V - I see you over on the CB trying to convince some people that all parents are not selfish, inconsiderate "breeders". A few particular individuals always demand respect for the choices they have made to not have children but they are the last to show any smidge of respect for someone who made the opposite choice. :sad2:

trouble just seems to follow me! ;)

Of all the things to buy cheap. I think this one ranks right up there. A suit for a little boy. Not only will they only wear it when forced, but will probably destroy it on the first wearing... good tip Lisa!

Kim
Actually he is loves to dress up. When we took him with us when he was 3 he insisted on wearing his dress shoes everywhere. I have a real cute picture of him sitting on the steps by the Mickey Pool in his bathing suit and shiny black dress shoes. :lmao:

They do not have any at our local WM, it is small though. I will have to drive the 25 miles to a SWM and check it out. Thanks for the info, I had not thought of looking there because they didn't have them at the local one.

This is the one I picked up last year. :)

Braggart! ;)

I know some people are lucky but I know that we are not the only ones who have to worry about money and vacation time. I wish we could do 2 weeks. Someday my dream is to take 3 weeks off and do WDW, Seaworld/Discovery Cove and then a 7 day cruise. Of course that will require lots of time and $$$$$ but hopefully when my kids are the right ages we will be able to pull it off!
Well, the week at WDW is not costing all that much $$$$. We are staying on DVC points - no $$ for room, and we bought 10 day never expire passes last year that we still have 8 days on - so no $$$$ for our passes. We did have to buy Aaron a 4 day pass and we will have to pay for food. We are going to do the dining plan. I do have lots of vacation time since I hit the 15 year mark at work and that is really, really nice. We also booked the cruise with DVC points so that helped too. LOVE DVC!!

DrHug and I got to ride together this morning. He is working at a Costco that I drive right by on my way to work and his hours are the same as mine today. :drive:

I suppose that I should find something to do around here. :) The weather has been misserable but the rain should be moving out this afternoon.

:lmao: OK, I am cleaning out everything on this computer...subscription list, email files, and the like. Here is an email that I didn't open right away. Hopefully it will help you as well. :)

Calmness in our lives .....

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace. Dr. Phil proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started and never finished."
So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel.
Please pass this on to those you feel might be in need of inner peace.

Too bad that if I followed the advice I wouldn't be able to type....or even get my butt off the floor. :lmao:

Well PJ,

You lucked out, and you too V + Kim. You won't have to listen to Amy's snoring.
:)

Thanks for all the offers everyone - I have no doubt you would have helped us out, and I dearly appreciate it . . .

But, PJ, we may be your neighbor for a night. We are booked for a 1 bedroom on the 5th at SSR, we will then move on the 6th to OKW (I do have us waitlisted for OKW). Kind of a PITB, but at least we will have a place to stay - and oh, we probably won't even get there until close to midnight!

So now you guys will be getting there first. :) This will be a great way to motivate the kids to get their butts out of bed & into the car. :thumbsup2

Well, I was working in the stair closet...until the kids started in again. It is full of scrapping supplies....scrapbooks, refill pages, tons of 12x12 paper, brads, stickers, pens/pencils, etc. I have to make a plan to get these done!!! If I get caught up I will have more closet space! :lmao: I also took all the cruise stuff out of the little bags that I have been stashing in there & put them in the big beach bag.

The boys are fighting, and DH wants me to go get a ton of pellets today. Last year we had a pellet shortage here, as one of the nearby plants burnt down. I want to start scapbooking again after the boys start school. I am trying to find the boys size 10-12 peter pan and captain hook costums for the cruise and wdw. I am going to wally world today to see if they have a pattern, hate to really have to sew it thoe. see ya.

???? What pellets, Mum? I am just letting the kids play this week. It is too dismal to go out anywhere. I figure they have two more days to do whatever before school starts....and REALITY hits! LOL! DS hasn't even read a book this week. His brain needs a break too.

Wood pellets? :rotfl: I was just looking on the front page for the ruins stuff, but couldn't get to page 476 or 478, So what time dowe get into port and the tour leave and get back, and then what time does the ship leave. I was thinking I might go. But I want time to go to the village and to chi chi's also. But I was also thinking that 4 days of beach might be a bit much. I also want to take the boys to the school. For the cruise goodies. I finally found small bubbles, like 60 bottles. I also got 60 small cocktail sords for pirate night. I think I will hand out the bubbles in the term.
