Wow - you have Christmas surrounded.
Yes when I was pregnant with DD the doctor wanted our "next one" to be born on 12/25. He said conceive on April 1st. He was all jazzed up about the possibilities.

Yeah, DH thinks so too! ;)

No I suppose I just got very lucky to not have to deal with dating bad guys for years and years before I found the right one. However, it is kind of strange that we have been together since we were so young. We have both changed so much but at the same time we still feel like two 18 year olds half the time.

I tired to get rid of him a time or two but I wasn't successful! :rotfl: Actually after our freshman year in college I went back to my parents (who were living in Seattle at the time) and he went back to his parents here in Missouri. We had been together all year but we said when we left that we would just see how things went that summer and that we would be free to date other people if we wanted to. Neither of us did and we lived for phone calls and letters. I knew by the end of the summer that we would eventually get married. :lovestruc We never went home for the summer after that either. We just stayed at school and worked.

:) I never wasted time in HS or college on guys....taking 21 hours & working 40 at Pizza Hut or where ever it was at the time didn't allow any time for that. I didn't meet the first jerk until I was 24...but his stupidity made me realize how wonderful DH was when we met. :lovestruc

May is the crazy (and expensive) month in my family. We have Mother's Day, two wedding anniversarys (mine on the 24th and my sisters on the 26th), my Mom's birthday on the 13th, DS's on the 14th and my BIL on the 15th.

DS barely got his own birthday!!! :)

I never noticed until.....uuummmmm...I was like.....uuummmm 22!!!!! I graduated college and he snagged me! Funny how things work out!

Awww, that's a sweet story. :goodvibes

ROFL! MIL talks about having a house full of people for a nice dinner & she went into labor & missed it all. They had liver & onions at the hospital that night. :sad2:

DD was born on the eve of the new millenium. When we were in the hospital, they were having no elective procedures of any kind because of Y2K and they came around to reassure DH of the emergency plans they have. I actually kind of like her birthday because she gets to stay up all night, we are all off for the holiday, we get to do fireworks and it was never one of my favorite holidays until now...

That will be nice!!!! Our last 2 cruises we stayed in an inside cabin. THis one we splurged on a porthole! We are sort of park comandos. We leave in the morning and don't come back until we want to sleep. Therefore we don't spend the extra on nice rooms.

That is us completely!

Our last four cruises have been inside cabins (no one to peek at us) and when we visit WDW we go for the Pop Century usually. This next trip in September with my DS he has booked us outside the park to save $$$$. More money for STUFF!!! :cloud9:

That is sweet Brandi! I can't even imagine knowing someone from when I was that young. My Dad was in the Army and we moved around so much I never felt like I really grew up with anyone except for my sister and brother.
I can't imagine moving around. I only ever moved for college! My DH and I built our home about 2 min. from each of our parents houses! Our parents live about a min away from each other! It is so convenient with the kids! When I am working my mom keeps the kids. My MIL is off every Thursday so she picks up my nieces and takes them to my mom's house to play all morning then they have lunch before naps! I am sure that there aren't many people who have their mom and MIL get together for kiddie playdates every week!

Lisa do people wrap DH's birthday presents in Holiday paper or give one present for both days?

WOW! That makes me glad that family doesn't do birthdays or anniversaries. What do you keep getting people?

Brack, are people going to peek at us? Can I put a sign that says DH has claustrophobia and we know Lisa, no peeking...

We give him a seperate gift with party paper. We do a birthday cake after dinner. BK we would celebrate it in July. I surprised him with a weekend in Wburg the first year...like Christmas in July...just to make it special.

DH's parents are about 2 hours away and mine are 7 hours away and I really try hard to not have my Mom and my MIL in the same room. The first time they met was at our college graduation, the second time was the wedding rehearsal just 12 days later. The next time (and last time) was DS's 3rd birthday party 8 years later.

My MIL is  and she drives my family (especially my Mom) nuts! My MIL will continually say negative things about me to my own Mom. I thought at the wedding my Mom might just try to hurt her and my Mom is not at all the physical type.

I met DH while we were both working at Target... he was 19 and I was 20. I had the biggest crush on him but didn't think I had a chance with him. He found out my birthday was coming up and had balloons delivered to me while I was working. One week later we started dating and 9 months later we were married. We just knew we were meant for each other, we were already discussing marriage on our 2nd date!

Too funny! Also back then they kept you in the hospital for 1 week. I found a birth record and I wondered why some of the info was January? Can you imagine?!

I almost hate to tell Angie but my Mom was also born in 1950. :duck:

I was born in '75 so I always just add 25 to the year. :rotfl:

:earseek: My DS is two years older than you. I feel ..... no I am old. :confused3
