Becka, I am thinking of moving to Digi-scrapping, have lots of photos and not alot of space to scrap in. A laptop, a printer (13x14 printouts) which in the long run will be cheaper to buying then all the other stuff, and time, much easier. :artist: And If I don't want to print out I can do an online ablum for others to see.

There are lots of free elements online for digi scrapping and Photoshop Elements is 75.00 CA$. Search Free Digital scrapbook elements, lots and lots, lol.

Pj

Ps. We could try some out on the ship, I will have my laptop with me. We could do a couple of pages and e-mail to you, lol.
I bought that one - I can't recall the name by macscrapbook.com - I think iRemember??? I used it once for DD's Kindergarten class and have used it once. I was inspired by that digital one by Timon but I have no time to do it.

As I'm going through it all I realize hell would freeze over before DH will wear a pirates costume. Having him wear the handkerchief around his neck at the Whispering Canyon Cafe had me almost falling on the floor from the weight of my jaw dropping. I think that was it for another 10 years. Of course I think he'd be a wonderful pirate since he has that rakish sense of humor. He is just quiet about it - so its just not going to happen.

That is a total bummer!!! I would be soooo sad if my DH wouldn't play along. I hope he changes his mind for your sake!
As long as he doesn't comment about me and my attire I'm ultimately fine with it. I am the one who dresses up for Halloween every year. He would be absolutely miserable and that would make me miserable. I think I'll get a pirate tshirt and bring the eye patch ala pj's suggestion.

What is frustrating about the kids being home while you are trying to do this is they are always wanting something so it takes twice as long to do.
Sigh, isn't that the truth!!

Lisa - my house can be next on your cleaning list!!! ;)

Your post wore me out!! We just finished up dinner and Haley is in bed, Samantha watching the Smurfs (and it's an episode I remember as a young girl!) and DH is researching Fantasy Football.......poured here until we got home. I hope to get walking after the sun goes down and mosquitos go away tonight!

PJ - have you seen the software for the Mac called "Iremember"?

I have thought about buying it . . . I could NEVER do the cut and paste scrapbooks, but this one, I might try . . .

Bella,

Came across this after I made my post . . . was it really too much time? I keep thinking the cut and paste type are way too much time.

I also have too much of the old fashioned scrapbooking supplies to ditch that now. :) The kids enjoy taking them out & looking thru them. I enjoy trying new layouts.

Here's a good kid story for you guys . . .

On Saturday, the two boys you saw in the fluffernutter picture were over here playing with Sophia. Both of them can be quite a handful, and they are our next door neighbors.

Well, I look out the back window, and the smaller one has his foot wedged in the "V" of a tree in the back yard, about 2 feet up, with him on the other side. That might be bad enough . . . however, what caught my attention was that his shorts were pulled down to his knees, exposing the complete and full moon. I ran out, thinking the tree had also somehow ripped the kid's shorts off when he got stuck (his shoe was also removed from the stuck tree, and was lying on the ground).

Me - "what are you doing?"
Him - "I'm stuck and I have to pee"
Me- "well don't do anything until I get your foot out, OK, and haven't I told you NOT to pee in the yard?"
His Brother - "But what if he really has to go?"
Me - Your house is TEN steps away!

This child is fascinated with going to the bathroom outdoors. One time I found him squating in the backyard behind the tree, doing #2!

See what you are missing PJ?

I don't have more time than the average mother of 2 very young children....I just make the time. I really enjoy scrappin'. It is very relaxing....I think I would be stressed using the digital kind....

My DS really likes to pee outside! It is a boy thing. Thank goodness we live in the country!!! When he was first trained he wanted to poop outside too....obviously I would not allow that sort of thing...#1 is enough!

Thanks Lisa - I am going to check that out now!

Sorry, I didn't look at this first thing when I got it this morning. Lots of them are sold out. Don't give up though. Just check the site early each morning. They are always adding new pins to the sale.

Just looked at that software, but I really like the amount of files (backgrounds and elements) that are out there for use in photoshop/photoshop elements. I couldn't find any information on what file extensions can be used with iRemember.

Beside i am just getting ready to run with PSE, I couldn't imagine learning another new program. Plus I can play with the actual photos in PSE.

I have found pretty many for 3.99. Is that the lowest price you found? (Plus the additional 10%)

Look for the 6 pin sets for 9.99, then you also get 10% off, so around 2.00 per pin with shipping.
