Ah the joys of summer camp......

just got back last week from a week at Boy Scoout camp!

We would need to see how many are interested and then you would need to contact them ahead of time. There is a separate room at Palo that holds a large group. DISers have used it before. A Cat 3 guest on the 10 day Christmas Cruise in 2004 reserved it for us. If we are interested I can PM her and ask her who/when/how she arranged it. Guess we would first need to see if others are interested in a group brunch. Count us in for 2.

On our last cruise we got to use the private dining room in Palo. It was fabulous! Our cruise buddies arranged it before the cruise with the concierge, so I have no first hand experience on how they set it up. One point though... the room is for relatively small groups. We had six and nearly filled the room. (though I am sure they can arrange the tables for more folks)

I think that the May DD cruise had 14 people in there. They have a picture with two chairs on each end too.

I loved Boy Scout Camp, we used to head out there as Girl Guides (Scouts) and we always had an all district long weekend over Canada Day Weekend, I miss camping!

OK guys, the progressive stateroom wine & cheese will need to be on Thursday since we found that the concierge team needs a little time to set it up. That would make our brunch on Monday...which is the day we were going to be making resies anyway (me, DH, John, DW, & Pjpooh-don't want her to think anyone is upset with her ).

You mean I have to tidy up for company?!?!?!

Hey Jordan! How are you doing Ol' buddy?

Any chance you might be cruising in 2007? We booked the Dec 1 2007 Western last week . . .

Raining here tonight, but we are not upset about it. Yesterday morning our fan in the furnace was making a racket, and then it just stopped. The guy came out, and the blower fan cylinder was shredded. They told us they would order the part, and that it would be fixed today . . . . Well, the part came in, but when he tried to install it, it was unbalanced, so we are once again without air.

So, the rain tonight has cooled it off a bit. Amy said that if it is not fixed by tomorrow, I have to get her a room at the Holiday Inn. Funny how as kids, we never had air, and now we can't sleep without it. Small problem to deal with when I think how many surrounding us are dealing with real problems because of the rain and flooding. Two people were killed over the weekend - one a kid in a tent camping when a tree fell on the tent, and the other, a paramedic trying to rescue two young kids who drove into water too deep and were almost swept away. The kids survived, and the rescuer drowned saving them.

I am hoping that the rain will clear up tomorrow around here. It is suppose to remain with scattered TSs thru Thursday and then is sunny & clear from Friday on. Who do you know, John? Well darn! I just checked for the first time in a couple days & there is rain as of 7/5. I guess that is the best time to plan on the aquarium? Lots of indoor activities ready. We picked up big intertubes from the dollar tree this afternoon to use at CC & the kids had to get one for your DD too. They want to use them next week.

Lisa, I still have never gotten one email that you have sent out. I'll send you my email again. Do you still have have my resie info and number, or do I need to send it again. I also am on the wait list for early dining. I choose late when we booked becouse of our time diff. but now that we are going to wdw for 11 days before the cruise, we will do fine with early.

I would like to do palo brunch, so add Don and I.

The back cracker is a chiropractor. to long to type and I spell horable.

I really need to send lisa our pic for the sight, still haven't taken the time. I have a ton of stuff to do to get ready for the lake tomorrow. see ya

klineyqueen -- Pencils personalized with cruise info.

I just saw this on the web page. I have been thinking for the last month that I was so smart for thinking of getting pencils becouse I could not think of anything else to bring but pirate tattoos. Now I have to think of something else or come up with a snassy saying for my pencils. but we know that won't happen.

Back to the drawing board with crayons for me.

JORDAN!!! We will be at DL July 24, 25, and 26. We arrive in CA July 22 late and have a BBQ at DSIL in Mission Viejo on 23rd. We are driving to Montana on the 27 and 28th. We have a 40th anniversary to celebrate there on the 29th. Then drive back to Oregon on the 30 and 31. My DM was laughing at us. 8 states in 10 days including 3 days at DL. We must be NUTS!!! Hope to see you there!
