I would be the woman people tell their cult friends about!!!! :rotfl:

Ya know - I feel like the tag fairy, b/c I read everyone's post thinking...hmm...that's a good like, I wonder if it could fit on a button....so maybe I'm the button fairy.

But that line would sure make a good tag! :rotfl:

Kim, I got one eye for a birthday gift and I paid for the other. I would do it again in a heart beat. 10 seconds after the surgery I could see the flag 53 stories down from the OR, it was so cool the next day being able to see the alarm clock.

Pj

Wow PJ. I keep telling DH that I was eye surgery. Maybe for Christmas.

I am dying here...

DH just asked DS how old he was and he said 4. DH then asked DS if he knew how old he was. 6? 20? I then told DS to tell his Daddy that he was old. I then said that I am probably old too, huh? He said: No, you are not old - your new!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:
What a little charmer. He's going to be so good with girls when he grows up!

Sorry, I'm catching up from last night and I just had to say something.

Notice how I haven't chimed in with my age?

OH Karen......

Someone did say that their DD was one...or their nephew? Was it Becca's DD?

Thanks Lisa...at least you keep posting Button Alerts for me.

I would point out that Lisa is in the lead with sayings for button possibilitities, the twins (Becka and Brandi) are tied for second...they really do seem like twins, and John is a close #3.

I know Kim had some winners out there, but between trying to do my new job, keeping up with reading posts and oh...taking care of that great family of mine, I'm not sure how I will ever find the time to go back and find some Kim-zingers. But I have a feeling Kim will provide us with ample material between now and the cruise.

My DH and I have known each other our entire lives. We have always gone to the same church. We were confirmed together. He alway says that he loved me since 3rd grade. I never noticed until.....uuummmmm...I was like.....uuummmm 22!!!!! I graduated college and he snagged me! Funny how things work out!
 How sweet!

Karen....Todd could be "Leader of the Cozumel Coconut and Banana Booze Tour"....or something along those lines.

Have I missed any recent discussions on parasailing? Is anyone planning to do this on CC? Is it best to try to get the first time available. I wondered with 2 CCs stops whether it would be easier to obtain? I have been wanting to do this for two years.

Dave and I are parasailing - guess we'll try for early the 1st day, too - I can't wait! :Pinkbounc

Actually I should probably call myself a failed and discouraged perfectionist. I am one of those perfectionist that gets easily discouraged and so I often don't try. I can never get my house clean enough so I just don't try very hard anymore. :)

Becka - me, too! I mean, I'll clean and as soon as the boys come home, it's a mess again within the hour - sheesh - why bother?? :confused3

DD was born on the eve of the new millenium. When we were in the hospital, they were having no elective procedures of any kind because of Y2K and they came around to reassure DH of the emergency plans they have. I actually kind of like her birthday because she gets to stay up all night, we are all off for the holiday, we get to do fireworks and it was never one of my favorite holidays until now...

Kim
That's really special!

Okay...I really am going to go and pack. I hate HATE HATEpacking!!!! Anyway...It must get done.

I'll be back later :wave2:

Some of you guys are making me feel old ...im 38 and the DW is 32 , and when we were on the June Western we celebrated 8 years of marriage , and 12 years of me holding her hostage .... :lmao:

pirate:

OK Todd, now you can feel younger . . .

I am 46 this year (another even year 1960 baby - and Lisa 6/15 not 6/16 -although I admit to all the Gemini stuff) and DW will turn 43 on this cruise. We celebrated our TWENTIETH Anniversary this year at WDW in May - May 24th to be exact, which I believe was someone else's Anniversary too. Our DS turned NINETEEN this year!

So I think you're still part of the young crowd - the "under 40" babies!

Just had to RSVP when I saw this, because everybody is making ME feel old, and I DONT think of myself as old! Until this year I started thinking I am closer to 50 than 40!

I don't know....you tell me! ;)

I was curious and look what I found out about Aquarius!

Aquarians work best in group projects, provided that they are recognized as having a leading part in them.

:lmao:

OMG!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

No darling, you are young because you keep hanging out with young people!

I so passed out last night! I never logged off, so it was easy to find where I had left off this morning!

Reading, reading, reading...

I was insistant that I would get an epidural so they gave me demerol, it didn't take away the pain and just made me cranky so finally I begged for the epidural. After receiving it I fell asleep and later the nurse woke me up saying it was time for me to start pushing. I wanted to go back to sleep. :rotfl: Didn't feel a thing. :thumbsup2

I swear I was a convert instantly!!! I went from DH giving me an ice chip & having to spit it right out to taking a nap too. :) I think that it made DH less stressed too. :thumbsup2 Oh, they gave me nubane. (sp???) That didn't stop the pain...just made me hit the ceiling. The nurse just chuckled when I grabbed onto the sides of the bed. She said that they can always tell the ones who are clean...they go right to the ceiling. Some people don't feel any effect!

You know I mentioned to DH last night something on this thread and he turns and asks me if he's leading a double life on here!! I guess he thinks I am playing him and me...silly man! I only have time to keep up with me!

I am so glad it's Friday!! Not that I look forward to cleaning this weekend, but hey it's got to be done! I want to go through the girls clothes and put some on Ebay or just get rid of them, we have boxes and boxes and I am running out of room!

When I went to the hospital to have DS, I was terrified to get the IV. The nurse said "Honey, you do realize why you are here and what is about to happen." I was much more afraid of the IV than the baby being born....FOOL FOOL FOOL!!!! OH WHAT A FOOL I WAS!!!!

I was the exact same way! Since that first IV I really don't mind needles so much any more...except for the percoset in the butt! :headache:
