Thankfully the nurse said that she hadn't seen an epidural take so well. I was giggling & saying that we have to have another baby while pushing DS out. YEAH those drugs were working well! :)

I was insistant that I would get an epidural so they gave me demerol, it didn't take away the pain and just made me cranky so finally I begged for the epidural. After receiving it I fell asleep and later the nurse woke me up saying it was time for me to start pushing. I wanted to go back to sleep. :rotfl: Didn't feel a thing. :thumbsup2

If it doesn't rain...we will probably go to the pool with DH on Saturday. :)
It just started raining here. DD is complaining about it and her clothing options have now changed (so much for laying them out the night before)

OK!!

To get us caught up:

John - Leo
Me - Scorpio
Samantha - Scorpio
Haley - Aquarius

John and I met at work and the day I met him I went home and called my Grandmother and told her I met the man I am going to marry....we'll have been together 10 years in May! --- Our first date was Chili's and a Yankees/Phillies game (YUCK!) --AAA game!

We got married here on Longboat Key on the beach, formal wedding, sit down dinner, dancing, of course, booze! We honeymooned in Jamaica and (got married again in our swimsuits!)

Samantha was born naturally after 32 hours of labor on Halloween! Haley was born via c section...we checked in to the hospital at 7:30am for my induction (induced with both) and as soon as they hooked me up her heart beat started dropping and before I knew it I was in surgery - it was so quick my Dr would not do an epi (he didn't want to wait the time it too to have an effect) so I was ALONE (no DH in the OR) and she was born 9:39am...they said she was so tangled in the cord if I had gone into labor on my own she would have probably not made it. Samantha was also wrapped in the cord but only once around her neck apparantly not as bad as Miss Haley! Both pregnancies were great but both births were horrid in my opinion....Haley was our first DCL souvie as well. Not sure about any more...don't want to be outnumbered.

John is 42 as of yesterday and I am 31!! (until November!) Scorpio's Rock!

PJ - Ivan and Natalie!! -- not sure if you found out yet.

Well, does that sum up the question answer session from last night or did I miss anything?

I got up nice and early and have spent too much time catching up! Now I feel the need to recap as well:

Checking in with the 40 and over crowd (youngsters out there!). DH and I are only 9 months apart in age, but were different years in college, where we met. My best friend liked him but he asked me out! (it's all OK; she was in our wedding and is DD13's godmother!)

DS wouldn't wait for labor day; only held out until 9pm on Sunday night. And in 2003, labor day was Sept 1, so DS has an Aug 31 bday. I'm still bitter because DDs are Sept and April, so if he were Sept when he was due, it would have been a mother's ring with two sapphires and a diamond. Figured the boy would blow that plan!

I had 3 easy pregnancies with no morning sickness (which only means that I gained a ton because I could always eat!). But DDs were both induced and it was easy. Of course, this means that even though DS was my third child I had to call the doc's office on labor day weekend and say that I thought I was in labor but wasn't sure. And the anesthesiologist wasn't in on Sunday night and didn't arrive quickly enough for my demands.

OK, now I really have to work for a few hours.

Ok, so I had a tough day at the office, then I had to drive Sophia and my MIL halfway to Toledo after that. Come home, take out the trash, walk the dog, and get to sit down to see what my dear friends have been up to today, and I get to THIS?

You people are sick, sick, sick . . . :rotfl2:

Thank God Sophia wasn't home to see her daddy as the "Big Banana"!

Now I have to wonder, the time and effort this must have taken . . . I think this is really a sign of a deeper problem. I will think about this . . .

Too, too, funny! :lmao:

John

Yes John - I thank God every day that I have these guys for my comic relief!!! This new job is really getting stressful.

But my question to you - what happens if this picture ends up plastered all over the school? Hmmm....what would those kids think of you?!!! Hmmm.... Anyone else think John's gonna be very very nice to all of us?!!!
