hubby is a single engine pilot - the weather is a little tougher with a small plane LOL. (moaning)

Yes, we use crop duster jets to get to Charlotte. :(

last fall for the F&W festival I printed out scads of stuff from allears and carried around all day at Epcot and never took it out to look at it. just too busy.

you can use the snack credits just about everywhere now which is great and more flexible. sometimes it is fun to just fly by the seat of your pants.

I'm getting to the serious moisturizer stage in my life - lol. after a summer in the sun I really need it.

I heard Madonna is complaining about how old her hands look and ordered tons of fancy gloves to cover them up. mine are getting pretty sun damaged too.

where do you order Elemis from? there are some advantages to living in the boonies - we don't have any fancy products. I love going to L'Occitane at the Orlando airport.

elaine

I order it from timetospa.com. It comes from the UK. I am in the boonies too!

yes that's it - I think she had called Disney park merchandising though and they didn't know what she was talking about. but now they could probably call CBR for her and figure it out.

I don't know about ebates Lisa - fill us in. Disney changes their prices so often that it kills me to pay more than necessary for their stuff. LOL.

Kristina...DH said that he wants to take the kids to the science museum on Friday afternoon. Do you know what he is talking about? I found this.

Yes that's probably it. It's right across inner harbor from the aquarium.

I never been but i think they have a cool 4d IMAX or something like that.

talking about crop dusters - one night we were trying to land in Idaho or some god forsaken place (anyone from Idaho?) and it was pitch black out and out of nowhere there was this other plane swooping and flying really low to the ground and then spiraling up - I thought he was a kamikaze pilot. I was terrified. turns out he was a crop duster. LOL.

sorry, I 'm a big city girl.

I have seen the stores in NY and Chicago, but I have never tried it. I can't wait to tell DH he now has to make a decision about what type of pillow to use. He is going to look at me like I have gone insane.

Kim

Or he might think it is so cool, you get to cruise DCL next year too :thumbsup2
Pj

Kristina, he already wants to go to two of the planetarium shows and the two demo stage shows. This kid loves learning this stuff. :)

hey we can have our own Exotic Rasul right in the shower with all the new scrubs and gels. LOL.

has anyone had this spa experience?

elaine

DH and i did the rasul (hey a new term for pricing) on our second DCL cruise. (No DD that trip.) The mud part was nice but then they want you to get into the steam room (and let me tell you it was boiling hot in there, we're talking burned by the steam hot. :furious: ) and you put some sea salt exfolient on knees/elbows. Well DH put it on his leg too and the next day something happened while at CC. DH came out of the water after wading and he had a horrible rash all over those areas that were exfoliated. We never did find out why he reacted like that. I was fine.

The hair products in the rinse down shower smelled really nice.

The spa used to carry steiner hair products and i really loved the hair masque they had. Very aromatic. I can't describe it. Well don't you know they discontinued it about a year or so ago.. They finally have some new hair stuff out so maybe i'll stop by onboard to see what the new line smells like.

I am thrilled there will be new pillows & bedding. I am severely allergic to dust mites. I have to bring my own allergy pillow case to put on the pillows otherwise I wind up having an asthma attack.

Is there anyway you can find a reply posted on a thread? I asked some questions a while back about formal night but was not diligent about checking everyone's answers and now I can't figure out where it is.

Oh well I will just ask them again. DD & I have long semi formal gowns for formal night. DH & DS are thinking of just wearing white shirts, ties and dark pants. Are they dressed formally enough for the evening? DD gown is much more formal than mine but I just had to splurge on it.

i have work to finish so i need to get off of internet. I'll check back in before i go to bed later.

I went to the hands on science museum at the inner harbor when I was a kid. I still remember how much fun I had! My Dbrother and I loved it!

what are considered the milestones so that you can post a pirate? I think they are every 100 posts so I though I would try to help someone get one tonight.

My DD's dress is knee length (but strapless and velvety) unless i find another one.

i haven't decided for myself yet. If i get myself a little more motivated i have a 2 piece halter/skirt formal dress that would work. i have a couple other black dresses too that are long but not screaming "prom" more like xmas party. (one thing i've got for this cruise is evening wear. i got about 5-6 nicer cocktail like dresses right now so decisions decisions.)

oh wait, i need to pack light.....(RIGHT....like that will happen  )

I'm trying to talk DH into getting a tux but since we need a jacket for polo dinner anyway i might (big MIGHT here) consider letting him wear black suit.
He usually brings 2 jackets and trades off. Some people go alot less formal. (like the newlywed guy at our table who wore his favorite t-shirt each night and brought his refillable beer mug to the table while his new wife was sick ie pregnant down in the cabin. He was classy.)
