Night everyone! I'm just not feeling chatty tonight. Bummed about DH's trip. Also thought that I had a 2 pm flight and was going to get the kids, come home & have a neighbor take us to the airport around noon. Well...the flight is at 12:27 so I need to get them right at 11:30 and go the 10 minutes to the airport without any stops. I guess that we will have to pay for parking afterall.
Just when you think you have it all figured out -
action-smiley-077.gif
but please know  :flower3: pixiedust: coming your way!
You've been so supportive and if I could get there and drive you myself I would. I hope it all works out.

I found it on Guinness World Records website.

John has his challenge and I have mine....

I was looking for my goal, yes on the Guinness World Record website.

I was looking for the "heaviest woman". Now, that is a challenge I am up for, and I am well on my way...

You know. I thought I was being a good wife letting my DH go watch the game there and he got hit on. In fact he got propositioned! I was so upset! I am sure it was a big flatter for him, but it really ticked me off. What kind of female goes to wdw to pick up on a married man? Now I don't want him to go...

Kim
Kim, he declined the offer and, I assume, told you about it. Take it as compliment. :)

well, tonight I can join you on that one! I just can't stop eating today. I think it's emotional. Today I am feeling worried for Lisa. Nothing worse than being nervous about something, not sleep well and then have to travel with children.... Good Luck Lisa!

Yes, he told me and was all blushy about it. He could not believe it had happened to him. I really do think he was flattered. But seriously, what kind of woman does that?

went down to the beach and WOW - what a gorgeous evening. We played on the swings/slides and then came home. Grilling out steaks again with some nice honey glazed carrots and potatoes and onions.
YUM!! I broiled steaks for us with fried yellow crooked neck squash and a salad. Oh, and DD brought home some apples from a friend's tree so DrHug got an apple pie for dessert. :goodvibes

Becka- Your DD is always welcome to stay with us at CC while you and your DH go to SB for awhile. I am sure she will play with the kids or even take a nap at eh beach. Don't worry about it, you would also be amazed at how behaved children are for other people!!
Same with us, Becka. If they will play with Aaron we could certainly play Grandma and Grandpa for awhile so you can see SB. :sunny:

And you know what, I just checked and goofy for life posted on 12/22/04... She has been here forever, just not the first.... bubbasmom and Angie are close after that, and then PJ who looks the same after 2 years...., and then Brack, and Mum, slindamood. You all have really stuck it out! I am impressed. How did you know you could really do this that far out?

kim
We have a stubborn streak at our house! We want it, we make it happen. :wizard:

We booked this cruise and our Dec 2005 cruise while we were on the Dec 2004 10 day. We love to cruise the first two weeks in Dec and the DD was just more temptation than we could stand.

I'm a little slow but is Lisa flying up to MD to be with DH his last week and for graduation?

Not to worry her but she might want to batten down the hatches before she leaves since they don't know which way the storm is going..... :scared1:

Worried for V too.... and everyone else possibly in the path of the storm. You guys remember Kathy, she's at the "World" with her family this week. Hope they took plenty of ponchos.

So while DrHug and I were enjoying our apple pie tonight he asked me how I was going to ship these pies. I said Fed-ex overnight. He asked what would happen if they got turned upside down?? :confused3 So, I have to think about the logistics of this. popcorn:: I have a month or more to figure it out since the honey crisp apples will not be in season until then. I'm thinking and open for suggestions.

Do you know if the storm has stayed a tropical storm or is it a hurricane again?

You are darling, but you do not have to ship pies! Good grief! My MIL made the most wonderful crust and DH just says, It's ok Kim, you don't have to try, just go buy one... And I am serious here. I can make everything else she did and DH actually likes mine better except her pie crust. It is just so hard to find a real pie cook these days who makes the crust from scratch. DH says his mom used lard. I don't even know where to get lard...

Last I heard it was down to tropical storm, but has some open sea to go across and may pick up again.
