Saturday's game against BYU (also without Lawson) was tough to watch until the end when they turned it on defensively. I hope that happens tonight!

Speaking of Koufos, I went to high school with a Greek guy nicknamed Kosta (but he pronounced it "cost-a" not "coast-a").

The Greek pronunciation is probably between the two. Not Cost-a, but actually closer to Coast-a.

Hey! We are within 6 now!

I still want Dook Vitale off my TV....

You know, he is pretty annoying. Alex likes him, but he can drive me crazy.

BTW Marielle, Alex is closing in on the finish of the first semester of Med school. I learned a lot as well as him. Only 3 grades in med school: Pass, Fail, or Honors. He is doing fine.

They are almost done dissecting their cadaver . . . boy am I glad that is not me!:scared1:

Good game guys.

Lots of sloppy offense for Ohio State.

Good luck this year.

Neither team shot well. They showed at one point that UNC was shooting 36% and OSU 25%. Last week UNC shot 70% in a game.

We had SNOW tonight! We live at 600 feet and there was about a half in accumulation when I got home. Weatherman did not seem to think it was getting below 1000 ft, but it was falling pretty good as I came over the hill to get home.:scared1: Time to go to Florida! :woohoo:

John, I found this and forgot to post it before the game:

Ohio State and Carolina haven't crossed frequently on the recruiting trail, but the Tar Heels did express an interest in Buckeye seven-footer Kosta Koufos. "We loved Kosta to death," Coach Roy Williams said. "I told Thad (Matta) last year I thought he had the best freshman center prospect in the country with Greg (Oden), and I felt the same way with Kosta."

I know I may have said this before, but the nice thing is that he is a really great kid from a good family. His mom is a counselor at our High School.

To all my female geek friends . . .

This is a cool site and podcast - someday soon I bet Sophia will be interested!

Heard about it on the MacBreak weekly podcast.

Well my drinking plan didn't work out the way I had hoped. Unfortunately before I could have a glass I got Allie's stomach flu. :sad2: I just managed to crawl our of bed a little while ago and I feel terrible. I really have to hope now that DH does not come down with it since we are scheduled to leave tomorrow afternoon.

Becka, You sound like you have put the last straw on the camels back. :grouphug:

Hey guys . . .

Bobbie has competition on the repo thread . . .

I have no response to that. "other than saying it is D*** ugly"

Hey all!

Back from Hawaii. Easiest Thanksgiving of my life!

Hope you all had a great time too!

Have fun in WDW everyone!

Kim

The decorating has begun!!! I froze outside this morning putting up the garland along the front of the porch and hanging the wreaths from the windows. I made the bows this morning and measured out the velvet ribbon and figure out how to put them up there. Thank goodness for those plastic roof clips!!! :) Due to the river wind we get here now I had to use floral wire to secure the wreaths to the sides of the windows. They were being blown/slid back and forth along the top of the sashing. LOL! Mike finished up the garland around the door with greens from the woods behind us, strands of gold beads and more of the burgundy velvet ribbon. With the lights on it looks real pretty. :) We are going to have to find something to hang on the garland on the roof of the porch. I am thinking some of those oversized ornaments or bells but I can't find anything like that online so we have to go to the B&M....probably tomorrow.
WOW! Well my shopping and card picks were completed in October but then they had shopping around town. And those Christmas cards I got in Sept to begin the process early. Well they are in the truck of my car, I even thought for a hot second - hmmm maybe I'll bring them on the plane tomorrow and start writing. NOT. I am trying to commit to NO WORK on vacation. I have a proposal and another work document that I hope to complete on the plane and send off when we land and that is it.
