DH really wants the lasic. He is just a little apprehensive about it. They won't give it to me, so contacts forever...

Kim

LASIC is great! Got it done about 6 years ago and highly reccommend it. :thumbsup2

Have I missed any recent discussions on parasailing? Is anyone planning to do this on CC? Is it best to try to get the first time available. I wondered with 2 CCs stops whether it would be easier to obtain? I have been wanting to do this for two years.
We are parasailing, I am hoping to talk DH into the first stop at CC. Let's get the parasailing group together and pick some good times to go. If we all have a 1st 2nd and 3rd option we might be able to get into the same boat.
Unless Lisa has a better idea.

So who here has had acupuncture? I went for my first appointment today.
I have had it for migranes and foot pain. It helped for the foot pain but not for the migranes. Then again, very little has helped them.

My Dr. does the treatments.

Okay between work interuptions and reading...that only took me 3 1/2 hours to catch up. Yowza. Im just glad you posting fools need some sleep. Does anyone think we're all gonna look like a bunch of zombies when we walk on to the cruise at this rate of posting?!

Dave and I are parasailing - guess we'll try for early the 1st day, too - I can't wait! :Pinkbounc

Becka - me, too! I mean, I'll clean and as soon as the boys come home, it's a mess again within the hour - sheesh - why bother?? :confused3
I only clean when someone is coming over, for pretty much the same reason. My family can trash a house in no time and I refuse to be a nag about keeping it picked up. When I am in a cleaning "frenzy" I do make them clean up their own messes.

I think no matter how tired we are we'll all be too darn excited to look like zombies...now later in the day maybe!! :)

<-- LOOK! I'm a veteran! I wonder when that happened.

I would like to thank the 12/09 cruise meets line. I couldn't have done it without you.

OK I'll spill. 42 (at the time of the cruise) and 46 for me and DH. Now that I know you all aren't in your 30's I feel a little better.

Ok I am kind of a Virgo, for the actual day I was born and the time, I am zero degrees Libra so the astrologist said I am both. Can a join the club?

Pj
I'm on the virgo/libra cusp too. Sept 23. When is yours?
Did I tell you my family calls me PJ. Maybe we are twins.

I almost hate to tell Angie but my Mom was also born in 1950. :duck:

I was born in '75 so I always just add 25 to the year. :rotfl:
No flames from here, Becka. My first was born in 1968 so I am "Mom" to many your age and older. ;)

I've always cleaned before someone comes over, but this weekend I'm taking a different approach. My brother, his wife and 4 kids are coming over this weekend....I'm cleaning AFTER they leave. It never fails that they simply don't pick up or take care of my house, so why have it clean for them to trash in a mere 5 minutes. I'm gonna do a quick wipe down and run a vacuum, but other than that...NOPE!

This is the same family that never has food in the fridge when we are visiting. I, on the other hand, have all kinds of snacks, variety for breakfasts, etc. Guess my DSIL didn't learn any general hospitality skills. I've often sat hungry at her house while my kids are telling me they are hungry and she never even gets up to offer them a piece of butter bread. :furious:

Ok, I am a Tarus, DH a Leo - not a match made in heaven, LOL

Yikes what a family! Fortunately our house is too small for houseguests.
My Grandmother used to find dirty underwear under the kitchen sink after my cousins visited. Ewwww!

We were married in 1997 just 13 days after we graduated from college. My parents wanted me to wait to get married until I got my degree and I did...just barely. ;)

We have been married 9 years and it will be 10 years next May. We wanted to take a late May cruise to celebrate in '07 but with DCL going to the Med that was not going to happen and that is how we ended up on this one. DH says we are celebrating on this cruise but it seems strange to celebrate it that early.
We got married in 1967, just 27 DAYS after we met at Disneyland. Celebrating 39 years October 6. Is that Magic sprinkled with Pixie Dust or what?

That would be about the same time. If your DS is 2 years older than me, my DH is almost 1 year older than me and was born in '74. I think they lived there until sometime in '76-'77. I know by '80 they were living in Guam.

My DS was born in March 1973. We lived in the area until I finished my tour in June of 1975. We then moved back to NC (Durham area)

Ah!! I had to run to the store for some milk and when I opened the door, I was not hit with a wall of heat!! It's beautiful outside.
