Holy Moley I can't get to the keynote. I've NEVER had that happen. "Due to exceptional demand, your request could not be completed at this time".

I KNEW I shouldn't have left my desk. Sigh.... waiting impatiently.

Well I got the shuttle pics added to my trip report and I am up to the end of day 2..... I sure am writing a lot!

Nathan had a bit rougher day today although it sounds like all of the kids are "test driving" the new teacher to see where she stands on rules, etc.. He has to go to bed early tonight and can not play any games so hopefully he will decide to behave better tomorrow.

Allie's birthday is less than 2 weeks away and everyone is asking me what they should get her. I had enough trouble telling them things for Christmas...I am all out of ideas!

Kim - Yes I probably should go to the doctor to get a blood test but I don't have a clue when I would go right now. I keep hoping I will get an answer in a few days. Hopefully last night is the only breakdown I will have for a while...at least until I get a definite answer.

After work tonight I went to the furniture store to buy Nathan's new bed. Allie is ready to move out of the crib so we are going to give her DS's old bed and he is getting a new captain's bed. He really wants a bunk bed but there is no way he is ready for one. He has to jump to get up on this one though so I think he will still be really happy.

It should be in in 2-3 weeks. This means that I also need to decide what sheets to buy for Allie. I am thinking of getting some princess stuff for her.

Luckily she did get a new hand held nitendo for xmas so we can get the accessories for her birthday. Then there's the old throw back....

I think I am going to "cheat" a little. Since she is getting her big girl bed in a few weeks and I think I am going to do her room in Disney Princess stuff I think I will ask for stuff for her room. I don't know what else to tell them...

That sounds like a good idea, Becka. Why get more stuff that she wont notice for a while after all the Christmas goodies? With DS's birthday a month before Christmas I use to cut back on Christmas and the Easter Bunny would bring a few gifts with the basket. This helped to space out the age appropriate toys and also spaced out the gifts so he wasn't overwhelmed in a month's time.

Why am I posting this picture? Well...because if I didn't you wouldn't believe what I am about to share. I still can't believe it. I went in the fridge and took out the lemon merangue pie...or tried to anyway. The foil tin buckled and fell out of my hand. The lid flew to the right and the pie was in the air. I opened my eyes to find this. The pie had flipped and landed right in the tin on the floor!!! I couldn't do that on purpose if I tried all day.

I am on looking for updates from you or John on what they said.

I spent all morning and part of the afternoon dealing with our union - grievances, etc. I had barely enough time in between to rsvp to Carla's emails about MacWorld.

Synopsis . . . new cool phone, Paramount movies on iTunes, Apple Tv to stream your content to your TV . . . and a new airport router 80211n.

Apple TV and new router pre-ordered. New phone . . . well, I don't have cingular, and it is a bit pricey.

Cool thing but only 4 or 8 GB come on ...it cant hold my music or Movies ....wah .... Looks like I am keeping my 60GB video for awhile ...Hopefully next november the new Ipod will come touchscreen with at least 80 GB and widescreen

Can you explain to me why I have to watch the keynote as streaming video, and cannot download it for free to iTunes so that I can watch it on my iPod?

That really drives me crazy!

My thoughts exactly. The phone is way cool, but too limited to be a real replacement for my 80gb iPod. I am waiting for the widescreen in an iPod, or the phone to come Way down in price. $499 for 4gb or $599 for 8gb is too rich for my blood.

The new Airport is cool, you can connect external hard drives to it, so that you can store your music and files off your laptop - something I have been looking for. Also twice the range, and five times the speed.

Apple TV is also pretty cool. Finally watch your content on your TV too, wirelessly.
