All I have learned about this cruise I have learned from this discussion group. Lisa has been invaluable. I am paid in full and have not recieved anything ever. Is this normal?

Kim, maybe a call to DCL. They should be able to give the phone number for concierge services. A tour of the bridge w/mickey or tea w/wendy, I don't think either of them would be the same after a group of 50+ DIS board kids, lol, but what a sweet thought.

People have posted about there being a concierge number to call before your cruise. If you don't get anywhere by calling DCL, LMK & I will try to find out something fo you.

We have not heard from Karen today. I hope their home is doing okay with this horrible flooding. We can't really go anywhere because so many roads are closed. I hope my DH can get to work tomorrow. So many of our friends have flooded basements. Our pastor had to evacuate his home. You cannot imagine how thankful my DH and I are that our home is on a hill and doesn't have a real threat of flooding.

My friend said that the IGA (a grocery store) had groceries floating out the doors. They were cleaning it up and just throwing everything away.

Well Folks I am heading to bed for an early night. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. They are calling for passing showers over night. After 18.5 inches I hope they pass by without even a drop!!!

We had our first showers yesterday and tonight, the weather man talked about them all weekend and they have finally arrived, hopefully they just drop enought to brighten the grass and flowers up and cut the humdity. We lost several major road in Toronto, last fall due to rains, made a mess of the city for months.

More rain and storms here tonight. I am now wondering if I will get to cut the grass before we leave for the beach! But, thank goodness, the air is on again!

Just a couple more days Lisa, and we will be off on our 11 hour drive to the beach and your neck of the woods. Any thoughts on whether we will run into any road trouble in NC? I'm beginning to wonder after all the flooding if we will run into any travel problems en-route.

I am actually quite lucky, my TA called to see if we wanted to move our cat 3 midship and I remembered reading about those on this site, so we said yes! Right now! I will ask our TA about concierge info too.

The people are getting to safety. That is a very good thing. The roads are just a mess!!!! The rivers are all cresting now this morning and this afternoon. I have never seen flooding like this in my life. It amazes me. My DH does road work and their shop phone is ringing off the hook!

Today I am going to clean the house. Since I can't go anywhere anyway!

It looks just awful. I hope everyone is ok and that evacuation plans go smoothly. I don't think I have ever heard of flooding like this this late in the summer. Best of luck to everyone in that neck of the woods....
