It all worked out. Wyatt woke up and and wanted to go to church. I had to hire his sister to come from her moms so someone would be here when they got back from church tell Don or I could get home. When he got sick I put him in tub and took spencers blankets (boy was he not impressed) out and hung them on the fence and hosed them clean. then at 6:30 am called my friend and asked her if she could wash them. I took her a brand new 120 load box of tide with bleach for doing it. Of course washed, dried and folded when we got back from the lake. What a great day we had, My friend and I relaxed all day went in the neibors peddle boat and watched the Casey work all . Aguy I hired that went with us. The only down side was that I didn't get the Jet ski running untell we had to go, bummer but I'll ride it next time were there. Got home jumped in the shower, went to the church dinner were the boys are now. DH got a fire page (all of walmarts cardboard behind the store next to the propane tanks was on fire) I told him we'd walk home. I think it was almost a mile. Had a great great great time there.

Another busy day here! Swim lessons...pool...game stop (2 locations looking for a used game for DD :( )...McDs (got Filmore so have all the Cars now!!!).

MICKEYPLAN

Last night I went thru the website & updated the manifest. I made sure that I have everyone's email on my mailing list and put their DIS ID on the nickname...so found a couple that are no longer with the group & they wont have to read about our excitement anymore. :(

I also updated the manifest with a table format. I added a collumn for the page number where that family's picture is on the site. I have also added the DIS ID to help us put the names together. :) Hope that I am not the only one having that problem with over 100 people signed up.

I have gone thru all the posts since Angie mentioned the Palo brunch along with the PMs/emails that I have received. Keeping in mind that the room holds 14...we may not fit but we can see what can happen. ;)

Lisa - I love the picture of you daughter and Cinderella. I was wondering if your son ever dressed up like a boy character?

Here you go! :) He likes his Hook costume. Captain Hook always messes with him. At the pre pirate party before dinner Pluto took his pirate hat from him & wore it while he danced. :)

This is Amy, John's wife, I don't usually post just read!!

I just got this CNN Breaking news at work...

12-year-old boy dies on Disney's Rock'n'Roller coaster at Disney-MGM studios in Orlando, Florida, officials tell CNN.

wow......

RNR isn't that long of a ride either....

Wonder if he could have choked on gum or candy......

The only time i ever had a problem was when we did RNR 2x's back to back (we wanted a picture and it cut my DH's head off the first time cause he was in the back car) The picture girl took us through the back way to ride again. I was just a little woozy afterwards. Thank god for an empty stomach. Three times and i would have lost it.

Very, very sad to loose a child. :sad2: We will keep this family in our prayers. I bet they will find that there was some undiagnosed condition.

BTW, HELLO, AMY! :)

There is flooding in Rocky Mount & Greenville that we still hear about on the news. LMK if you guys go that way & I will ask Mike for a good alternate route. :)

OK guys...serious talk here for a minute. We have always told the kids not to play with fire, don't touch it, don't get up on the stove when it is on & don't touch anything on the stove because it is hot. I grew up with gas appliances but I guess that with electric it is harder for kids to realize the danger? Anyhow...DD just came in here with a dish towel & she was crying saying she was sorry. We are making dinner...noodleroni...one of her specialties. ;) She puts everything in the pan...it takes forever for the noodles to get just right. :lmao: She puts the pan on the back burner & I turn it on. She stands guard to tell me when it is boiling so that I can turn it down. Well apparently she noticed that there was water/milk on the stove top near the burner & wanted to pick it up so she wiped it with the dish towel...which touched the red burner. It started smoking and was black and had a hole in it. Instead of yelling for me she just blew on it to put it out. She was so worried about getting into trouble for ruining the towel & touching the "fire) that she didn't call me for help. I just talked to her & explained that she wouldn't get in trouble if she calls me and how important it is for her to call for help right away. I have already stitched up the towel & it is in the washer so she is happy about that. I will be talking to DS about this too. Who would have thought that kids would process the information about playing with fire?

Lisa, thank goodness that DD is OK and that she was able to blow out the fire and that the blowing didn't make it worse.

Growing up as a Fire Chief's daughter I can tell you that kids do process "all that fire stuff" I grew up with many a stories of fires and being told not to pay with fire or anything that could make fire. To this day i really don't like fires or being around them!

Lisa, weird that your DD caught the towel on fire the same week my DD caught the potholder on fire. Except my DD is 34 yo!! See you young moms...it never ends! :sad2:
