I've sworn that we will never drive that far.....(DM used to drive us down every year as kids and i know that the ride got longer and longer)

We ususally don't have that extra 3-4 days for travel time either..

SO it's SWA all the way for us....

I love to drive Kim and I loathe flying!! It oesn't bother me if I get side tracked, but it is a pretty easy drive to PC, especially once I get to 95!!

I think it takes about 17 from Delaware after I take the 1 and 1/2 hour ferry ride over. I may just drive around this time, but I don't like to have to go around Baltimore and DC. I could cut through MD and miss Baltimore, but that gets a little more confusing.

my DH knows he probably should just give in.... He has made me promise a few non- DIS board meet days though.... With all of us on the ship that'll be hard to do.....

Well that makes total sense! I hate being in a car and don't mind the actual flying (good thing cause the drive from Utah's a killer) and we fly direct so no transfers.

Driving is not too bad. As you might guess I do a lot of it for work. I can make pretty good time except for DW potty stops.

DH is leaving tommorow to go salmon fishing off the coast of Canada with his brother, my parents, my uncle, my 3 cousins, my aunt, and one of the cousins fiance. I am kind of scared. I am worried one group will come back and one will not...

I will start down on Thursday and pick up the rest of the family at the airport on Friday. Since I will get to leave early without having to wait for the kids tog et out of school, I will probably reach at least Georgia before I stop. If I have DD 3 I may not get as far the first day.

When we lived in OKC we still drove. There it was almost 24 hours. We used to drive it straight but the last couple of years we stopped about 3/4 through.
