I teach a class of sunday school kids who are 6 and 7. Today we dressed up like biblical heros. It was so fun! I love kids. They don't gossip, they tell you up front if they don't like your dress and if they are hungry, they just say it!
Boy that's the truth. They do tell it like it is.

We get along with all ages really. Little ones are great and half the Newberg High School Band now call us G & G after our trip to DL with them. I see them in the grocery store now and it's "Hi, Grandma!" Makes me :)

Well that's another fear... What if it feels so great that I just can't get enough. ;)

Now THAT is a really big problem. Just talking about it makes my back hurt....

Can I just tell you how funny it was to see this little kid with a high voice wearing a grey wig and grey beard and a sheet pretending to be Moses! What a hoot!

Oh yeah and you know what else, After 20 years of massages I still leave my undies on. I don't feel comfortable being totally nude and no one has ever given me any grief...

I always leave my undies on! Joyce has a small bathroom I get on dressed I go into the room lay on the heated table and cover up. She then comes in and only uncovers what she is working on. I am never completely uncovered.

I hope when I get older that children love me like that. What an experience!

I just had a thought. They will love you like that because you will love them like that and they KNOW. You cannot fool kids, they know who is being phony to impress parents or whatever and who truly loves kids and has a kid's heart.

My dear friend thinks I am a 12 year old trapped in an adult body. I think that's why I dig Disney so much. I just love the carefree abandon of having fun without cynicism. I am hoping DD stays 6 forever!

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: I know that is alot of the attraction for us. Kids in old bodies just romping thru life. :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Every channel has john mark karr on it... I don't want to hear any speculation anymore. When we have facts, fine... I have been worried all day because of the other news and Lisa's upcoming trip...

Kim

My laundry is calling my name. All washed, clothes hung up, but the towels, socks and undies need to be folded and put away before bed time. It has been really nice talking with you tonight. Hope Lisa sleeps well also. Prayers for her trip.

Likewise on the laundry and likewise on the talking. Thanks Angie!

The 24/7 news is a problem. They just keep on the same thing over and over. Much of it becomes speculation. Makes me nuts too.

good morning everyone!
Of course I haven't caught up from last week yet (and I have to go to work soon). Had a great week with my parents and doing all the tourist stuff. Another week home before school starts here!

Thinking of those watching for Ernesto..

If I can figure out the photo posting, I'll show some from last week. (still the old camera!)

I wanna know how she opens her car door.....

She must have to hire someone to take care of ALOT of things that there is no way she can do them. :confused3

Yes, he told me and was all blushy about it. He could not believe it had happened to him. I really do think he was flattered. But seriously, what kind of woman does that?

I can't post it here.

OK amy, i found this person as one of the heaviest women.... (BTW none of us are remotely even a fraction of close to this one....... maybe like 5-6 or more of us together.

Carol Yager (1960 - 1994) of Flint, MI; 5 ft 7 in, estimated to have weighed more than 1600 lbs at her peak. She had been fat since childhood. In 1993, she was measured at 1189 lbs when admitted to Hurley Medical Center, suffering from cellulitis. She lost nearly 500 lbs on a 1200-calorie diet, but most of that weight was thought to be fluid, and she regained all of it and more soon after being discharged. Her teenage daughter, a boyfriend, and a group of volunteers helped take care of her. Despite extravagant promises by diet maven Richard Simmons and talk-show host Jerry Springer, Yager received little practical assistance in return for her media exposure (though Springer continues to profit from her appearance on his show, having rebroadcast that episode at least four times). She was refused further hospitalization on the grounds that her condition was not critical, despite massive water retention and signs of incipient kidney failure, and these problems led to her death a few weeks later.

Here's DD(almost 13) and DS(almost 3) at the pool last week:

I'm a little slow but is Lisa flying up to MD to be with DH his last week and for graduation?

Not to worry her but she might want to batten down the hatches before she leaves since they don't know which way the storm is going..... :scared1:

Worried for V too.... and everyone else possibly in the path of the storm. You guys remember Kathy, she's at the "World" with her family this week. Hope they took plenty of ponchos.

Yes, we leave Thursday afternoon. I will just pray. Having the boards on the windows from Wednesday thru Monday would kind of target the house...KWIM. Hopefully it will just be rain after we leave. I really don't want to fly in bad weather. :( This isn't going to be fun. I will probably take some of the pictures off the wall and put them on the dining room table. You just can't do everything that far ahead just in case.

Do you know if the storm has stayed a tropical storm or is it a hurricane again?

It is still a TS this morning but after it crosses land it will kick back up in speed before it gets to FL. The warm gulf stream always does that.
