No! I was so sick with DS I weighed less the day he was born than before I was pregnant. I was even dieting prior to getting pregnant. The doctor was so bent out of shape. I wasn't trying to lose weight...just the opposite. It is just hard to gain weigth when nothing and I mean nothing will stay down!

I gained over 40 pounds with each one but it was all gone at my 4 week check up. I never exercised or anything...just went on with life in a two story house. Now I am paying for it!

Glad to see that you found a room, V. I've added it to the site along with your MVMCP plans. :)

I am reading thru some old posts and came up with several questions - bear with me please.

I have a copy of a May double dip Navigator with menus from most of the meals - do you think the menus will be the same or similar for the Dec. cruise? Can you just order several appetizers and skip to dessert? Or you need to wait until the rest of table catches up? If we have a party of 5 - what size table will we get?

elaine
The menus will probably be the same. You can order whatever you want. Two appetizers, two main courses and two desserts if you want. Or just appetizer and dessert or whatever combination. Your servers will be very accomodating.

If you dine alone with a party of 5 you will likely be at a table by yourselves. Being linked with a large group you may be at a table for more. For example, they may put the 5 of you with the 3 of us making a table for 8. We were at a table for 10 on the 2004 10 day cruise because we were linked with a bunch of DISers. We were originally assigned to table for 4, but the other two did not show up and the servers rearranged us to put us with a table of 8 so we would could be with our group. LOTS of fun. :grouphug:

I know it is a little early to start planning on what to take on the plane with you but........We are flying in from Indianapolis on Saturday and taking the Disney transport to the port. My problem is that I want to take bottled water and bottles of caffeine free diet pepsi. We also have to carry a neubulizer for my son and myself, we are both asthmatics, of course we have the camera bag, a carry on with clothes & swimsuits in case all the luggage gets lost, a laptop to download pictures off the camera memory card. I don't see how we can carry on drinks. I know with all the changes right now it is a mute point but I am hoping things are back to normal by the time we fly. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.
Are you talking about having a little something to drink on the plane or cases of it for the cruise?

If you want to have cases of Diet Pepsi and Water you could ship it ahead to the ship and it is supposed to be waiting for you in your cabin. The address for this is on the FAQ thread at the start of the Cruise Line Forum.

We are bringing a case of Dr Pepper but since we are driving we will probably just pack it in an extra suitcase.

The only rest in MK that had an early time was Tony's so I booked there - we've never eaten there so it might be nice to try something new.
We ate at Tony's and loved it. Very good food and the service was excellent. :thumbsup2 This was a few years ago, but we booked there this year because our memory of it is so fond. :goodvibes

MMcCarthy, have you looked into renting a car from MCO to the port? There is a thread on Budget with day rates around $40. If you did this, you could stop at the store on the way to the port & pick up what you want to tak onboard with you. :)

The menus have changed slightly and I believe are on www.castawayclub.com. They don't have the ingredients listed like on the DIS but that was because I requested the info for people with allergies & the head server printed off the copies from their computer.

Also, I saw mention of an evening chocolate buffet meet for this board - are other things scheduled? I haven't sent my info and pics to Lisa yet.

What could I bring as an item to share at a meet? Probably something kids related?
I am already panicking about carrying it all. How do you all manage that?

oh - good morning all.

My TWINS say hi!!! ;)

elaine, Giona, Jaea (5)
We try to bring smaller, lighter stuff because we have to fly. We have lots of meets scheduled. Get your info to Lisa and check out the Webpage. PJ also is doing a Newsletter that is full of information.

Don't be overwhelmed by us though. :teeth: You can participate in as many or as few of the planned events as you want. :grouphug:

Hi to the TWINS!

I just noticed that 7 of our regulars are online but no one is posting. Does everybody else do like I do and keep it running in the background at work?

I pop in from time to time but I also read some other boards on occassion so I may not see posts on this thread immediately. Gasp! :faint:

I pop in and out whenever I get a minute to breathe Patsy. Gave up on other threads - not enough hours in the day!

Well last night I was so tired and the board was so slow that I watched an episode of Sex and the City and then was in bed by 9:10. I wanted to watch a second episode of SatC but i was too tired. :sad2: Anyone else here a SatC fan?
That show is so funny! We love it!

We are getting packed for a weekend of camping. The weather should be beautiful! Have a great weekend everyone! I'll catch you on Sunday.

We are stopping at Knoebels Grove on Sunday on our way home from camping. That is our family reunion.

See ya later!

I think I closed all my windows last time but I usually just turn off the monitor. I don't want to have to open everything back up again.

What? My twin will be gone all weekend! Say it isn't so!

That just shot my weekend plans. I guess I will have to spend some time getting ready for my garage sale that is next Saturday!

Hope that you have a great weekend, Brandi! Family can be challenging at times. :)

It is now pouring here. We ran out just before it started. I had to go to the doctor's office to pick up samples of a med that should help with the anxiety. :) I have decided to give up with the kids today...too crazy! They have taken the room apart and are building a fort with pillows etc. They have stopped fighting though...so that is good. I even have cookies in the oven. :)

Ohhh. I love pillow forts. I also love throwing a blanket over the table to make a tent. I'm so sorry DD is too old for that now.

Good luck with the new meds.

THE TOOTH IS OUT!!

party: party: party: party: party: party: party: party: party:

She went to dive under a big pillow and somehow caught her foot so hit her chin/mouth with her knee. She ran over to me and there was blood of course. I told her the tooth was knocked out & she had to let me get it. It was on it's back on her gum.

So Angie should get a button that says.....

I'm going on a Disney cruise....and you obviously are not!

;)

I like it, but Karen has to mail that to Angie ahead of time, because once we are in the terminal it's not as funny, lol.
