD started on her own. I ended up getting epiderals with both of them. That was the thing that I was terrified for before DS. It was the first thing that I told them I wanted when I went in for DD. I am a convert!

Same here. I was absolutely TERRIFIED of getting an epidural the first time and actually figured I wouldn't get one. I gave in and got one and so when I went in for DS it was the first thing I asked for.

good mornin everyone

well we got most of our excursions booked early this morning but could not get the beach excursion in coz or of course palo brunch. i guess i will have to try and figure out a beach excursion for us on our own. has anyone ever done this before and if so any tips would be great.

IV's don't bother me, but that epidural, it was awful, YUK!

My first epidural was painless and wonderful. I slept after they put it in and didn't even want to wake up to push.

My 2nd was a horror story though, they put it in wrong and I got a nerve jolt through my right side and then it never really worked to relieve the pain because it was properly put in. I felt EVERYTHING! I know how natural childbirth must feel and I wouldn't ever want to do that again.

It is funny that you guys are talking turkey and dressing. I have been craving a big pre-Turkey Day meal lately. I was going to buy a turkey breast and the grocery store and all they had was cajun style. Not what I wanted....oh , well maybe this week and I can even cook it in the crockpot!

You guys have me craving turkey! I have a couple turkey breasts in my freezer, I think I need to go drop one in my crockpot! I never thought of crock potting it.
